I am using kendo combobox. I have written below code to enable and disable combobox
function enableDisableFrameworkAndAltFrameworkVersion(platformVersion) {
var comboBox = $("#selFrameworkVersion").data("kendoComboBox");
if (platformVersion === 1 ) {
comboBox.enable(false);
}
}
But this code gives me error as "Uncaught TypeError: Cannot call method 'enable' of undefined "
Please help. Thanks in advance.
Now i followed one example on this link below
Disable kendo combo
So now i changed code in my html and added enabled parameter to kendo combobox like below
<input id="selFrameworkVersion" data-bind="kendoComboBox: { dataTextField: 'Name', dataValueField: 'Id', data: $root.versionListByProductType, value: $root.editFrameworkVersion, enabled: enableFrameWorkCombo} />
In my view model i declare one observable like below
self.enableFrameWorkCombo = ko.observable(true);
Then changed my function like below
function enableDisableFrameworkAndAltFrameworkVersion(platformVersion) {
var comboBox = $("#selFrameworkVersion").data("kendoComboBox");
if (platformVersion === 1 ) {
$('#multiAltVersion').attr("disabled", true);
//comboBox.enable(false);
self.enableFrameWorkCombo(false);
return;
}
else if (platformVersion === 2 || platformVersion === 3) {
//comboBox.enable(true);
self.enableFrameWorkCombo(true);
$('#multiAltVersion').attr("disabled", true);
}
else {
//comboBox.enable(true);
self.enableFrameWorkCombo(true);
$('#multiAltVersion').attr("disabled", false);
}
}
Now it gives me error
Uncaught Error: Unable to parse bindings.
Message: ReferenceError: enableFrameWorkCombo is not defined;
Bindings value: kendoComboBox: { dataTextField: 'Name', dataValueField: 'Id', data: $root.versionListByProductType, value: $root.editFrameworkVersion, enabled: enableFrameWorkCombo, optionsCaption: 'Please select Version...' }
What am i doing wrong here?
The fact that is shows "Uncaught TypeError: Cannot call method 'enable' of undefined " while executing:
function enableDisableFrameworkAndAltFrameworkVersion(platformVersion) {
var comboBox = $("#selFrameworkVersion").data("kendoComboBox");
if (platformVersion === 1 ) {
comboBox.enable(false);
}
}
means that comboBox is undefined. Since it is the result of computing $("#selFrameworkVersion").data("kendoComboBox") means that there is an HTML element with id selFrameworkVersion but it is not a kendoComboBox.
Please, check that when you invoke this function, kendoComboBox is actually initialized.
EDIT:
The following example (running on http://jsfiddle.net/OnaBai/qtaAS/) enables / disable a ComboBox using above function...
function enableDisableFrameworkAndAltFrameworkVersion(platformVersion) {
var comboBox = $("#selFrameworkVersion").data("kendoComboBox");
console.log("combobox", comboBox);
if (platformVersion === 1) {
comboBox.enable(false);
} else {
comboBox.enable(true);
}
}
var viewModel = kendo.observable({
data : [
{ "Id": 1, "Name": "node1" },
{ "Id": 2, "Name": "node2" },
{ "Id": 3, "Name": "node3" },
{ "Id": 4, "Name": "node4" },
{ "Id": 5, "Name": "node5" }
],
enableFrameWorkCombo: function () {
alert("hello");
}
});
$("#disable").on("click", function () {
enableDisableFrameworkAndAltFrameworkVersion(1);
});
$("#enable").on("click", function () {
enableDisableFrameworkAndAltFrameworkVersion(2);
});
kendo.bind($("#selFrameworkVersion"), viewModel);
And the HTML is:
<div>Disable</div>
<div>Enable</div>
<input id="selFrameworkVersion"
data-role="combobox"
data-text-field="Name"
data-value-field="Id"
value="2"
data-bind="source : data, enabled: enableFrameWorkCombo"/>

I'm trying to enable/disable a button when the store getNewRecords() function return the length, but not work!
bind: {
disabled: "{!grid.getStore().getNewRecords().length}"
}
Fiddle: https://fiddle.sencha.com/fiddle/1sj5
Someone have idea to how resolve this?
