Yesterday i restarted my remote computer only to find that i could no longer connect to it through ssh. I can connect to the computer if I'm using the computer, but when i try to on my other computer it does not work. I have tried reinstalling it but i have had no luck. Whenever i try to connect to it through a different computer, its "Connection timed out". I have also checked ssh status and it says it is running.
Also, I am kind of a beginner to this so if my terminology is off feel free to correct me.
I don't know what i should do. Any help and all help is appreciated!

Check if the firewall is blocking port 22.
maybe some changes have been made and got applied only when you restarted the machine.
Have a look at the output of
iptables -L | grep ssh
and see if there is any info

I work on a mac OS with VPN enabled. It blocks access to localhost. So when I run a live server or a React application, I get an error ERR_CONNECTION_TIMED_OUT
Please avoid the advice like disabling the VPN. I'm asking for an explanation if somehow on mac os and using NordVPN I can add localhost to exceptions and allow access.
Thank you very much for the answers.
Running live server or React app gives error in browser ERR_CONNECTION_TIMED_OUT
In my understanding. Localhost refer to YOUR computer and having an active VPN does not change that.
Maybe your react app try to access ressources that aren't local

I know how to do it to a remote server, it would be like:
telnet www.esqsoft.globalservers.com 80
But I don't know to a local server (written in C).
Simply substitute the hostname into the url, for example for a computer on your network with the hostname "LivingRoom", use the command
telnet LivingRoom 80.
For a server on own computer, simply use telnet localhost 80.

You need to run the VNC server on the target laptop in order to access it with the client laptop.

Initially I wanted to uninstall PSQL from my system and switch to postgres app, version 9.2.
Followed this guide closely, but still have problems with postgresql being active on my system.
psql gives me
psql: could not connect to server: No such file or directory
Is the server running locally and accepting
connections on Unix domain socket "/var/pgsql_socket/.s.PGSQL.5432"?
When I got to
rm /usr/bin/psql
I get
override rwxr-xr-x root/wheel compressed for /usr/bin/psql?
Since this is out of my competencies, and I have no idea what it does, I am asking you guys.
The files in /usr/bin are a part of your operating system, and among the numerous suppliers of PostgreSQL installers or packages for Mac OS X, I think none of them ever suggests to delete /usr/bin/psql.
In fact there are quite a few more files that you would delete, should you want to wipe out the PostgreSQL client layer as shipped by Apple. And when you'll upgrade that system to 10.8.X+1 or whatever, the Apple installer may well put them back again with newer versions.
If you're in uncharted territory when playing admin with your operating system, it's better to just follow the procedure suggested on postgres.app, which boils down to changing your program's search path, so that their psql and other tools (pg_dump, pg_restore,...) come first.

We have one user account on the remote server. When computer A initiates a remote session, then disconnects from it, and computer B initiates a remote connection, computer B is being connected to the A's session.
How can I make sure that only the same device can reconnect to its remote session?
If it's a single user account I don't think you can. You need to make sure that they log off instead of disconnecting, then they can start a new session with the right account.
See here for more info.
