Internal Error Sql140DatabaseSchemaProvider is not valid while publishing website with SQL Server 2017 database to web server

I have a VPS web server with SQL Server 2017 Web edition (v14.0.3257.3) with the latest updates installed.
I use Visual Studio 2019 and SQL Server 2017 Express (v14.0.3257.3) with the latest updates installed to publish a website with a SQL Server database.
I get this error:
Internal Error. The database platform service with type Microsoft.Data.Tools.Schema.Sql.Sql140DatabaseSchemaProvider is not valid. You must make sure the service is loaded, or you must provide the full type name of a valid database platform service.
Two days I search for a solution on Google and Stackoverflow but I can't find anything to fix my problem.
On my development machine I installed the latest versions of SMSS and SSDT.
Who can help my in the right direction? Thanks.
I faced the exact same issue today. To resolve this, I installed DACFramwork.msi from this link.
And, instead of looking for SqlPackage.exe in the Program Files x86, I looked for the same inside C:\Program Files\Microsoft SQL Server\150\DAC\bin.
Not fully sure as to how it works, but it worked for me.

How can I download SSRS 2016 Installation File Only?

I need a file from SSRS 2016 installation without SQL server Installation setup. A separated file. where can I download That?
here I found a clue. but link not work.
any help would be greatly appreciated
I am not 100% but I believe you can no longer get 2016 from the Microsoft website however, you could use 2017, this is found here.
This is compatible with SQl Server 2008 SP4 and above.
I hope this helps.

downloading sql

i want to download sql server 2014 to my laptop,i tried many websites but couldnt find how can some one please help me?
Did you not try the Microsoft website?
You can get the free Express version here: https://www.microsoft.com/en-gb/download/details.aspx?id=42299
If you want another version you will need to either create a Microsoft account to download the Developer edition or pay lots of money to Microsoft to get the Standard or Enterprise editions.

SonarQube installation with Microsoft SQL Server 2014

I would like to set up SonarQube with Microsoft SQL Server (MSSQL). As of 05/27/2015, the requirements clearly state that SonarQube is supported with MSSQL 2008 and MSSQL 2012.
Has anyone tried setting up SonarQube with MSSQL 2014? If so, can you please let me know how it worked or did not work for you? If you are of knowledge of SonarQube's architecture, can you let me know if there are any architecture constraints that will prevent this from working?
I've been using it with MSSQL 2014 as described in the Ranger's guidance on SonarQube Installation guide. It's been working fine.

SSRS - Uninstall Trial Version of VS Business Intelligence

I want to know how to fully uninstall MSSQL 2005.
I've been using the Trial version of SQL Server Reporting Services for a while now. My company finally purchased the software from an online distributor, and for support of Oracle, we needed to upgrade to MSSQL 2005 SP2. Anyway, the "full" version of the software would not install, as it was already installed (It seems the installer doesn't recognize what was installed was the trial version). So I tried uninstalling MSSQL 2005, and everything related (including visual studio), I can not seem to get it reinstalled. The error is a vague error message, and when i click the link to get more information, the usual "no information about this error was found" error.

I actually discovered that it was a problem with the installer, when installing the "Full Version". I discovered, since the product was downloaded, instead of delivered on CD/DVD, that the installer was looking for information in a path that was not correct. There was a MS Knowledge Base article on the topic. Thanks for your reply, tho
I had the exact same problem, and this article helped me clean up all the related files from my system and do a fresh install of both Visual Studio and the SQL client components. Give it a try and let me know if it helps you out:
