I didn't know where to post this so i came here. Anyway I'm wondering is it worth even targeting Symbian phones? Especially since nokia don't even want anything to do with it anymore.
Do symbian phones get the latest updates for chrome and firefox mobile?
There are still lots of old phones areond, but almost no new phones are sold. If you know Symbian then you can develop on it for existing customers, but there is no point starting to learn the language

I want to create a cross-platform app (will be supported for mobile and web devices), and right now I am not totally sure which technology to use. What is easest to make more responsive, flexible, and adaptive?
I have experience with RNative and Flutter, but I am not sure what to use, what is better for performance on mobile and web, SEO is not important. Only app size (if we talk about the mobile app) and performance (web app)?
Need suggestions.
Thank you.

I've recently started learning React and don't know enough to make a judgement on whether it would be a good library to use for a chat web app?
HipChat is built with React: https://developer.atlassian.com/blog/2015/02/rebuilding-hipchat-with-react/
I believe it also uses Material-UI since some of the components are near identical (buttons, icon/label placement, etc.)

Is it preferable to use AngularJs for large and complex enterprise application , which in turn will use Internet Explorer 8 as client.
Choosing technology stack for developing applications would be subjective. You may go through various points mentioned on this link and learn more about AngularJS's IE8 compatibility.

The requirement for my application is just Login and share an image to Facebook.
Is there any drawback to just work with native iOS6 integration only?
The share of iOS5 across devices is very small (less then 10% of all iOS devices out there) so you are pretty safe to go with iOS6 integrated Facebook support; however, there is this very nice library https://github.com/sakrist/FacebookSample - you can use it (along with facebook sdk) to provide support for < iOS6 devices and is very easy to integrate.
Hope that helps.

Can any one point to resources for internationalizing a web application using CakePHP.
Opinions differ, but I personally feel that the documentation for CakePHP on i18n is not up to the mark [please don't post your opinions though].
A full blown example will definitely be quite handy! Any resources?
You can look into the source code of a available cakephp application (maybe croogo)
