Accessing Remote Computer using java - batch-file

I am using a virtual machine, and I want to run the batch file which is in other virtual machine(which is protected, but I know the credentials).
The tool which I am having is "RAD" alone.
Also I cant able to download anything because no admin privilage.
So kindly help me to write a java program to resolve this task.
The reason why is that, I need to run so many batch files stored in many other machines.
Kindly let me know if any further requirements are needed!!!

Is it possible to use a GUI based text editor (e.g. Eclipse) from the terminal?

I'd like to use terminal for all of my normal git and compiling and running processes (my school has a server that is linked to my repo on bitbucket), but I really don't like terminal-based text editing software such as Emacs and Vim. Is it possible to open and edit files from the terminal using a GUI based text editor? The reason I'm asking is because the terminal is the only way I can access the server files. Thanks in advance!
Aw, but vim is the best! :) Well, you can use nano, which is friendlier. Or, if you insist: if you are using SSH to connect to the server (and the server has an X server running !) then you can look into the ssh -X option to view X windows on your remote machine.
Oh and you could look into scp command as well (behaves almost just like regular cp, but the destination is on another host). That way you could edit on your machine, then copy it via SSH (although you'd want to be careful when copying files directly to the server filesystem)
Edit: Also, if you really don't like using the terminal (why though? (-: ), some file managers allow you to get the same functionality of the previous commands purely via GUI (for example).
You've left out some important information that someone would need to know to answer your questions. The other posters have made some assumptions.
You've mentioned this "terminal", but it's not clear exactly what that is, or how you're getting to it. What kind of computer do you have in front of you? What shell is running in that terminal? Is the shell running on your local computer, or have you remotely connected to a server and running that shell on the remote computer?
Based on what you said, I have a feeling you're making a remote connection to a server, perhaps using ssh. You likely have either a Windows or Mac PC in front of you. In those circumstances, running a GUI editor like Eclipse is possible, but likely not practical. You would have to have Eclipse installed on that remote computer, and you would be displaying the Eclipse window on your local computer using the X11 protocol. That takes a lot of bandwidth.
If my assumptions are correct, my recommendations depend on how long you expect you're going to want to stay familiar with this environment. If you intend to do this sort of work forever, then you should learn vi and Emacs to the best of your ability. As someone who's been using Emacs likely longer than you've been alive, I'd recommend you learn it, but vi is also a critical skill.
UNIXY systems provide open or gopen, depending on your OS, that should get the job done. From the man page:
By default, gopen will open filename with the application currently assigned to the file's extension. But by specifing the -a flag on the command line you can tell gopen to open the file with another application.
This means that you can use it to open files in your preferred editor
with a line like
gopen -a Eclipse file

How to use shp2pgsql

My question should be very simple to answer for anyone not being a self-taught newbie like me...
On this page is a cheatsheet concerning a function to be used in GIS/DB environnement : http://www.bostongis.com/pgsql2shp_shp2pgsql_quickguide.bqg
I would like to create a script allowing users to just have to click on it to launch the process, given the proper datas. But I don't understand how to use this. It obviously doesn't work in a Python console, nor directly in the windows console. How is it supposed to work ? What language is this ?
Thanks
shp2pgsql is indeed a command line tool. It comes with your PostgreSQL/PostGIS installation (usually) and, if not accessible via PATH-variable, can (usually) be run from within the /bin-folder in your PostgreSQL-Installation. You can also always 'make' the programm from source in any location yourself, if needed.
EDIT:
One way to set up a script (independent of whether you use it within qgis own python environment or not) would be to use Pythons subprocess (or os.system) module (check related question here) to write to shell and execute shp2pgsql.
A slightly more sophisitcated solution to (batch) insert (multiple) shapefiles via script could be to implement ogr2ogr via gdal/ogr module within python (check this blog). That, however, would require a working installation of the gdal core library, and the respective Python bindings (at least to use outside of QGIS Python environment, where it is pre-installed AFAIK), which can be tiresome at times. Once installed correctly, it offers a powerful (I dare say almighty) toolset for geodata management and manipulation via Python, though.
Apart from that, the blog link I provided also states the implementation of a batch insert script/tool (which operates ogr2ogr) in qgis 2.8 toolbox...maybe that can help you, either with your work directly or (via sourcecode) to point you in the direction of creating your own tool.

HSQL Embedded Database

I want to create HSQL embedded database but jdbc:hsqldb:file:"What should I write here to work on other PC". If I copy my project to another pc and click the jar file , it needs to access my database. So, what should I write for file path ? My application works on my PC but does not work on other PC because it does not access the database.
Please help me. Thank you.
If you're trying to access a file that isn't located on the same machine, you're most likely out of luck, unless you can set up a link, file sharing, etc.
If you want to make the file location configurable, then use a system parameter, a config file value, etc. and construct the JDBC string from that, e.g.,
java -jar some.jar -Ddb.location=/some/file/path
...
String url = "jdbc:jsqldb:file:" + System.getProperty("db.location");
If you want to access a DB server then you're probably going about this the wrong way.

How to write files in C:\Windows\System32 with full permissions

Iam working on POS software using winforms. Iam trying to programmatically writing XML file (which contain some encrypted information about software serial number) to C:\Windows\System32 directory. But when i write i get an error Access denied.
Can anyone please explain how can i write this file with full permissions in this directory in windows 7 as well as in windows XP???
Any other suggestion or better way to do this will also be welcome.
Thanks in advance.
You'll need to be an administrator on the machine to write to the Windows directory. In addition, on Vista and later, your process will need to be "elevated" (otherwise known as Run As Administrator). You can configure this on your application's property sheet, as discussed here, or with a bit more work, do it programmatically.
It's bad practice to write to that directory, though, notwithstanding all the (misguided) software that does that. Save your files somewhere else. %appdata% or %localappdata% (directories specifically meant for application data) are good choices.

write file in network shared folder with UnauthorizedAccessException?

hi the win mobile 6 code tries to write files on network shared folder, but always gets UnauthorizedAccessException. I have checked permission and security setting on the folder and the code can read the file but just cant write to it. The code runs under administrator account which has full control over the folder and files. It is in vs 2008 professional with device emulator.Any help please? thanks very much.
You've verified that you can write the file outside of your program, correct? i.e. logged into a machine account and tried placing that specific file there.
Do you have access to the system that hosts the file? If so, you can check it's access logs to verify which account your app is using.
My guess would be that either your app isn't using the account you think it is, or that the admin account may doesn't actually have write access to that folder or file.
