Why does RDLC table inner border thicker than outer border - wpf

I am working with WPF RDLC with a table that will display my record ,i was wondering why the inner border is more thicker compare to the outer border
Following is one of the example
All border I set to 1pt , but the outer look like 1pt , the inner look like 2pt
Is that anyway for me to set it all to border same width ?

Can you try:
selecting the table itself (not the collection of cells in the
table) and then set the table's border.
resize the table so it doesn't touch the report edge.

I have found the problem and solution .
The problem is because each cell is set to 1pt width for the border , therefore a column consist more than a cell side by side , the border will look thicker .
To solve this borders that look thinker require to reduce the border width to 0.5 , so that when both cell side by side , the total border width will be 1pt

Another possible solution if you have already checked border width.
It is possible if the inside columns and rows border style is solid but the entire table (select the corner) border style is none. Change it so that they are the same.

Can I drag a gridsplitter using an image that floats above it?

I have a vertical gridsplitter with a column width of 10 pixels. I've floated an icon over the top of it, and using a multibinding, this icon stays centred on the gridsplitter (so it follows the gridsplitter as it's dragged left and right).
Is there a way I can (a) allow the user to the drag the icon only left and right within the grid (I'm guessing by tracking the delta values?), and (b) bind the grid column widths to its position, so that the gridsplitter effectively follows it?
I can see a very rough solution in my head, but I'm wondering if I'm overcomplicating things - maybe there's a simple way to do this through binding?

C# Winforms: GroupBox not resizing

I have two GroupBoxes on the left side of one of my TabControls, call them GroupBox A (top left), and GroupBox B (bottom left). The GroupBoxes do not resize like I would hope.
Example:
When I resize the main form that has the TabControls with my mouse, or maximize it, or move it to a screen with lower resolution, GroupBox B keeps its width / height. This causes GroupBox B to draw over GroupBox A, kind of like a 'always on top' effect.
Desired:
Would like both GroupBoxes to resize according to one another / proporitionally and fit the area they are given.
Ideas?
A tableLayoutPanel can help with this.
Add a tableLayoutPanel and size it to fit your needs.
Anchor the table to Top, Bottom, Left, and Right
Put GroupBoxA into the upper left cell of the table
Put GroupBoxB into the lower right cell of the table
For both GroupBox size them accordingly and anchor them to all 4 sides.
Now they will grow and shrink proportionately with the app.
Additionally you can add more of your controls to the table. If you need a control to span multiple rows or columns use the RowSpan/ColumnSpan property.
If your GroupBox is inside another control like a tab or something, then do as below:
In my case I had a GroupBox inside a tab and I called the below methods in the InitializeComponent() method to force the Groupbox to adjust to the tab size.
this.groupBox4.ResumeLayout(false);
this.groupBox4.PerformLayout();
this.tabPage2.ResumeLayout(false);
this.tabPage2.PerformLayout();
And If you have multiple GroupBoxes, you need set the anchoring accordingly.
I faced a similar problem, I just had used the split container for both GroupBoxes, anchored the split container at top, bottom, left an right of my main form, and both GroupBoxes too, at top, bottom, left and right of their containers.
Slightly off topic from the original question, but my issue was that my MaximumSize field of my Group Box was not set, or was too small so I could not resize the height!
Altought the question is pretty old, someone might still find it useful...
I had the same problem and found a working solution -> instead of changing the width/height of the GroupBox, change its minimum width/height in the Form's resize method
edit: fixed typo
private void Form1_Resize(object sender, EventArgs e) {
groupBox1.MinimumSize = new Size(this.Width /2, this.Height);
}

WPF, ShowGridLines equivalent for wrap panel

I need to display a 1 pixel wide border around all wrap panel cells, kinda like excel grid. Unfortunately the wrap panel does not implement the grid ShowGridLines property. I can't put a border inside every cell because adjacent cells will have a 2 pixel border instead of 1 pixel.
Since the wrap panel arranges it's layout dynamically and does not expose it's properties I can't evaluate the correct value for a border inside a cell. Any workaround possible?
There is no way to show grid lines because it's just not a grid. Even in a WPF grid control, you have very little control over the appearance of lines: How can I change the color of the gridlines of a Grid in WPF?. They're really just for debugging. The workaround is to put a border inside each cell that only has thickness on the bottom and on the right: BorderThickness="0,0,1,1"

WPF - is it possible to change the opacity of a GridColumn?

I want to have a grid of values with the headers in the left column and the databound results in the right column. When the values change, I want them to fade in. Is it possible to animate the Opacity of the right Column? Or would I have to animated the Opacity of each separate TextBlock that's in each row of the right column?
If you are talking about the standard layout Grid panel, then no, you cannot set the opacity on it.
However, the better solution is to set it on each TextBlock, anyway. That way you could provide a single style, define the opacity animation there, and then all of your TextBlocks could use that style.

adjust border on one specific side

I'm using a controlTemplate of the ListBox to show a collection.
I want to display all the items with a border like in a grid (all lines same size).
When I give every listBoxItem a border, the line between 2 items has a double size.
(made from the bottom border of the first item, and the top border of the second item)
So the question is:
Can I set/hide the border on a single side of an item? (like 'border-top' in css)
The border property is a thickness, just like margin and padding, so you can do Border="2,0,2,2" to get a border of 2 everywhere except the top.
