Sencha app packaging to desktop application - extjs

I developed a sencha app and ported it to IOS and Android successfully.I need to build a desktop application from the same.I used sencha's packager and it was a success.Unfortunately it was a trial version.
I used Tide SDK but the sencha list UI is not perfect on scrolling. And store data is not getting sometime.
Can anyone suggest other opensource packagers to make my sencha app to desktop application.
Pls help me.I was looking this for long time.
Thanks in advance.

you can try intel's node-webkit, it is one of the other tools that people are switching to. it's open source.

Absolutely, try out Brackets shell. We use that to create desktop apps on Mac and Windows. The wiki explains how to build your apps nice and simple

How to do react project from the cloud with cross platform workstations?

I am rather new to several of the technologies involved here but here is the scenario:
I have a Windows PC at home, a PC laptop and an iPad Pro. I have a React project that I am working on and would like to be able to do so from anywhere. I dont have any kind of VPN solution available, and a usb stick is mostly out for the iPad, so I was wanting to use Google Drive (or as a last resort iCloud) to store the project. Also I do not wish to use github for a number of reasons.
Can anyone outline the best way to work on a React project (With NodeJS) in a cloud based storage and further how to run / deploy it from the iPad station? Thank you!
I Think you have to use a git repository (github, gitlab or bitbucket works great), and all your machines should have the tools pre-installed (node, code editor).
If you want to code without any tool, I recommend https://codesandbox.io, it works great with small/medium projects. One of it's downside is that your projects will be public on the internet.

Using the Correct Windows Build Type

I am trying to create a Windows mobile build for the Windows Appstore. I cannot find any tutorials or documentation for Codename One Windows mobile only release. My main question is which build type should I choose in the Codename One Windows Preferences? Will the Mobile Debug Build work for me?
There is a long discussion about the various build targets for UWP in the developer guide https://www.codenameone.com/manual/appendix-uwp.html

Automation for testing desktop application with chromium,WPF,awesomium

We have a desktop application developed with below technologies
WPF,
Chromium,
awesomium controls
Can anyone suggest me any tool for automating this application
We tried all popular tools in market but no luck.
Let me know if anyone have worked on these application or please provide any suggestions
I had similar application to test. I used UIA for WinForm and WPF.
After a lot of research, For Chromium interface, since it's not UIA implementation and browser embedded UI and since the code for web browser and desktop is same. I preferred testing that module in web browser than desktop.
The only other way I found is by using Sikuli. Since it is based on images, I couldn't rely on it.
You can use Ranorex studio, there inside plugin sections you can configure CEF settings as well as WPF settings.

Using IDTech UniPay Card Reader with Cordova/PhoneGap

After installing this plugin: https://github.com/TranWare/cordova-plugins which should work with this device: http://www.idtechproducts.com/products/mobile-readers/176.html
I am trying to use it but when I called it "IDTech is not defined" even I saw the plugin running on debug mode!
Are you developing for Android or iOS (or both)?
Looking at the source of this plugin, its Android only. Unfortunately, it looks like nobody has written a proper Cordova plugin for the IDTech card reader that supports both platforms :(
I did find another plugin, but this one is iOS only: https://github.com/deboorn/iMag-Cordova-Plugin. Maybe give that one a shot instead?
I should note I've not tried either of these plugins personally, but I am doing some research in adding support for this device in a Cordova app I've built and came across that plugin (and your post). Best of luck!

The Best tool for building Sencha (Ext JS) applications are?

I started working on Ext JS, but the building process has always been a headache to me as I always used notepad..
Can you suggest some tools which help me build the Ext JS applications easily....
Initial GUI Setup (if you're feeling lazy!)
Ext Designer
IDE for further development
Aptana Studio or CodeRun (online) or eCoder (online)
Bug testing during development
Firebug
Debugging the final layer of polish
YSlow for Firebug
I'm usually a fan of Eclipse, but Check out PHPStorm, it has better colouring, works well with libraries and does refactoring.
Try Aptana Studio + Firebug. Plus a handset of each type you intend to code for.
Also, see this link for an answer to a similar question:
"Debugging" ExtJS script
TextMate? It's really a matter of personal preference.
I recommend Textpad - I've been using it for 12 years now.
Spket IDE is powerful toolkit for working with JavaScript Framework like extjs.
You can also use Eclipse and Spket plugin for developing better javascript code. Visist http://www.spket.com/ for more details.
