GMail API Node.js quickstart - ERR_CONNECTION_REFUSED

I am trying the GMail API Node.js quickstart on Windows 10.
I do get the expected
.
However when I visit the url I get
for http://localhost/?code=4/xxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxx&scope=https://www.googleapis.com/auth/gmail.radonly
I get this error after going through 'This app isn't verified'/'Advanced > Go to {Project Name} (unsafe)'. message.
No Proxy active and also tried with AntiVirus disabled.
Any ideas what the problem could be?
Thanks.
The issue you are having is that you are runing a Authorization credentials for a desktop application. Google made a change recently which deprecated the oob redirect. This means that now you need to use localhost or 127.0.0.1 as a redirect endpoint for installed applications.
Resulting them in returning the authorization code back to the browser showing site can not be reached because your not running a web app you are running an installed application.
If you check the url the authorization code you are looking for to add to your code can be found there. just take that code and submit it where it asks for it.
Enter the code from that page here:
There is currently no other option and no way to fix this unless you want to start up a web server in node. basicly its working as intended and Google is in the process of updating all the Javascript samples to reflect that.

How to see if gatsby-plugin-offline is working

I am new to Gatsby so please bear with me.
I want to add offline support to my app such that if a user were to try access it while offline (after having visited it online) it would still show up.
Would gatsby-plugin-offline help me achieve this?
If so, how can I try this out? So far I have tried using the plug-in in my app (all default settings), building the app and then serving it locally on my computer at http://localhost:9000/. When I stop the dev server and try access http://localhost:9000/, it does not show up. How can I test to see if this plugin works?
After gatsby build the public folder should include sw.js file.
Otherwise, you can find whether the service worker is registered on not at Chrome Dev Console over Application > Service Workers.

VueJS PWA says Network Error in my small PWA. Even I can't login

In my PWA everything is working except POST HTTP calls. I have a login on my first screen. It says Network Error. But it works fine Desktop/Laptop web browser. Only found the problem on mobile app [Android]
Note
I used Vue CLI for creating project.
I also tried with React. Happened the same. I don't know what's wrong with me.
You most likely try to connect to localhost. When deploying to a different device localhost is the actual device you are deploying and most likely you are not running a web server there.
You need to find your local machine's ip and use that as base url for HTTP calls.

GAE Server Error when Opening App in Console

When I open up the Google App Engine console and click on one particular app I get:-
Server Error (500)
A server error has occurred.
Additional info:-
This only happens for one app (I have 8 in total).
The app is deployed and I can view it no dramas via the appspot URL.
It happens as soon as I click the app name in the "Applications Overview" page - I am unable to view the console for that app at all.
There are no errors when deploying from the GAE Launcher and I've tried re-deploying several times.
I was able to login yesterday morning but have been receiving this error since yesterday afternoon.
The app is Python (as are all my apps).
I tried logging in "incognito" and on a different PC without success.
I also tried deleting all the *.pyc files and re-compiling them but it made no difference.
Has anyone else come across this issue? Any suggestions on how to resolve it?
Thanks.
The issue was my YAML file contained:-
- url: /.*
script: about.application
Once I changed this so that the "about" page wasn't so greedy, it has worked.

Eclipse error on deploying AppEngine project

I am using the Eclipse with the Google AppEngine plugins (Java) and following the http://code.google.com/appengine/docs/java/gettingstarted/uploading.html tutorial.
Everything works fine locally, but when I try to deploy to AppEngine I get an error
"Error While signing in"
An error occurred while trying to sign in 400 bad request. See the error logs for more details.
This error is before I enter any login info or anything.
I am copy/pasting the App ID from the AppEngine website so Im pretty sure I got it right.
I have no idea where the logs are on this thing, so any help there would also be appreciated.
Try logging out and back in again. That worked for me.
Change your proxy settings!
Please go to Window -> Preferences
Then from General find Network Connections and update your proxy settings.
This must solve your issue.
