I am integrating phpList into my website. I initialized database.
I was able to integrate my website with phpList.
In admin panel whenever i try to do anything like delete member from subscriber list or change any setting for subscriber page. I am getting this error "The requested URL /index.php was not found on this server."
I know that this is the problem of path.
When user receives email it says to confirm click on this.
http://admin.ridesharebuddy.com/lists/?p=preferences&uid=TOKEN
When user clicks on this, it displays error page not found.
Because path should be something like this.
http://admin.ridesharebuddy.com/rideshare/lists/?p=preferences&uid=TOKEN
How can i change this path ?
So from what I see, you have 2 issues:
Firstly:
index.php is not being found.
This is generally because of a) an upload error, or b) missing directory traversals within the script (../../ etc..)
What we need to know is why index.php is not found, and why it is being called when you try to make a change
Secondly:
The link generated when the email is sent, is incorrect. This will just be a case of finding where the link is generated, and modifying it to generate a correct code.
If you could update the post with source for the files, then I may be able to help you further.
If you feel you can't do the above, then I suggest using a different, more mature (and better coded), mailing script for your site.

I installed dnn version 9. When I want to add a new page I go to the contents-> Pages-> Add page. an empty white page appears without any options to add a new page or event to cancel.
This is caused by a problem with your templates folder, either missing, or bad permissions. I'm guessing when you installed you chose the blank template?
I've got a blog post on things to try to resolve
http://www.chrishammond.com/Blog/itemId/2692/Canrsquot-add-ldquopagesrdquo-in-DNN9
"If you are having problems adding Pages in DNN 9, read this blog post.
I recently upgraded all of my sites to DNN 9, the most recent one being upgraded last night. This morning I wake up to an email from a client of mine reporting a problem with adding pages in one of their sites that they also upgraded to DNN recently. I read through their email, and decide that I’ll look into their issue a bit later, have an itch to scratch on one of my own websites, so I’ll get to them later (sorry client).
Working on this site that I upgrade last night, I decided I wanted to add another page to the site, low and behold, I was unable to do so.
To add a page in DNN9 you click on the “Content” option in the persona bar, and then the Pages option. There you will be presented with a view similar to this:
image
When I clicked on Add Page there, the screen went blank, like so:
image
That’s not very useful, actually that is as far from useful as possible. Once that happens, you can’t actually “do” anything from an Admin perspective. You have to “leave” this page, go somewhere else (click on manage/users for example, then you might need to click BACK in your browser a bunch of times) then you can click on Content/Pages again to get back into the Page listing for a site.
So why is the persona bar page blank? This error is the cause:
GET https://SOMEPORTALALIASHERE/API/PersonaBar/Pages/GetDefaultSettings? 500 (Internal Server Error)
If you dig into the DNN Error Log (Admin Logs) a bit you might find a more detailed error, something along the lines of
Message:Value cannot be null. Parameter name: source
StackTrace:
at System.Linq.Enumerable.FirstOrDefault[TSource](IEnumerable1 source, Func2 predicate) at Dnn.PersonaBar.Pages.Components.TemplateController.GetDefaultTemplateId(IEnumerable`1 templates) at Dnn.PersonaBar.Pages.Components.PagesControllerImpl.GetDefaultSettings() at Dnn.PersonaBar.Pages.Services.PagesController.GetDefaultSettings() at lambda_method(Closure , Object , Object[] ) at
So what does that message tell you? Well something is happening with your DNN Install trying to get a list of “page templates”. In digging further, on my site, I found the issue to be the File Permissions on the Templates folder in the portals/0/ directory. For some reason on the site that I upgraded last night, my permissions were set to ALL USERS DENY on the “Browse Files in Folder” and “Open Files in Folder” check boxes.
image
Unchecking those, clicking SAVE resolved my “pages” persona bar issues. How did those permissions get set? Who knows, this DNN site has been around since 2008 or earlier, and that never caused a problem.
There are definitely some “kinks” to be worked out of DNN9, but so far I am digging the new experience.
Regarding my “client”’s site, they had a similar, but different issue. In their case, the TEMPLATES folder didn’t exist in the Portal that they were trying to use. Simply creating a new Templates folder in their File Manager fixed that problem for their site."
