We are having Silverlight application which shows live data from the service onto the client.
Over a period of time we see that application gets hung and on refresh the IE crashes with with the error message saying internet has stopped working.\
On taking the dump and analyzing it using debugdiag we found that the callstack of it shows,

We are not able to analyze this any further as it does not give a meaningful analysis.
What is npctrl.dll and why it? Why is it giving ComAutomationCheckCrossApartmentAccess error?

I am using FaspManager as an embedded client in my Java application. My program works fine when I am sending just a single file. When I am trying to send multiple files (each having its own session & jobId) they are starting well and progressing for some time. However, after several minutes when one or two of the transfers complete, rest all of the transfers are stopping without completing.
In the aspera log I can see below messages:

I have not been able to find out who/how a cancel request has been sent. I have tried searching in Google for possible cause but have not been able to resolve it yet. So, I will really appreciate any help on this.

The cancel sent message in Session is called if the user specifically calls FaspManager#cancelTransfer(String sessionId), or FaspManager#stop(), or if an error occurs while reading an input stream in FileTransferSession#addSource(StreamReader, String).
I'd guess you're calling stop on the FaspManager after the first session finishes, but I'd need a more complete log, or a snippet of your code to see.
I have decided to learn ReactiveUI after seeing what can be done with it, but my enthusiasm has been broken at the first attempt to run a simple project. I have recreated the example from this article, using reactiveui-winforms.Net40 version 6.5.0 from NuGet. Everything compiles ok, but i get an exception during runtime at the following line

This exception is caused because RxUI always tries to initialize for WPF, even though (because you're also using the winforms package) it'll override this setting with a Winforms-based scheduler right after.
It should be harmless though, as it's catched and ignored. You're probably hitting it within VS ?
I am using Netbeans and updated to use the latest codenameone plugin. You need to select a package when you do this and not the top level project since the code won't recognize that situation and won't know where to place the GUI file.
Notice that since an XML GUI file is created in the background, refactoring after the fact won't work well so this isn't something we should generally fix.

I am working on a java-based GAE web application and now and then I get ApiProxy.ApplicationExceptions.
In the current case they appear randomly and come with the applicationError 108 when I open a write channel to a blob using the (yes I know, still experimental) FileStore API. Although the API is still in an experimental state, I'd like to handle the thrown exception correctly. Thus my question:
Where can I find a list of possible application errors including their descriptions?

That's the only thing that it shows. The other node in the cluster is still active at this time. There's nothing to do but to restart. The large amount of logs has caused disk space issues more than a couple of times too.

Appears to be a bug in Tomcat 6. If you look at the source at:

you'll see that the reset() method can potentially throw this exception. I suggest that you contact the Tomcat developers regarding this issue.