You need to create a formula in your viewmodel:
viewModel: {
formulas: {
hasNewRecords: function (r) {
return this.getView().down("treepanel").getStore().getNewRecords().length > 0;
}
}
}
then you can use it for your bindings:
bind: {
disabled: "{hasNewRecords}"
}
(probably not the best way to get the data you want).
You can read about it here, here and here .
What you're wanting to do here is currently not possible in the framework. Instead, you should create a ViewModel data value and modify that where need be, like this:
var form = Ext.create("Ext.form.Panel", {
viewModel: {
data: {
newRecords: false
}
},
items: [{
xtype: "textfield",
labelField: "Add Child",
name: "col1",
value: "Teste 123"
}],
tbar: {
xtype: "button",
text: "Add new record",
handler: function () {
var data = this.up("form").getForm().getFieldValues();
var rec = grid.getStore().getAt(0);
data["treeCol"] = rec.childNodes.length + 1;
// setting value, so binding updates
this.lookupViewModel().set('newRecords', true);
rec.appendChild(data);
}
},
bbar: {
xtype: "button",
text: "button to disabled when new records",
bind: {
disabled: "{newRecords}"
}
},
renderTo: Ext.getBody()
});
Or by simply doing this.
In your controller:
me.getView().getViewModel().set('storeLen', store.getNewRecords().length);
In your ViewModel, simply do this:
formulas : {
hasNewRecords : {
get : function(get){
var length = get('storeLen') // --> gets the one you set at your controller
return length > 0 ? true : false;
}
}
}
In your View:
bind : {
disabled : '{hasNewRecords}'
}
I have a form where you can add x number of fields. Each field contains option select. I want to filter out the already chosen option when this option is already chosen in one or multiples field before. Each field has a remove button and the form has 1 add button.
How can I filter out the dynamic fields?
Any help,guidance is most welcome.Thanks in advance. :)
This is how my HTML looks like:
<div data-ng-repeat="choice in choices">
<select data-ng-model="choice.option"
data-ng-options="item as item.Value for item in options">
</select>
<button data-ng-click="removeChoice(choice)">Remove choice</button>
<div>
<button data-ng-show="choices.length <= 4" data-ng-click="addNewChoice()">Add Choice</button>
</div>
</div>
And my controller:
$scope.options = [
{
"Key": "0",
"Value": "Select an option"
},
{
"Key": "Option1",
"Value": "Option1"
},
{
"Key": "Option2",
"Value": "Option2"
},
{
"Key": "Option3",
"Value": "Option3"
},
{
"Key": "Option4",
"Value": "Option4"
},
{
"Key": "Option5",
"Value": "Option5"
}
];
$scope.choices = [{ id: '1' }];
$scope.addNewChoice = function () {
var newItemNo = $scope.choices.length + 1;
$scope.choices.push({ id: newItemNo, option: $scope.option, value: $scope.value });
};
$scope.removeChoice = function () {
var index = $scope.choices.indexOf(choice);
$scope.choices.splice(index, 1);
};
ok
i can give simple recommendation which will be this.
1: add variable $scope.selectedOptions = [];
this will contain list of already selected options from all select elements .
2: create function $scope.AddSelectedOption(item);
this will add the selected object when we change option from any select element because we are going to use for all selects ng-change= "AddSelectedOption(item);"
3: add checkIfSelected(item); this will check if given object value is already selected or not ..
will user in
hope you understand what it will do just check like this
$scope.checkIfSelected = function (item) {
$scope.selectedFound = $scope.selectedOptions.filter(function
(option) {
if(option.value == item.value)
{
return day;
}
});
if($scope.selectedFound.length == 0 ) { return false; } else {
return true; }
}
This will return true if give item found in the options.
if not out.. you can invite me to help again .
