How to insert data into database from wavemaker - database

I want to insert data from wavemaker into database which will be inserted by user at runtime. But didnt get yet how to do it in wavemaker.
Can anyone please suggest me a simple example of it?

This is really easy to do with WaveMaker. I suggest you follow the 2nd Tutorial, which shows how to import a DB schema and quickly build a UI to insert data into a DB.

Tools for compare data before writing into db

I am writing a project which needs to scrape data from a website, I am using pyspider, and it runs automatically every 24 hours(scraping the data every 24hours). Problem is , before writing the new data entry into the dB, I want to compare the new data with the existing data in the dB.
Is there a tool/lib I can use?
I am running my project on aws, what’s the best tool I can use to work with aws?
My idea is to set up some rule for the data to update/insert into the dB, but when the new data is somehow conflict with rule then I will be able to view the data/scrape log(where the tool will label it as pending)and waiting for admin to do further operation.
Thanks in advance.

How to insert image into Access database using Classic ASP

I am trying to use my webcam to take a picture and save it into an Access database with other information like first name, surname etc.
I have so far created a page that is able to insert the other details into the database. I now don't know how to go about with the image.
For now, I need help on how to capture the image and save into Access table.
One way you could handle this would be to instead of inserting the image, you could store it in a relevant folder with the database'images', then instead insert the path to the image.
However if you need to have it in the db, you could use attachments to table records. Ive never done this, but from a glance it looks limited. As MS access databases max out at 2GB.

Laravel - Migrate database from other frameworks

I was working on a project which is already advanced, specially the database, that has been filled by someone from my team, even though part of it has not been used yet. Some tables can be emptied and refilled as it's sample data, however most of them contains data which will be actually used or it's been used in the parts we're doing now.
The project started in CodeIgniter, by we've realized that Laravel can save us hours of work, so we're planning to migrate it. The point is that we didn't use the CodeIgniter's migration system, and we've seen in the Laravel documentation that only the table structure will be migrated, plus we have to create every migration.
The question here is if there's a way to both, create the migratinos files automatically, and to keep the relevant data that will be used in the application so we don't need to refill the database again (yep, there are kind of big tables). We thought on the seeders, but what we've seen is that they only store sample data...
You can use Laravel migration generator. It will simply help you to generate migrations from your
existing database. Check it out below. You will find in readme how to use it. Good luck.

Hope , it helps. Thanks. Cheers. -_-

SSIS- Roll back delete commands

I am using SSIS packages to daily refresh the data. Package logic is as follows,
Delete all rows in destination table
Insert full new data into destination table.
I am trying to find out ways to rollback delete if my insert fails. I tried using SSIS package transaction as below:
But now, after Delete SQL task is run , my package goes stuck for long time and does not respond.
What is the recommended way for doing this?
Any help is much appreciated.
There are quite a few techniques to consider here including some more complex ideas, but if we're looking at simpler ones, you could insert into a table with a different name but the same structure, and only if that works would you then swap it out somehow. One way of doing this is to use views for your access to tables, and then modify the view on success to use the table you've just inserted into.
It might not be the most elegant way, but it is one of the simpler ones to consider.
Change the default of the Transaction Option property of the package to "Required" and make sure each object has that property set to "Supported" which is the default.
Additionally, you can minimize the transaction by doing the same thing with a sequence container around just your Execute SQL task and data flow.
FYI, I can't see pictures at work so I do not know what your package looks like.

SSIS - Log all inserts or updates done to the table

I was wondering if it is possible to create a SSIS package that would take all inserts and updates that were done to the specific table in SQL Server and write them into a text file.
I watched some videos on youtube but I couldn't find this specific case.
Could anyone guide me please?
Have you looked into Change Data Capture (CDC)? It's pretty fantastic.
