Error while adding project - dotnetnuke

I'm trying to create a new solution with dot net nuke.
I installed the packages and configured IIS to work with it.
Then with visual studio i created a new solution. I want to import an old module already created, so i copied/pasted the folder in "DesktopModules".
Then with VS i right click on the solution and selects add existing project.
This way i get an error:
The web application project "name" is configured to use IIS. The web server "http://dnndev.me/desktopmodules/name" is not found.

It's probably because the corresponding projet is configured to use a web server depending on the URL you've got.
I suggest you to edit the project file with notepad (csproj or vbproj) and to remove the specified URL configuration. You also have to set the UseIIS value to false.
Note that this configuration could be stored in the users project file (.vbproj.user or .csproj.user).
Then, try again to add this project to your solution.

Getting Error while adding File System ISE Logic App Connector

I have created an ISE Logic Apps environment, and am trying to add the FileSystem ISE connector to the Managed connectors list, as it does not appear in my default list. When I click on '+Add', I can see the File System connector in the drop down that comes up, but when I select it & click on 'Create', I get the following error:

The ISE File System connector is available. The ISE File System connector will not be automatically added to the ISE, you will need to manually add it yourself. Our engineers are working on getting that automatically added with new ISE deployments.
Here are steps from the document to add it manually to the ISE :
On your ISE menu, under Settings, select Managed connectors. On the toolbar, select Add.
On the Add a new managed connector pane, open the Find connector list. Select the ISE connector that you want to use but isn't yet deployed in your ISE. Select Create.
Only ISE connectors that are eligible but not yet deployed to your ISE appear available for you to select. Connectors that are already deployed in your ISE appear unavailable for selection.
Checkout this GitHub issue as well for details.
File system connectors is not yet available in ISE. You can use the shared connector (With gateway) in a Logic app in ISE till it is available.
It is on-premises data gateway. Yes there is already a work items for this and it is in progress and will be there in near future but this timeline is subject to change. As far as new features go, we are not able to disclose much at this time.
Also you could vote up this feedback to promote this feature to be achieved quickly.
I am having problems with the ISE Create File (Preview).
I have an API Connection defined with the Root Folder setting using dot notation, e.g. 192.168.1.23, because there is a DNS issue with hybrid cloud-on-prem lookup, or so I am told.
The Logic App portal editor in Designer mode behaves strangely when configuring the folder path in the Create File action. When using the pop-out folder picker I see "The use name or password is incorrect".
I have made sure that the credentials are correct and have tested successfully via other means.
Is there a work around?
Is this a known issue?

Visual Studio Code - Type Script - Unable to load tsconfig.json and packages.json schemas

I'm working on an Angular front end in Visual Studio Code for an app with a C# windows service back end. After spending a few days on the back end without touching the front end, I found that Visual Studio Code would no longer automatically recompile my typescript code every time I saved. Instead, I would have to ctrl+c out of the process and run "npm start" again.
I ensured that compileOnSave was set to true in my tsconfig.json. In doing so, I notice a warning:
Problems loading reference 'http://json.schemastore.org/tsconfig': Unable to load schema from 'http://json.schemastore.org/tsconfig': Unable to to connect to http://json.schemastore.org/tsconfig. Error: getaddrinfo ENOTFOUND json.schemastore.org json.schemastore.org:80
I noticed a similar warning for packages.json. I'm able to load the schema on the links on Google Chrome.
What could be a possible fix? Could I download the schema and load it in Visual Studio Code manually?
For me it wasn't the proxy blocking, but trusted domain list in VSCode.
Go to "Manage trusted domains" on Command Palette and add required url. Here we can add "http://json.schemastore.org"
This is whitelist for VSCode, as a security feature, stopping it running code from anywhere from internet.
Update:
Seems a network issue for me. When I set Http: proxy correctly it disappeared and json schema works well.
Go to "Settings" > "JSON" > "Schema Download" and disabled it.
That's worked for me.
The solution, as pointed out by #Matt Bierner in the comment above, is to set the "$schema" key to direct to a local schema file (which can be downloaded from the address in the error).
The problem seems to be caused by a web proxy. Why it showed up now is still unknown.
just follow these simple steps
click on the Settings icon at the bottom left of your vscode
search for JSON
you should see the schema download, it should be enabled
just turn it off
This worked for me.

CakePHP project migration to different server

I am trying to move a cakePHP project I completed a few months ago from a server (a friend's server) to my own web server.
I have set up a database and changed the database config file to match my database/login credentials.
when I navigate to http://babbage.cs.missouri.edu/~jam2z9/muve/index.php you see it looks as if it is a brand new project. When I go to just /muve instead of index.php it says I'm missing a ~jam2z9Controller file but I don't see any files from the old server that are like this to edit and change to ~jam2z9.
I feel like this should be a very simple transition once I hook up the database credentials but I'm just confused as to what my issue is?
All of the database tables in my new database are blank as I just imported the .sql file into phpMyAdmin. It all seems to be connecting fine but it will not go to the home page just the aforementioned generic cakephp screen?
In your bootstrap.php add the following line:
Configure::write('App.base', '/~jam2z9/');
This is because as far as Cake sees it you are hosting it in a sub-sub directory.
Edit: There are more details about not being able to use mod_rewrite here

Recess framework stops me editing any files

I have installed Recess and created an app. However I cannot do anything with the files the app created, I can not edit, delete, move the files. When I try and delete i get a FTP error of 550. Any other files on the server I can modify any way I like.
I have found the user has been set to apache I can manually change this but why does it set this as the owner to start with?
It seems that you're running Apache with that user, therefore, when a www app creates something, it will create it with "apache" user. Send more details.

dotnetnuke 5.5 critical error on pressing settings on every module of the site

my site was hosted on one server . everything was working fine. After moving to another server . click on the settings of every module on the site give critical error object reference not set to instance of an object. what could be wrong? i am using dotnetnuke 5.5
Moving the files you skip the Install/Setup step where the install wizard checks your folder permissions. Start there, check that first: Setting Security Permissions
