I have already setup TFS build on my box. Currently the build can be triggered using VS IDE or Web interface. However i will like to hook existing TFS build process in to Jenkins as we use Jenkins as standard build tools for all platform builds. Is there any plugin available? I searched with available plugins but it has only MS build plugin.

I have a Wix installer project for my WPF application, and I am trying to integrate this project into my CI/CD pipeline (Github Actions). Currently, I don't know how to build this project on the build server. The Wix documentation says that I could just check-in the Wix tooling with the actual source code, but this seems like a bad idea. What is the most recommended way of building WiX projects on Github Actions or more generally on a remote build sever?
GitHub Actions Windows environment already has WiX installed along with VS.
So to build your WiX projects (*.wixproj), just use the typical MSBuild command msbuild A.wixproj.
I have created two apps using 'Visual Studio Code' and 'node.js.' I run them using command 'npm start,' and they show in the browser. I want to build them or deploy them so they can be used by anyone. It says there to use command 'npm run build.' How to do that, and what technique you use in order to build them?
It depends on what configuration you used for building the React app. If you used create-react-app, npm run build is the correct command for building it.
If you used a different configuration (e.g. webpack), you should use the relevant command for that configuration.
Either way, deploying it will be as easy as copy/pasting the build folder's content to the server you want to host it, after running the build command.
Visual Studio Code or any other Code Editor for that matter is not relevant. You can develop, build and deploy any React app using any Code Editor you want, it's just a matter of preference.
"Building" refers to the task of preparing (transforming, minifying, compressing, etc.) all the relevant project files so that they're ready for production (assuming that your build scripts are configured to do so).
"Deploying" an app is usually a separate task that will deploy (upload) your current project build to a development platform provider like Firebase, Netlify, Azure, etc. Note that you have to register with a provider and setup a new project on their end before your deploy your project.
Which provider you use is totally up to you. Also, you have to configure your current project once you've chosen your development provider. They'll provide instructions on how to deploy your project.
On a side note, keep in mind that you can configure your own npm scripts so that they run whatever you want. More about that here
Using JBoss Studio and importing sample jboss-forge-html5-archetype. When you click next; shows that plugin AngularJS Eclipse needs to be installed. When I try Download and Install it fails. It says it is already installed.
Has anyone seen this issue before? Where does JBoss Studio keep it's log files? Where does JBOss Studio list it's plugins? How do you un-install a plugin?

Log files are stored the same way as plain Eclipse does. Check in your ~/devstudio/ folder for .log files, or check your workspace's folder for a .log file. Or check the Error Log view while running Devstudio.
To list installed plugins / features, from within Devstudio,select Help > About. You can also uninstall features (not plugins) from that dialog.
If a feature needed by a quick start is already installed then you shouldn't need to reinstall it... But maybe you need to update it?
What version of Devstudio are you running? Which OS & version? Which JDK vendor & version?
I am native android application developer working on java and android api's with android studio, recently i got a requirement to build a hybrid app with ionic, cordova and angularJs, i spent 5-6 hours and dig google to get some tutorail to setup a project structure of hybrid app in andorid studio, but haven't found anything.
I know how to use ionic, angular and cordova but don't know about the project structure and setup compiling and how to run.
so, i want you guys to post links of such tutorails (If you have any).
Have a look over cordova CLI mode. In this see specific for Android Platform for that you first need following pre-requirement to use:
Android Studio.
Android SDK.
Node.js
Git Client
After installing Node.js Open it's terminal and follow command to create Cordova project with different platform. These steps are already mentioned in official documentation.
Once you have created executed cordova build androidcommand then browse to your project directory. In that you will find that there's a directory named platforms in that you will see Android, now open your Android Studio in that select Select Import Project (Eclipse ADT, Gradle, etc). when you create a new project from there browse to Android directory. That's all you need to do for cordova

My company (Java + AngularJS shop) is evaluating both IDEA and WebStorm. Based on some Googling, it looks like IntelliJ IDEA is a superset of the *Storm editors, assuming you install the proper plugins (source1, source2):
Practically, if we purchased IntelliJ IDEA 13.1 Ultimate, what plugins would we need to get these WebStorm features?

Grunt and Bower support, as well as javaScript completion, etc. are available out of the box. AngularJS, Node.js and Karma plugins have to be installed from the repository (Settings/Plugins, Browse Repositories..., type plugin name in the search box to quickly locate it).
Just search the repo, you can do this from within intellij with a nice gui aswell.
javascript code complete is in vanilla (not an external plugin) version btw, as I would imagine most of the others are. Just try the trial version.
