It's really weird since I can properly run Junit test that access Datastore and Blobstore API. Only that when I run the app, this error shows.

My connection string in database.properties looks like this:

I have used the same connection string with spring-hibernate configuration with out a problem, but would like to try activeweb-activejdbc. Why the compiler cannot find the class? I have included google cloud sql dependency in pom.xml:

First, you need to include a fill stack trace. Second, if you get a ClassNotFoundException, this means you do not have that class on the classpath. You need to know for a fact that the class is there. Use Maven dependency plugin, or expand all your dependent jar files and ensure you have the class. No magic here:)
UPDATE:
Now that you provided the stack trace, I see that the exception happens when you run the migrator. If you look at the migrator configuration, you will see that it requires its own class path. For instance, the example here: https://github.com/javalite/activeweb-simple/blob/master/pom.xml#L39 lists the MySQL JDBC driver especially for the migrator, even if you have it configured already for the project runtime. Just copy the config, and replace the MySQL driver with your driver.

What is the classpath set when you run your code from the command line?
The error means you're missing the jar containing the declaration for OWLOntologyCreationException - this is either the owlapi-api jar or the owlapi-distribution jar, depending on how you set up your Eclipse project.
I'm getting an issue that I really can't find out why it's happening. I'm using the "example" package from SOLR website on a DEV environnement. I've change the schemal.xml to fit my needs and at this point, everything works fine.
To have it works on my Staging server, I've simply "tar" the whole "example" package with my changes and send it on the server. So it's exactly the same config file, ports, etc.
Un-tar it and put it in my website folder. I've start the solr instance using: nohup java -jar start.jar &
At this point I don't see any error in shell, but when I access it through localhost:8983/solr, I have the following error (at the bottom)
The JAVA version on that server is almost the same: "1.7.0_21" on Staging, "1.7.0_03" on DEV.
Does anybody have any idea ?

While it looks like the error is being caused by my program not being able to find the class XMLizable, I am unable to execute import com.sforce.ws.*; which would import the needed class.

The problem was the jar file created using java -classpath wsc-23.jar com.sforce.ws.tools.wsdlc SFwsdl.xml salesforce.jar was not including all of the necessary packages into salesforce.jar. This was stopping me from being able to include import com.sforce.ws.*; in my code.
To fix this, I imported the wsc-23.jar file provided from https://code.google.com/p/sfdc-wsc/downloads/list into my project as well. Once I did so, I was able to import all of the packages and use any of the objects that were hidden from me before.
If any one comes across a cleaner way to do this, please let me know.