I tried out many solutions but finally I figure it out by reinstalling and add Object Qualifier. because it is optional field I leave it without any value in my first installation
This error was fixed in DNN 9.0.1
Somehow my DNN has a broken path a particular url serves pages, but doesn't work for delete or advanced options (delivers a 404 error)
The taburls table has no entries for this tab.
If I change the url through the tabs table then I'm able to delete the page without issue.
I tried accessing the page options via tabid, but the tabid gets converted to the friendly name and then 404s.
I tried turning off friendly urls in my web.config but I may have done it wrong since the entire site would not load (yellowscreen of death)
I'm wondering where DNN is storing this path that is breaking the advanced options of whatever page is at the path.
How do I fix this url so it displays page options and lets me delete pages?
First thing I would try is going to the Admin/Page Management screen, can you make the changes you need to via that interface? If so, after making the changes, are you able to access the page and all the features/options correctly?
If that doesn't work, check the TabPath column in the TABS table to see if there are any bad paths in there for specific pages that you are having problems with.
I have only one page in adf application, the page is called result.jspx. My requirement is - the url needs to be invoked like http://example.com/ADF_View_Test-ViewController-context-root/faces/result.jspx but when I create ear and deploy it in the weblogic server it is displaying like http://example.com/ADF_View_Test-ViewController-context-root in the url. I am unable to get faces and jspx page. please let me know how to add in the url.
Regards
Santosh
Check the contents of your EAR archive, see if result.jspx is part of it.
If is not, try to recreate deployment profile.
You can always stick an index.html file at the root that does a redirect to where you need it to go.
For example - https://blogs.oracle.com/shay/entry/shorter_url_for_your_adf
We currently are running DotNetNuke 4.0.6. On the portals there are links that we have created to access files located on fileshares. When we set them up and save the page, then when we click that link nothing happens.
I have currently set the link up like this:
Link Type - URL
Protocol - Other
URL - file://///myfileshare/filesharename/folder1/folder2/myitem.pdf
If I select anything else (http, https, ftp) it doesn't work. When I mouse over the link it looks to be rendering correctly.
Can anyone help with why this may be happening? Am I missing a setting or selecting the wrong item?
The text in the editor is this:

There are a few items that you want to remember here.
Users need to have access to that share, so it is possible that could be your issue
It looks like you have a few extra //'s in your link. Should be file://, might need to switch to HTML view in the editor to modify.
I am looking for some initial direction on this one because I cannot seem to find my way with it. Let me explain...
I am developing a website wherein a logged in site member (Joomla 1.6) can fill out a simple form and attach a pdf to be uploaded upon submission. The user then clicks the submit button and the page will refresh to a new and unique web page.
User Submits data on http://www.examplesite.com and then after submission a new web page is generated that is called http://www.examplesite.com/userSubmittedValue
This newly generated web page would come from a template that is specified by the administrator and, most important, it will display all of the information that the user submitted. Also, there would be a link to download the pdf they uploaded. The user could then view a list of all the pages they have created in this manner via their profile.
I have seen this all over, but I am at a loss for how to generate this. Any help is much appreciated.
This is not something you will be able to easily do or get a detailed answer for here. If you just wanted to do the submission form with a thank you page that shows the data submitted you could use any number of form wizard type extensions - http://extensions.joomla.org/extensions/contacts-and-feedback/forms
If you just needed a way for users to upload PDfs and have access to them you could use one of the file management extensions that offer front end upload features - http://extensions.joomla.org/extensions/directory-a-documentation/downloads
If the additional data that is being submitted is simply data related to the file - title, description, etc then one of the file download components should work fine for you. The choices are limited in 1.6 at this time though so you might have to go with 1.5 to get the extension that works best for your needs.
So this probably isn't the best way to do it if your using Joomla but it just might help.
I would use PHP and inside of you're directory have a file like "template.html". Then I would create some php to handle the task of....
Opening "template.html"
Finding and replacing the values that the user passed you
Save the "template.html" under a new name (userSubmittedValue.html)
Again, I never really use Joomla. If you were to try this I'd suggest checking out php's file system functions (http://us2.php.net/manual/en/ref.filesystem.php).
Hope this helps a bit.
