I have below requirement:
I wanted to create a custom control in which developer should be able to access below three properties.
Label:
IsRequired
content.
Example 1:
Name(Label): TextBox/any input control(Content)
Example 2:
Name(Label)*(IsRequired): TextBox/any input control(Content)
Developer should be able to apply globalization to the Label
If the field is required then he should be able to set a property
to enable * symbol
Developer should be able set any input control as a content of the control.
I request your suggestions, if you send me a sample code that would be good for me.
This demo doesn't seem latest but should be a good start. Googling around a bit more with the keywords found in the demo will also yield some relevant results.

RadSyntaxControl is newly created control from Telerik and has a feature for InteliPrompts but in every sample, I found out the user must manually populate CompletionInfoCollection, as you can see in this example.
CompletionInfoCollection completionList = new CompletionInfoCollection()
{
new CompletionInfo("Achitect", "A software developer expert.", Image.FromFile(#"../../SyntaxEditor/ Achitect.png")),
};
this.radSyntaxEditor1.SyntaxEditorElement.IntelliPrompts.CompletionListWindow.Presenter.CompletionListItems = completionList;
It is ok if there are just a few items for autocomplete but what in a case if I want to autocomplete for language like C#. Telerik has a syntax highlight for C#, but I cannot find a way to populate IntelliPromts with data in that manner.
The sample code is from Telerik Blogs
Thank you :)
Nenad,
As you have already found out, RadSyntaxEditor uses a CompletionInfoCollection to define intelliprompts which aim to speed up coding by reducing typos and other common mistakes. It is just necessary to define a separate CompletionInfo for each item that you want in the completion list window. It is up to you what list to be displayed and how you will get this information. This job is not intended to be done by the RadSyntaxEditor control. Additional information is available in the following help article: https://docs.telerik.com/devtools/winforms/controls/syntax-editor/features/intelliprompts
I have researched in the forums and since the English version of IntelliSense files are embedded in Visual Studio, I have found the following MSDN article which offers different language packs for the IntelliSense. Hence, you can at least use it to investigate what are the keywords and replace the translation according to your needs: https://learn.microsoft.com/en-us/dotnet/core/install/localized-intellisense
I hope this information helps.
I have problem with custom placeholder. I am using this https://github.com/mareczek/international-phone-number I want to add more ex. E.g. 131123456789 to my place holder which default gave something like this 131123456789. I read the document they use customPlaceholder to custom place holder, but they do not have any example with angularjs, so could someone show me example code with custom place holder like this.
Here my code that I added to my app
app.config([
'$stateProvider',
ipnConfig,
register_form_state
])->ipnConfig.customPlaceholder = 'E.g. 131123456789'
but it doesn't work for me.
This will solve this problem

On selection of country, placeholder will change
The documentation for http://hodgepodgers.github.io/ng-intl-tel-input/ is lacking, but it seems like it could be a good tool. I think I would personally like to see a working implementation inside of an existing application before I'd rule it as the solution to use. I'm still having trouble implementing this one compared to the one by mareczek.
edit To answer your question, I think that it changes the placeholder based on the flag you have selected. If you have it set to a default country, can you not just change the placeholder in the html? Or can you target it directly using css?
I'm trying to run a coded UI test on our application. I can record the actions OK, but when attempting to playback, I get
Microsoft.VisualStudio.TestTools.UITest.Extension.UITestControlNotFoundException:
The playback failed to find the control with the given search properties.
Additional Details:
TechnologyName: 'UIA'
FrameworkId: 'Wpf'
ControlType: 'MenuItem'
AutomationId: 'MenuItemConnectId'
When I run Snoop on the application, I see the AutomationId exists
The one odd thing about our application is a lot of the ID's are added with code behind
menuItem.SetValue(AutomationProperties.AutomationIdProperty, "MenuItemConnnectId");
menuItem.SetValue(AutomationProperties.NameProperty, "MenuItemConnect");
Any ideas why this may be failing?
Thanks.
I think there are two reasons:
1.Maybe the component can't find the property.You can see the details in the xxx.Designer.cs file.
In the method SearchProperies[].....
2.The road to search the component is broken.You can see the details in the UI control map.Maybe the the component's parent is wrong.In this situation,you can add the code to connect them.
Turns out I needed the title of the window to be set. Even though I had the Automated ID and name properties set, looks like the engine uses the window's title in order to find it on the desktop. A few more details are here:

I would like to style a couple of elements using a filter to decipher if it should be yellow or red.
I understand filters should not carry logic operations in them as such so am guessing a service is the first port of call before i create any filter for it.
I am leveraging data from a backend (still a bit unsure of the Backend model here, but know I can leverage certain objects to obtain the data needed for working on) I mostly need to know if i`m on the right path by using a service to control the logical outcome and then a filter to provide 'filtration' of that outcome.
BTW: sorry, im waiting for my project to checkout from SVN at mo so cannot provide a skeleton attempt.
Will do in a bit though .....
Any advice before hand will be much appreciated
:) Gruffy - thanks for reading
You can directly set the class attribute if you want, so your filter can simply return the CSS class to apply:
<p class="{{'foo'|myFilter}}">Foo</p>
Here's a fiddle showing what I mean.
I want to do something similar to what Apple Maps does - when you select the annotation for a pin, the detail view includes an picture of the place. I cannot find any information on how we mere mortals can do this. Is this private API and I'm out of luck, or am I just searching for the wrong keywords?
You can add a mapview that doesn't allow user interaction