This is possible. I'm explaining a basic version of this requirement. See the working example here http://plnkr.co/edit/S9yZpjhY55lXsuifnUAc?p=preview
What wer are doing is maintaining another options which is the copy of the original options. Copying the options will make it to not reference existing options since objects are pass by reference in Javascript.
The main logic is in this function, which modify the options on selection:
$scope.optionSelected = function(choice) {
$scope.availableOptions = $scope.availableOptions || angular.copy($scope.options);
if (choice.option) {
var index = -1;
// See if available options has that key
angular.forEach($scope.availableOptions, function(item, i) {
if (item.Key === choice.option.Key) {
index = i;
}
});
if (index > -1) {
// And then remove it
$scope.availableOptions.splice(index, 1);
}
}
};
I am using ui grid to show a list of data and I am trying to initially expand all rows.
I am trying to do this in the onRegisterApi event:
scope.GridOptions =
{
data: properties,
columnDefs:
[
{ name: "Full Address", field: "FullAddress" },
{ name: "Suburb", field: "Suburb" },
{ name: "Property Type", field: "PropertyType" },
{ name: "Price", field: "Price", cellFilter: 'currency'},
{ name: "Status", field: "Status" },
{ name: "Sale Type", field: "SaleType" },
{ name: "Date Created", field: "CreateDate", cellFilter: "date:'dd/MM/yyyy HH:mma'"}
],
expandableRowTemplate: 'template.html',
expandableRowHeight: 200,
onRegisterApi: (gridApi) =>
{
scope.gridApi = gridApi;
gridApi.expandable.on.rowExpandedStateChanged(scope,(row) =>
{
if (row.isExpanded) {
this.scope.GridOptions.expandableRowScope = row.entity;
}
});
gridApi.expandable.expandAllRows();
}
};
But the code above does not work. It looks like when I call expandAllRows() the rows are not rendered yet.
In my case, the following worked:
$scope.gridOptions = {
...
onRegisterApi: function(gridApi) {
$scope.gridApi = gridApi;
$scope.gridApi.grid.registerDataChangeCallback(function() {
$scope.gridApi.treeBase.expandAllRows();
});
}
};
I find I can expand all rows by using rowsRendered event:
gridApi.core.on.rowsRendered(scope,() => {
if (!gridApi.grid.expandable.expandedAll && !initialized)
{
gridApi.expandable.expandAllRows();
initialized = true;
}
});
I have used a variable initialized to identify if this is the first time rows are rendered as I only want to expand all rows initially.
None of the above worked for me for all of my grid use cases.
$scope.gridApi.grid.registerDataChangeCallback(function() {
if($scope.gridApi.grid.treeBase.tree instanceof Array){
$scope.gridApi.treeBase.expandAllRows();
}
});
The following works in every case I have tested. DataChangeCallback is called twice (for some unknown reason) on initial page load. The first time, gridApi.grid.treeBase.tree is an object which causes the issue with gridApi.grid.treeBase.tree.forEach above:
None of these answers worked for me, the following did:
scope.gridApi.core.on.rowsRendered(null, () => {
scope.gridApi.treeBase.expandAllRows();
});
The following worked for me, but no guarantee that it won't break anything... (looks good in my tests):
You need to change the source code, for example in ui-grid.js, i.e. the one your are deploying with your app:
In the addOrUseNode: function(...) inside the createTree: function(...) simply change COLLAPSED to EXPANDED for newNodes:
addOrUseNode: function (grid, row, parents, aggregationBase) {
...
var newNode = { state: uiGridTreeBaseConstants.EXPANDED, row: row, parentRow: null, aggregations: newAggregations, children: [] };
...
}
In module.service('uiGridTreeBaseService'... initializeGrid: function(grid) set grid.treeBase.expandAll from false to true (to let the tree know that all rows are expanded on initialitation)
[looks this is optional for the treeView]: Do the same In module.service('uiGridExpandableService', ['gridUtil', function (gridUtil) {...} in initializeGrid: function (grid). Change grid.expandable.expandedAll from false to true
I'm trying to work out why when I push a view onto a Ext.Navigation.View control, the view I push renders, but the data I push with it doesn't. The view renders a very simple DataView control with some json data (name & surname).
