A couple of resources (here and here) seem to indicate that this error can be caused by whitespace preceding '<?xml ...' in the XML being read.

Google App Engine Java 11 Unable to instantiate the com.google.cloud.logging.LoggingHandler

I'm are currently testing migration to Java 11 and I'm having issues with the logging component. In Java 8, everything was logging correctly, with the appropriate log level and aggregating logs into request. However, after moving to Java 11 that is no longer the case.
I went through the following guides:
https://cloud.google.com/appengine/docs/standard/java11/writing-application-logs
https://cloud.google.com/logging/docs/setup/java#the_javautillogging_handler
I made the required changes to our code and now the server crashes upon initialization. I get the following error:
java.lang.AbstractMethodError: Receiver class com.google.api.gax.grpc.InstantiatingGrpcChannelProvider does not define or inherit an implementation of the resolved method 'abstract The last call our code makes is: com.altairix.comm.adf.root.log.DefaultLogger.(DefaultLogger.java:26), which is:
logger = java.util.logging.Logger.getLogger(DefaultLogger.class.getName());
I'm not sure if my logging.properties file is correct, but it was copied from one of the guides above
.level = INFO
io.grpc.netty.level=INFO
sun.net.level=INFO

com.google.cloud.logging.LoggingHandler.formatter=java.util.logging.SimpleFormatter
java.util.logging.SimpleFormatter.format=%3$s: %5$s%6$s
I was able to fix this by adding a handler to the logger:
import com.google.cloud.logging.LoggingHandler;
...
logger.addHandler(new LoggingHandler());
and also removing the reference to the logging.properties file, but I don't believe this is the intended use and it seems there is a bug when trying to use the logging.properties file

Exporting data using solr streaming expressions is randomly not working

I am using solr 7.4 version. I am trying to export data using streaming expressions.
Following is the simple curl query that i am using. I am indexing my data and testing the following query.
curl --data-urlencode 'expr=search(collection1,
q="text:solar",
fl="id",
sort="id asc",
qt="/export")' http://localhost:8983/solr/collection1/stream
when i run above query with initial few documents indexed, it is working fine. After indexing few thousand documents (around , i am getting the following error for the same query.
EXCEPTION":"java.util.concurrent.ExecutionException: java.io.IOException: --> http://localhost:8983/solr/collection1/: An exception has occurred on the server, refer to server log for details."
I've looked into my solr logs and the following is the error info

Is it because new documents have something unusual in their content? Even if that is the case, i am requesting only one field which is id and there is nothing unusual about it.
Also, to mention, if i give q="*:*" it is working fine (which is kind of weird)
Any idea what what is issue here ?

SymmetircDS: Extract Frequency by Channel

I'm trying to limit the extract frequency and found two ways in user guide (https://www.symmetricds.org/doc/3.9/html/user-guide.html#_extract_frequency_by_channel). None of them are working.
1) By setting extract_period_millis.
update sym_channel set extract_period_millis = 30000, last_update_time=CURRENT_TIMESTAMP where channel_id='channel_bps2swd'
After that, I was receiving the following error message on console:

[server] - NodeConcurrencyInterceptor - Error building response headers
I had to set back extract_period_millis = 0 to solve this error message.
Note: Table SYM_NODE_CHANNEL_CTL is empty
2) By setting start/endtime to on table SYM_NODE_GROUP_CHANNEL_WND for associated channel.
It didn't have any effects. Changes were synced shortly after they have occured.
System:
Symmetric 3.9.12, Windows 10 x64, mssql
Any solutions to set the sync frequency?
If your just looking to change the sync frequency you could use the following parameters as they are both defaulted to 1 min (60000ms).
job.pull.period.time.ms
job.push.period.time.ms
In class
org.jumpmind.symmetric.service.impl.ConfigurationServiceSqlMap.java
add this
putSql("selectNodeChannelControlLastExtractTimeSql" ,"select channel_id,last_extract_time from sym_node_channel_ctl where node_id=?");

MyBatis Batch Update Exception

I am using mybatis to update mysql database,but when I run my test program I found a BadSqlGrammarException and I do not know how to solve it.Could anyone have a look at it and give me some useful advices?
Below is my issue detail:
Mybatis SQL file:
<update id="updateTestcaseNodeBatch" parameterType="List">
<foreach collection="list" item="nodeVO" separator=";">
UPDATE testcase_node
<set>
name=#{nodeVO.name},
version=#{nodeVO.version},
description=#{nodeVO.description},
last_modify_user=#{nodeVO.createUser},
last_modify_time=#{nodeVO.createTime}
</set>
<where>
object_id=#{nodeVO.objectId} AND root_id=#{nodeVO.rootId}
</where>
</foreach>
</update>
Java method block:
#Override
public int[] parseImportTestcaseData(List<TestcaseNodeVO> nodeList) {
int[] result=new int[3];
int ignoreNum=0;
List<TestcaseNodeVO> addList=new ArrayList<TestcaseNodeVO>();
List<TestcaseNodeVO> updateList=new ArrayList<TestcaseNodeVO>();
TestcaseNodeModel tempNode=null;
for(TestcaseNodeVO nodeVO:nodeList){
tempNode=testcaseNodeDao.queryNodeByObjectId(nodeVO.getObjectId(),nodeVO.getRootId());
if(tempNode==null){
addList.add(nodeVO);
}else{
if(tempNode.getVersion()<nodeVO.getVersion()){
updateList.add(nodeVO);
}else{
ignoreNum++;
}
}
tempNode=null;
}
if(addList.size()>0){
testcaseNodeDao.addTestcaseNodeBatch(addList);
}
if(updateList.size()>0){
testcaseNodeDao.updateTestcaseNodeBatch(updateList);
}
result[0]=addList.size();
result[1]=updateList.size();
result[2]=ignoreNum;
return result;
}

Through the sql exception stacktrace,I could found it was due to my wrong syntax,and thus I have tried to my Mybatis XML block as below(remove seperator property and add a semicolon at the end of each sql),but still failed:
<update id="updateTestcaseNodeBatch" parameterType="List">
<foreach collection="list" item="nodeVO">
UPDATE testcase_node
<set>
name=#{nodeVO.name},
version=#{nodeVO.version},
description=#{nodeVO.description},
last_modify_user=#{nodeVO.createUser},
last_modify_time=#{nodeVO.createTime}
</set>
<where>
object_id=#{nodeVO.objectId} AND root_id=#{nodeVO.rootId};
</where>
</foreach>
</update>
I have tried many ways to do it but still can not find a solution for it,could anyone help me to solve it?Thanks in advance!
I think the problem is mysql doesn't support executing multi sqls by default, but in your case the batch update need that.So you have to add
parameter "allowMultiQueries" to enable that.
like below:
jdbc:mysql://10.255.10.105:3306/PB_MANAGEMENT_PLATFORM?allowMultiQueries=true
The same error occurred while I used the multiple update on mybatis, then I appended the parameter allowMultiQueries=true to the URL of JDBC, and it works well now.
and are the item and index together?
<foreach collection="list" item="nodeVO" index="index" separator=";">
but the result of multiple update is 1 when I update a list of object , and the number of data changed in mysql equals the size of that list . It makes me confused .
See if this reference help?
Multiple queries executed in java in single statement
And if you are using Spring-Batch, this might comes in handy
<bean id="sqlSession" class="org.mybatis.spring.SqlSessionTemplate">
<constructor-arg index="0" ref="sqlSessionFactory" />
<constructor-arg index="1" value="BATCH" />
</bean>
