i use Windows 8 and JDeveloper 11.1.2.4.0 with Oracle ADF Mobile. The problem i am facing is that when ever i open 'Preview' of my Application UI, it gives me Error and whole Jdeveloper becomes hanged. The error box shows nothing just title Unexpected Error
Searching online, i got to know that it's a bug and many people are facing it.
Does anyone know any way to fix this please ?

I'm working on JDeveloper 12.1.3
Suddenly it stopped rendering the pages is design mode and the the error as show in the attached image (JSFF page)
It also hangs all of the JDeveloper while typing codes in Source mode, I should END TASK
This is happening in just one project, not all projects on same JDeveloper App
Any idea

Regarding to hanging could you have a look at log->Messages and tell us what it shows.
you can also try
- reformatting your jsff source.
- clear .data and classes folders from your application.

I removed the .data folder and restart the Jdeveloper again, but without any change.
I disabled the auditing roles for Application development framework ADF, and that works fine.
Regarding to design rendering:
I'm using GIT to handle versioning of the project and ignoring .data
I did a new clone and that works fine also.
I downloaded a free template for my Joomla website in localhost. I installed the template in the extensions. When i view it in site, i am getting the following error.
GANTRY_BOOTSTRAP_CANT_FIND_LIBRARY
I do not know how to solve it? Is there any one who come across this issue can help me..
Generally this means you tried to upgrade Gantry and it encountered a problem while running the upgrade which broke it. Generally I have seen this when there is a file/folder permission issue. Check permissions and re-install gantry framework. http://gantry.org/downloads
i encountered this strange error when i tried to move my lightswitch project from my work laptop to another exact pc everything was working fine .. both laptops have the same specs suddenly i have this error showing when i run my application
i am using the xtraReport Extinsion to do some reports in the application .. what might be the problem ..
i have searched for it and found nothing some people told me its because of silverlight 5, but its installed also in my other laptop and everything is working fine

I'm developing a SL4 OOB application that has suddenly started giving me the white screen of death.
If I try to run it 'in-browser' and check the console I can see the error 2105 : 'Failed to load pre-requisites for the application' but there's very little info about it anywhere.
None of my breakpoints get hit. Even starting the app with F11 (step into) doesn't get me anywhere.
I can run other Silverlight projects just fine so it's not the runtime. I've even copied the source into another project to see if that might help but to no avail.
Does anyone have any ideas how I might get started fixing this?
I have seen this myself and it was a pain..
What I had to do was a system restore, de-installed all traces of Silverlight and Blend and then reinstalled them all. However I had also just installed Silverlight 5 RC which didn't play nicely with Telerik and might have been the problem.

Damn it, I hate answering my own questions but the problem was quite obscure.
Somehow, I managed to get a regular .Net reference in my Silverlight project through a Nuget package. That was it.

I have been developing a WPF application and this morning a test user reported a strange bug in the UI.
All of a sudden in only this application it has replaced all of the text with blocks (see image below)
I have tried restoring the application, uninstalling it off the machine and then reinstalling it - but no luck.
Anyone have an idea what could be causing the problem? The program works fine on everyone else's machines (he is using Windows XP SP3)
This probably suggests a font that the app is using is missing, or corrupted, on that system.