It'll work if I create the view explicitly through "Ext.Create" (see commented out lines in controller), but I'm sure I've done this before where you can push "xtype" of the view and any relevant properties/data for the view. Am I right?
By the way, I've tested the json coming back from the form submission callback and everything is fine. It just seems to be the view doesn't want to render the data I send it as part of the "push". Here's my code. Am I missing something?:
View:
Ext.define('MyCo.Booking.view.PatientClinicSearchResults', {
extend : 'Ext.DataView',
xtype : 'DataViewPatientSearchResults',
itemTpl : '{Name}',
store : {
fields : ['Name'],
autoLoad : true
}
})
Controller :
Ext.define('MyCo.Booking.controller.Main', {
extend: 'Ext.app.Controller',
config: {
refs: {
navViewClinics : 'NavViewClinics',
formPanelClinicPatientSearch : 'FormPanelClinicPatientSearch'
},
control: {
'NavViewClinics list' : {
itemtap : 'ClinicUserSearch'
},
'FormPanelClinicPatientSearch button' : {
tap : 'ClinicPatientSearchResults'
}
}
},
ClinicUserSearch : function(list, index, element, record) {
this.getNavViewClinics().push({ xtype : 'FormPanelClinicPatientSearch' });
},
ClinicPatientSearchResults : function(button, e) {
var form = this.getFormPanelClinicPatientSearch();
var navClinics = this.getNavViewClinics();
form.submit({
success : function(form, result) {
// var view = Ext.create('MyCo.Booking.view.PatientClinicSearchResults', {
// title : 'Search Results',
// fullscreen: true,
// store: {
// fields: ['Name'],
// data : result.items
// },
// itemTpl: '<div>{Name}</div>'
// });
// navClinics.push(view);
navClinics.push({ xtype : "DataViewPatientSearchResults",
title : 'Test',
store : {
data : result.items
}
});
}
});
}
});
JSON received from form submission callback:
{
"success" : true,
"items" : [
{
"Name": "Jon",
"Surname": "Doe"
},
{
"Name": "Karl",
"Surname": "Doe"
}
]
}
Any help would be appreciated. Thank you.
Problem solved. I removed the store declaration from the view and it worked. Just need to reference the data via the itemTpl property.
I'm looking a way to:
hide title on the HTML page result
show title on the highcharts graph when I export it (PDF,PNG,JPEG or print)
I don't know how to proceed. There is someone able to help me?
You can define this parameter in exporting.
http://api.highcharts.com/highcharts#exporting.chartOptions
http://jsfiddle.net/BdHJM/
exporting:{
chartOptions:{
title: {
text:'aaaaa'
}
}
},
put this function in your document ready function below is a code for changing highcharts print prototype and just for the patch or to make it work put rangeSelector option in your exporting and set it to false as mentioned below you can set it to your needs in future
Highcharts.wrap(Highcharts.Chart.prototype, 'print', function (proceed) {
var applyMethod = function (whatToDo, margin) {
this.extraTopMargin = margin;
this.resetMargins();
this.setSize(this.container.clientWidth , this.container.clientHeight , false);
this.setTitle(null, { text: 'SET TITLE HERE' :'});
this.rangeSelector.zoomText[whatToDo]();
$.each(this.rangeSelector.buttons, function (index, button) {
button[whatToDo]();
});
};
if (this.rangeSelector) {
var extraMargin = this.extraTopMargin;
applyMethod.apply(this, ['hide', null]);
var returnValue = proceed.call(this);
applyMethod.apply(this, ['show', extraMargin]);
this.setTitle(null, { text: '' });
} else {
return proceed.call(this);
this.setTitle(null, { text: '' });
this.yAxis[0].setExtremes();
} }
});
and in chart option set this (change it according to you need to, i am just putting my code for reference
)
exporting: {
scale: 1,
sourceWidth: 1600,
sourceHeight: 900,
chartOptions: {
rangeSelector: {
enabled: false
},
}
