I have designed a Devexpress winform with many Devexpress controls.
When it is loading,the form gets flickering.
Is there any solution,for loading of my form smoothly?
Have you tried using a DataLayoutControl and set the methods "BeginUpdate" and "EndUpdate". This should help against the flickering.
This question is very old, but I answer it for someone else.
If the form is a general form(WinForm) rather than a form in Devexpress, it flashes when the entire form is redrawn if you used the Devexpress control in that form.
Make sure that the form you are using is XtraForm, and if it is not XtraForm, you must recreate it as XtraForm.
If you use XtraForm and it blinks Follow #Ronaldk6's comments.

I have a radgridview with a GridViewToggleRowDetailsColumn and I can set the visibility of the GridViewToggleButton the way I want through the RowLoaded event for each row. It was working fine until I need to scroll horizontally. When the GridViewToggleRowDetailsColumn get out of the screen and I scroll back to it, the GridViewToggleButton are now all visible.
I tried to find any event triggered by this without success. Even the IsVisibleChanged event attached to the GridViewToggleButton seems to be triggered only on the visible one.
Does anyone faced the same issue or have any idea of what could produce this behavior ?
Edit: Found the answer. It was a virtualization issue. Adding EnableColumnVirtualization="False" in the gridview properties solved it.

After a few minutes of research, it appears that telerik WPF GridView uses virtualization to improve performace. This means that the state of what is in the screen is retained and as things leave your viewing area they are destroyed. This frees up memory space significantly, however can have some side effects as you are experiencing.
You can set EnableColumnVirtualization=false however Telerik has provided a help article that will likely answer your question more directly while not sacrificing the performance provided by the virtualizations. A link is below and following through the steps, it looks fairly straightforward.

The recommended approach for customizing this behavior, and not turning off the virtualization, is to use a custom column. Try inheriting from GridViewToggleRowDetailsColumn and override CreateCellElement. It is the callback for creating the visual element in the cell, which is called, more or less, at the same time as RowLoaded. Then return null for those rows that you don't want to have a button for.
I have several Wpf pages in my project, these pages have different forms and ui control indide theme. The image below shows the mainWindow and there are two button.
I want to show a specific page when I click on + or Edit button using the Frame control which is highlighted.

But it has an IE navigation sound and a toolbar appears after going to page2.
any better way to show diffrent pages and not using a frame?
You may want to convert the Page into a UserControl. You can then put that control inside some other container, such as a Grid. You'll have to manually swap out the pages in the container when navigating, but it looks like you're doing that anyway.
The purpose of the Frame control is to allow navigation. If you don't want navigation, then don't use Frame. You can turn off the navigation toolbar, but that won't actually disable navigation - there are mouse buttons and keyboard shortcuts for navigating back.
If you just want to host a UI element without navigation, use something simpler, like a Border element - put the content in its Child property. You can change the Child as many times as you like at runtime.
I was able to set the frame control's NavigationUIVisibility to Hidden. This solved the problem for me. I am using Visual Studio 2010 though so it might not be applicable to older VS versions.
Ian Griffiths, what you suggest increases the workload on the developer substantially. And you are stepping outside of the underlying paradigm of XAML.
In my case I'm developing a game application and have chosen WPF as the UI platform as much as possible. For me that means a intro screen, character select, etc. The purpose of Pages is to encapsulate the navigational need of such an application.
I suspect your downvote is due to your statement "If you don't want navigation...". Upon re-reading the original posters question I see he does want navigation, he just wants it on his own terms. I would have voted you down too. YotaXP's solution neglects the issues with using a User Control, particularly if it may contain other User Controls. It looks like Chris Calvert came up with an actual solution to the poster's issue within the parameters of the problem.
I would be curios if I could override the navigation hotkeys and such within the existing paragimn but that's properly in its own thread.
I need to create some mini-windows, like the ones shown in the image bellow, in my winform main form.
It would be nice if they could be draggable, resizable, and, mainly, closable.
How can I approach this design? Has anybody already seen some control (with code available) implementing something similar?

A normal Form works fine for this. Set its FormBorderStyle to either FixedToolWindow or SizableToolWindow as desired.
If you want to keep your floating windows inside your main window, use MDI (Multiple Document Interface). Here is a tutorial (Google can find you many more).
Have you tried just setting the FormBorderStyle property to SizeableToolWindow?

I'm trying to apply a specific style to a slider control and I'm having trouble figuring out what I need to do for the slider's background. What do I need to do to get something like this triangle to show in the background of my slider?
I initially thought I would define a GeometryDrawing and set something in the tickbar tag to it - but I can't find anything suitable.

you need to investigate a bit more into styling and templatiting in wpf. I would expect the easiest way would be to define a Control Template but you 'might' be able to achieve this with just styling

I have found the following in WPF:
I have a form with AllowTransparency=true. Inside the form I put a Combobox.
I add some items to the combobox.
I run this application and click on the combobox. At first it does not seem to appear at all. On closer inspection (after adding more items) I see that it is actually appearing behind the form. If I add enough items it become visible from behind the form.
If I just change AllowTransparency=false, then all is fine.
This looks like a bug in WPF (3.5 SP1).
Any one know of a workaround for this?

AllowTransparency is slow and buggy and shouldn't be used - it's a great way to run into bug in various display drivers.
You can get almost anything you like without using AllowTrasparency, take a look at this post for examples:
