I want to create a wind direction chart, here is an example : http://www.windguru.com
But can't find how to draw arrows on a chart in ExtJs 4.
Thank you
One way would be to have an image for each direction of the arrow (say 12 different images)
In the grid, simply display an image in the cell
Use a template something like this:
<img src="/images/arrows/{direction}.gif">
and replace {direction} with a value from the store such as "NW" for north-west

Is there any way I can make a Lightview histogram chart with multiple values per data point, so that it looks like a Highchart stacked bar (https://www.highcharts.com/demo/bar-stacked)?
If not, is there a workaround?
I already overlay-ed two separate histograms, but that does not help, because both start at the bottom and depending on the values some points are hidden.
Unfortunately it's not possible to draw vertical histogram at the moment.
I have created a sunburst chart with the help of the Anychart library. Now I want to fill different colors on each level. Like blue color background in all slice of level-1. all data is coming dynamically from SQL. How I can do this?Sample image of what I want
Colors of the children in Sunburst chart are inherited from the parent. It means the only way to achieve what you want is to set them for each point in the data. Please check this sample: https://playground.anychart.com/997YGRTI
I have some questions about sliders,
Im using a slider and i want a marker to be present on it like:
http://1.bp.blogspot.com/-HDNFnyRU2Cw/TcuMbBaL70I/AAAAAAAAAGc/7eWN1qnZbAw/s1600/seek.JPG
it draws the image at the bottom of the slider, not on top of it, searched for a setThumbImagePosition or something like that ,but didnt find it, is there a way to use sliders with markers on the top of them?(like the image shown)
Is there a way to show divisions on the slider?(for example this)

Whats the best practice to create thicker sliders?
Check out this post notice that in order to create the stars effect properly we wrap the slider in a flow layout to prevent it from growing. You can use background images just like we do in the stars slider but you need to place the slider in a flow layout of similar layout that doesn't let it grow beyond its preferred size.
I make Chart Report using SSRS
I have problem is my long series label not show whole text For Example
if label is "Personal Computer" it's show "Personal C......"
see image below
and this is whole Chart area
it's have more space between legend and series label I want to use this space to show whole text like this
How to fix this problem ?
Thank you.
Kindly Add the Legend on Right side of the Bar chart and Check
You need to fix the Chart Area height so that it is approximately half the height of the chart. This then allows sufficient space for the x axis labels.
You also nee to set the minimum and maximum font sizes for the x-axis.
I suggest between 6 and 8 pt.
Try setting the label rotation to 90 degrees instead of 45 also make sure the x axis interval is set to 1 and not auto.

I'm trying the telerik bar chart in my mvc application. The texts on the x-axis labels can sometimes be very long and then they overlap.
How can i solve this? can i use a tooltip for this? and how to set the tooltip text for each bar?
Thanks in advance.
You can add a tooltip by adding Tooltip(true) like so:
Html.Telerik().Chart()
.Name("chart")
.Theme("vista")
.Series( series => series
.Bar( /*data*/)
.CategoryAxis( axis => axis
.Categories( /*data*/)
.Tooltip(true)
This will display the value of the Series (x-axis) on hover.
I know you can rotate the labels on the category axis by doing something like this:
.CategoryAxis( axis =>
{
axis.Categories( /*data*/ );
axis.Labels(labels => labels.Rotation(45));//this rotates 45 degrees (you can use whatever value you want)
}
but I don't think the Label method is available on the Series. You may consider flipping the Series and the Axis (if that would still make sense for your data). You may also consider formatting (abbreviating) the x-axis labels and adding your own legend.
