IBM Worklight - App only starts once; gives error after saying Failed to load webpage - angularjs

I created an iphone app in IBM Worklight using Angularjs, generated by yeoman. Everything works fine in the simulator, but when I deploy to my physical device, the app will open only once. Using the iphone configuration utility, the error reported merely says Failed to load webpage at that url.
I do not understand why it would only work one time.

It don't think this has got anything to do with angularjs and/or yeoman.
It sounds like you've changed the HTML filename in the common folder and the mainFile value in application-descriptor.xml. Changing the mainFile value used to cause a bug after launching the app a second time - it wouldn't find the resource, the HTML file.
If you indeed did the above, try the following:
Rename the application folder name to match the renaming you've done above
update the ID attribute of the application element in application-descriptor.xml to match as well
Make sure to delete the native folder
Re-build and deploy the app
This should now make the app launch a second, third, ... time as well.
Fixed in the upcoming Worklight 6.1.0.

Tapping the deep link always redirects to the App Store

I implemented Appsflyer OneLink with my cordova(Ionic)application and for android everything works fine.
In iOS, when i run the application directly to the device from Xcode and when i click on a link it opens the application.
But i uploaded the ipa file to Hockeyapp and then downloaded the application and installed and then again i clicked on the link but it redirects to the appstore.
i have added associated domains as well as i doubled checked the team ID as well as other configurations(Universal Links) and they all are according to the documentation.
Any idea about the issue that i am facing here?
If the application does not open as a result of clicking the deep-link in a "Universal Links" scenario, it could be one of the following issues:
When releasing to HockyApp some credentials that are used by the Universal Link are broken - it could be the Bundle ID or the Development Team Prefix.
You can check the credentials available on https://your-defined-subdomain.onelink.me/apple-app-site-associations and compare them to the entitlements set in the HockyApp build.
There is a known "development bug" with Universal Link, which sometimes forces an uninstall of any previous version of the Application, in order for the Universal Link to function properly.
If the issue still persists, you can always open a support ticket with support#appsflyer.com and share more information that could help with debugging this.

ionic mobile app gives white screen

I have created one ionic app it runs perfectly fine in browser but when I convert it into app it gives white screen.
I have already install white list plugin and allowed all url in config and also have kept meta tag. Am not able to find any other solution.
When kept simple html file am able to view it.
Any help will be grateful.May be good way to debug will be also good.
Connect your phone to PC with USB cable and remember to keep USB Debugging On. Now, navigate to chrome://inspect. You'll find the device name and click on "inspect". On Console tab, the error list will give you a hint about what is wrong there.
In my case, a custom service was Injected in controller which had been removed at some time as It was not used anywhere.
Ok just answering this question so it will be helpful to all.
Below blog was helpful for me that how I can debug
http://gonehybrid.com/how-to-debug-the-white-screen-of-death-in-your-ionic-app/
And guess what was issue, folder name in app is case sensitive. I was just need to change a folder name as per exact case sensitive path I provide in index file.
Mostly such thing occures because of a javascript error. You say it runs in your browser. Are there some exception in the console?
Not everythings is equal between browser and device, for example plugins. You have to be sure, that all used plugins are installed properly.
If you deploy on android, you can use android monitor to get console output. On ios xcode has already an integrated debugger.
I had this horrible issue because I compiled my Android application with Cordova 6.x and the project worked with CrossWalk plugin. In my case, the solution was uninstalling Crosswalk. If your project has installed that plugin, try to uninstall it and compile your project again.

Running AngularJS app in WebStorm

Its been about a month since I started using AngularJS. I used to write my codes in SublimeText2 but i wanted to use WebStorm since it claimed to be more AngularJS friendly. I wrote a simple Hello World app and tried to run it but i couldn't get any hint of how to do it. I also don't have any knowledge about Node.js.Do i need Node.js to run app on WebStorm? Is Node.js a server? I tried going through tutorials on WebStorm page and also read few articles on Node.js but couldn't understand it. Can anyone explain it in a simple and understandable way?
You can open your HTML+JS application in the selected browser in WebStorm by clicking on the browser icon on the top right corner of the editor tab with index.html file opened (or any other html file you'd like to open in browser).
The same action could be done from the file context menu: Open in - Browser.
WebStorm will automatically start built-in web server for your convenience.
Note that you still can go to your project folder and execute your particular HTML file from there, the same way you would do it with the text editor.
Read more on working with AngularJS in WebStorm in this blog post.
If you have back-end in Node.js for your app, then you, of course, need Node.js installed. To run your node web app you need to create Node.js run configuration. More on it here.

Custom fonts not getting uploaded in Openshift server

I have developed an application which uses custom CSS3 fonts. But somehow custom fonts are not getting uploaded in the server. My application URL is http://techcurt-kshitiz.rhcloud.com and when I try to access custom font like http://techcurt-kshitiz.rhcloud.com/resources/css/LindenHill-webfont.eot, The requested resource is not available appears. Custom fonts are working fine in my local machine in every browser.
I have recreated my application but still the problem persists. I have been using Openshift since an year but never faced such issue. What can be the possible reason for it? Even .less file is not getting uploaded. I am using tomcat 6 server in Openshift. I am not able to find out any solution in Google.
Do you see the files on disk when you SSH to the gear?
Are the files checked into Git? It's possible that they are being ignored by git, and hence not uploaded. You can check that the file is in git with "git show master:" - if ignored it won't show up.
Otherwise, it could be something in your build - perhaps the files are getting deleted?
Finally my issue is solved by servlet-mapping .ttf and .eot files in my web.xml files. But I am not able to understand how come my application was running in local machine but not in server? How come thats possible?

SmartGWT - Appengine - 404 not found

Im using smartGWT v2.1 with GWT 2 and Appengine SDK 1.3.0
On localhost, everything works fine!
When I deploy everything goes fine too, without any error!
The problem is, when i access the the app it returns an blank screen. Using the firebug i saw just nocache.js missing.
ErrorLog:
GET mika.nocache.js
http://perfworker.appspot.com/Mika/mika.nocache.js
404 Not Found
perfworker.appspot.com
Just to know, the last version of smartGWT should work on AppEngine out of the box?
Thanks in advance!
Cleber
I'm going to guess you're developing on Windows. NTFS, unlike nearly every other filesystem, is case-insensitive, so it'll work fine if your file or directory has one capitalization and you're accessing it with another. On every other platform, however, including the one App Engine runs on, capitalization matters: Check that you're using the same capitalization to access the file as is used to name the file.
Btw, this not only applies to SmartGwt, but to any GWT app. I would have voted on the answer above, but I don't have enough rep points yet [new user]. Changing the casing of the link in the base html page worked for me.
