Often times when i make small changes in my python or html file and upload it to Google App Engine, the changes doesn't seem to apply. I tried clearing my browser cache, and refresh, but still can't see the small change i made in my html file. How do i fix this? how do i know that the changes get uploaded?
Major changes seems to get updated just fine. But if i change a character for example, it doesn't get uploaded. I can't seem to see the change after clearing my browser cache. So, i assume it doesn't get uploaded. Anyone has experience with this?
Does the version in app.yaml match the version that's selected as default in the admin console? A mismatch would explain what you're seeing.
I had the same problem in Java with eclipse. I had to clear all my project and close eclipse, reopen it and deploy my app to appEngine..

The method of developing UserScript locally is seen here. The answerer mentioned that browser-sync can be used, but I did not find a way to achieve it.
livereload can solve this problem very well, because livereload is implemented through browser extensions and local programs. When the file changes, the target URL can be refreshed immediately.

I'm doing development work using gatsby develop. Basically, this script monitors the source code files and re-builds whenever there are changes.
When the re-build succeeds, the browser automatically refreshes and shows the newly built page.
However, when the re-build fails, the browser does nothing, and if I were to manually refresh the webpage, it still loads the last working version, leading to confusion as to why my changes are not reflected.
The only way to tell that the re-build failed is by looking at the terminal output of gatsby develop, which I often hide in order to maximize screen real estate.
Is there a way to for me to just look at the browser and code, and be able to tell that a re-build has failed? The best would be to have the errors show up in the browser, much like the javascript errors, where the re-build was successful, but the code ran into issues in the browser, i.e. TypeErrors, undefined etc.

After #gnujoow's comments, I did a quick check and realized that build failures already show up in the browser.
For some reason, my browser does not always refresh when there are build failures. Thanks #gnujoow
First time Firebase user. I've recently deployed my website on Firebase which works fine on Chrome on my laptop, however it doesn't show up when I use other browsers OR when I access it on another device even on Chrome. I found this particular article that had a similar issue (Firebase hosted website won't load (but loads locally)), tried implementing the suggested changes but still didn't work.
I use ReactJS with create-react-app, ran npm-run-build before runningfirebase deploy . I made sure the 'public' folder points to 'build' in the firebase.json file. I've attached the image of the console I get when on Opera: Console Snapshot
I've also emptied my cache as well in case it was a cache issue.

One detail to fix (can't tell if it's the issue): you are initializing Firebase two times, and with different settings each time. Keep just one, preferably using the most recent library release, and check that the project settings are the correct ones, there is also another error that says API key not valid.
After changing a file, say myfile.asp, changes to this file are not shown when you invoke the file.
To test, I have deleted the file from the web site. Effectively, when you invoke the file, web says it does not exist. Yet when you re-upload the file, it still does not show your changes.
Any help?
Ok. I kept on trying. UNTIL...
I STOPPED and STARTED the website. problem solved.

I have written a controller to take input from the form containing a list of options. The options have to be selected using checkboxes. I have successfully tested the code on my local machine. But when uploaded to the app engine, the webpage is not displaying the checkbox fields. It is not displaying the options either. I tested with 3 browsers - IE, Mozilla and Chrome and this happens everywhere. But, everything is working on fine on the browsers when running on local machine. I am quite confused as to what is going wrong.
Please help me fix this issue.

You likely need to setup static file/directory mappings in app.yaml.
You need to provide us with more details to help you debug issues. For example, if the browser doesn't display what you expect tell us what it does display. What happens if you view source? Is your HTML there?
