Is it possible to insert new card using mirror API to my APP in the Glass, and not to the main timeline? - google-mirror-api

I want to push card into my app in the Google Glass, and not to the timeline, my app in the glass contains cards with names of friends, I want to give ability to each one of the friends sending card under the friend name.
I will be happy to know if this behavior allowed, Thanks.

It depends exactly what you mean. In general, it is best not to think about specific apps when it comes to Glass, but rather to think about actions that take place using Glass. So instead of "starting" an app that shows the names of each person, we might instead think about wanting to send a note to that person and have that person be on our contact list to get a note if we wish to send them one.
Doing it this way, your Glassware needs to create and maintain contacts and register them with the TAKE_A_NOTE action. See https://developers.google.com/glass/v1/reference/contacts for more details.
It isn't clear what you are trying to do exactly, but it sounds like you might be able to use card bundles as well. Take a look at https://developers.google.com/glass/develop/mirror/static-cards#bundling_cards to see if this scheme will work for you.
If you're not doing it either of these ways - you may need to update your initial question to clarify how you are starting and running the app itself and how you picture the entire workflow.

Fetch live sports data that changes from website to Google sheets

Update:
I have found a better website for getting the data. If you press my link, you can see in the top of the screen there are multiple future games. I would like to get details about the games that BC Copenhagen plays. The details should be live stats (points, players' points...). Is this possible?
Website: https://basketligaen.dk/
I have a pretty difficult question.
I want to fetch live data from a basketball game website. However, this is very tricky, because first of all:
The live games change all the time, and I'm only interested when one team is playing: "BC Copenhagen". (However, if I get more data from different teams, that would work as well)
When you click on the list, you get moved to a detailed screen about the live game. And this is the data I'm interested in.
So I need to somehow get data from the live games. Is it even possible to do this with Excell commands, or do I need to work with APIs like Zapier or Make? However, I have no idea how to do this.
Do you maybe have to give the Link to the game every time the game starts? But this would really not be a reliable solution.
Note: I'm using this data for a Glide App
Website: https://official.mvpapp.dk/live.php
You could try IMPORTHTML, but the link provided above shows no data for me. Most likely this requires much more scripting than that. Ideally, there would be an API data feed that could be used. Again, I see no data, so I can't say for sure.
A worst case scenario would be using #google-apps-scripts to parse the listing of games, grab the game you want, and get the data from that page. That would be out of scope of a Stack Overflow question.

First guideline to create an app for price list

I'm trying to search some guidelines to create my first app for a price list. If I search on Google I find only ready system but I'd like to make something customized. My needs are to import a 3-4000 lines excel sheet for products with different measures and give to customers the possibility to make a quotation with their personal discount and place an order our make only a quotation for logged users. Instead for not logged user to see only product without prices. Then I don't know if it's better to make contents downloadable or to load all contents inside the app. I think it's better to download contents, so I can update prices directly without make them download each time an app update. Then a possibility to show some pop-up with products news, sometimes in a month. I'm yet practice with magento, WordPress and sql queries. I think The best for me is to find some kind of cms, for phone app, if they exist. Cross platform maybe the best. To understand something like wish or geek. I wait for your replies. Thank you guys!

Any recent changes in how contacts identify themselves to the Mirror API?

I'm concerned - when I take a picture, I usually (ie, last week) am able to share the image to my app.
Now, however, only Google + contacts appear as share targets. For example, if I turn off sharing to G+, I get no Share options at all, only a greyed-out Share dialog that says "Visit google.com/myglass to add friends"
However, when I go to that address I clearly see my app and a number of contacts (who aren't in G+) who also usually show up.
Has something changed to cause this behavior? For example, is the code listed in the starter-project no longer sufficient to register a share target for photos?
For example, I could imagine that suddenly the acceptTypes[] parameter was now mandatory. But I'd love to hear someone closer to the API weigh in, if possible.
Thanks!

I solved this by following Alain's comment's advice.
It's very easy to think that the "Contacts" page you see at https://glass.google.com/myglass is all there is.
But if you want your app to receive shared stuff, you have to go here: https://glass.google.com/myglass/share

Wayfinder - Pathfinder Application

I want to create wayfinder/pathfinder mobile application. it will route visitors in our buildings. we have 20 buildings and each at least have 4 floor.
We want to develop our own wayfinder ex:http://www.wayfinderkiosk.com/
It should use Lat/Long coordinates to locate the people. and help to find its route.
So where should i start. Does any one have any idea for that. and it is going to be mobile.
I can develop app/site based on these platforms ( Mobile Web/Iphone/Adroid /Symbian/Windows )
But i need a start point. and i need your help.
Thanks
You want to use lat/long inside of a building? Assuming these visitors are going to be using their own unmodified devices, you may have trouble with GPS. Unless you somehow get reliable GPS signal despite being under a four-story building, that's probably not going to work.
An RFID-tagged badge and sensors placed throughout the building seems more likely to work. Put a unique QR-code on each badge that directs the phone's browser to a tracking page for that specific badge.
edit: and now that I re-read your question and see that multiple buildings are involved, the GPS bit could certainly work for routing them from one building to another.

DNN module sugestions needed, form/reg, pyment, emailing

i need a module that is kind of a cross between a registration module and a form module.
it need to allow for custom form fields to be saved to the DB and work as part of a flow such that once data is entered by the users they click next and see the data to confirm it is correct. at this point they should have the option to edit the data if they notice an error or continue to a payment page.
the payment page needs to have a module that can integrat with payment gateways liek paypal and accept credit cards. once credit card data is entered and the transaction is complete a custom email with a unique userNumber needs to be sent to the user.
i figure im lookign at three separate modules for this typeof work flow. but i hope since this is a standard type of register, pay, email confirm operation there may be a single module i can confugure to meet my needs.
thoughts? suggestions?
Have you looked at DNM RAD by DotNet Mushroom?
http://www.dotnetmushroom.com/DNMRADGeneral/GeneralInformation/WhatisDNMRAD/tabid/2347/Default.aspx
I have not had a use for this yet, but it is a module that I have on my short list in case the need comes up. They do state that they can work with pament gateways.
Good luck.
You might have to be somewhat flexible with your work flow if you want to used 100% canned modules.
FormMaster is a pretty good form solution. You can write to existing database tables, structure SQL tables or just the default is an XML file. It doesn't go through a preview before saving though.
FormMaster Website
Searching snowcovered.com you can certainly find something that can process a payment. That one shouldn't be too difficult.
I'm thinking you may need to sling some code to get the exact experience you are looking for.
