I am currently working on drupal responsive theme. For this I am creating my own custom theme.
For making it responsive I have used twitter bootstrap. I have used carousel plugin for slideshow which works well in html.
The images in the slideshow are static that is I have hard-coded there path. But in drupal I want to choose images dynamically as in wordpress or joomla module.
Is it possible? If it is not than is there any slideshow module for drupal which can solve my problem?
Thanks in advance
FlexSlider is an excellent module for this. Unfortunately it's not quite as configurable as Views Slideshow, but Views Slideshow requires hacking to get it responsive as it inserts width/height attributes directly in the DOM.
if I understood right, try to add the "img-fluid" class to the image and don't set the width for any container

I make this web app using react.js and I tried very much to do Responsive for mobile devices but I couldn't, any one solve this problem please.
I used useMediaQuery from material ui which helps very much in creating responsive site.
Here is the documentation for it.
After then for displaying responsive components
You can create new components that are fit to that window size
You can use states for toggling for the different window sizes
And then you can import them as you want.
Just discovered this code and implementation of lightbox2 and added the needed code to some of my webpages.
Looks very good o desktop and also on tablet but I don't like the lightbox in mobile view.
The pictures that are shown on mobile are smaller than the 'normal' responsive view that I get when not using lightbox2.
So my question is in the title: How can I disable the lightbox on mobile?
Regards Arno
Unfortunately this is not possible at this time. The Lightbox script on load will attach event handlers to the target images.
To get around this, you can use different markup on mobile and show hide the content with CSS media queries.
I've got a problem with aggregating my css in Drupal 7. I work on Adaptive theme and I'm using responsive stylesheets on my website.
When I check "Aggregate CCS" in drupal administration, my website appears as desktop styles.
Is anybody has a issue ?
Thank you
As far as I can remember, in this particular template you should save the template settings after css changes has been done.
If i only want to use the basic responsive grid functionality of Zurb's Foundation (no plugins), do i need to include foundation.js and initialize it?
You don't need JS. And you can check it with the docs. Modules that require js has js label in the menu.
I developed a web site using Drupal 7. I use Nivo Slider and it works perfectly for me. I used Nivo Slider for the front page of the site. When I configured the Nivo Slider it's settings are displayed under structure in the Drupal CMS menu. Basically, I have to update images and set transitions and etc.
I have another page where I nee to add a new slideshow, but I don't know how to make another instance of Nivo Slider and use it. I would guess there should be an easy way to handel this.
You can create another instance of the nivo slider block with the MultiBlock module, but the other instance will have the same settings and same images of the original slider block.
You can use the Views Nivo Slider module to create another slider block.
