Does anybody know how can we get the form controls references in a web page that loaded in the CodeNameOne Web browser component?
I want to load a web page in CodeNameOne web browser component, then read or change the value of form input controls (For example TextBoxes) in the java code after pressing the submit button.

Kasra
Its not an ideal way to work and would reduce the portability of your application. You can look at the JSObject class that represents a bridge between the JavaScript and Java sides.

I'm currently building a desktop app using C# winforms. One of the requirement is to display the client's website on a form, so I've just added a webbrowser widget.
This webpage seems to "lag" a lot, all CSS or JQuery animations seems jaggy. I tried to open the page in IE and it doesn't lag that much.
Is there any option I need to pass to the webbrowser widget to make it more faithfull ? Some double buffering, or any other kind of parameters that I could use ?
I have implemented my own class for IJsDialogHandler for a WinForms desktop app. I want to display a custom dialog instead of the default dialog. The example from CefSharp GitHub site just says to return true to handle it myself, but that doesn't show me how to display my own dialog.
How do I display my dialog?
Do I need to also implement a LifeSpanHandler? I've seen some articles using it to know the browser is closing.
I am currently experimenting on a hybrid app using ReactJS for my front-end loaded inside an Android WebView. On one of the pages, I have a list that loads an external/hosted image. Tapping on these images routes to another page that shows its description (using react-router. history=hashHistory).
Testing on the browser(chrome), the images appear once loaded. On the other hand, testing on the actual device, the images does not appear. Only when I tap the list item and press back (hashHistory.goBack) that it appears.
I know this is not the best use for ReactJS, but this is better than what we are currently using. Also, our current setup prevents us from pursuing the React Native way. Any ideas?
EDIT:
here's a screen cap:
You need to change your websettings in your code.
WebSettings settings = webView.getSettings();
settings.setDomStorageEnabled(true);
I am trying for showing the content of html in web browser control. My content having encrypted value for img source. I don't what is this. That image not displaying in Webbrowser control. Also in IE browser. Normally Web browser control supports IE browser.

In WP7 you can only access and start standard WP7 applications, not any third party apps. So unless WP7 will be shipped with another browser, you can't do this.
I am working on silverlight 4 application and need to implement google maps in the same app.
Now to implement the google maps, i was planning to use WebBrowser control but when i used it i found out that it will run only in out of browser mode.
So, i decided to use another approach since i want to implement google maps inside of my application. I then used http://csharperimage.jeremylikness.com/2010/09/hosting-html-in-silverlight-not-out-of.html alternative which was having to use iframe to show web page there. It was seems to be good alternative in start. But Here comes another twist.
On top of my app, i have one top MENU for navigation, its a classic web menu, user hover over the menu item and its sub item will expand vertically.
Now just underneath the MENU i have above HTML control to display my map. Now since the HTML browser control has higher z-Index so my vertical sub menu is goes underneath the google map and hence it not visible.
And giving silverlight app higher z-Index the iframe for HTML does not show up as it goes behind the app.
So how can i get my HTML MAP and MENU both to work? If you guys have any other alternative to implement google maps then please let me know
Thanks
I would recommend using the Silverlight Bing Maps control, with the tile-source set to Google Maps. This will give you the maps you desire, via a proper Silverlight control. You can find out about how to provide a custom tile source from Google here:
