I was working locally on my computer on a cakephp project for 3 days. Then i had to shut off the computer. In the morning, when i turned it on, and tried to continue work, i got error:
Fatal Error (256): ConnectionManager::loadDataSource -
Unable to import DataSource class .DboSource
[CORE/cake/libs/model/connection_manager.php, line 185]
What could be the problem? I haven't changed any of the DB settings. I tried them out with a db manager and they work. I googled this in different ways, but couldn't find the answer.
Any clue would be awesomely appreciated!
Update: I noticed that if i drop the database, or change user/pass to something wrong, this error doesn't change. (..if that helps)
Since the database settings didn't matter, I figured out it was a problem in the system files in cakephp.
So I went ahead and downloaded again the same version 1.3.10 and replaced all over the cake/, plugins/, and vendors/ folders, in which I hadn't changed anything anyway. I only kept my app/ folder.
Finally it's up again.

I am trying to install matomo by following the instructions in the website. But no luck, i keep on getting errors. I am using xampp to host the matomo.
First, I downloaded matomo, extracted it inside htdocs folder of my xampp. Then I go to localhost/matomo. It shows the installation welcome page. I click on Next and after a while got error "No database selected"
I researched and i read something that I need to create a config.ini.php and specify the database. And so I created a database in phpmyadmin called "matomo", then created a config.ini.php file. Then when I go to localhost/matomo, i get an error saying that matomo is already installed and that "matomo.option" doesn't exist.
Why is the matomo installation have to be this difficult? Has someone successfully did it? If you'll down vote, at least please let me know why so i can provide more information.
Ok, so after researching further, it seems after clicking Next, Matomo is already doing a system check which takes too long to complete. So the solution is to increase the max_execution_time found in xampp/php/php.ini to 90.
This will give matomo enough time to complete its process. I hope others will find this useful.
We have a project running Umbraco 7.5.9
We have suddenly started to get the following errors when loading Umbraco and opening various document types
Failed to load template: views/components/umb-folder-grid.html?umb__rnd=7.5.9.884162080
The errors come from /umbraco/lib/angular/1.1.5/angular.min.js
Is this a server setting that is causing this? The error has suddenly started appearing in several applications
Thanks
Check your project path whether Umbraco\Views\components\umb-folder-grid.html files exist?
It seems like you are missing that file - maybe accident delete it or did not include it when publish
Check your dev tools network tab and look for the call for the umb-folder-grid.html file.
It should come with a 200 response, but in your instance it may be 404ing.
I found that this file is requested when I go to the Media section of Umbraco.
If the file is 404ing, open up the location of the file in a separate tab and see if anything is being returned. If there is nothing there, check that your server does have the file on it.
Thanks in advanced for looking at my post! I developed this Commerce Kickstart site locally using Aquia Dev Desktop and everything looked and functioned great. When I post it to the server, I get the WSOD, and an error in the error_log:
PHP Fatal error: Call to undefined function delta_get_current() in /xxx/xxx/xxx/profiles/commerce_kickstart/themes/omega/alpha/includes/alpha.inc on line 222
This is a site that had been working fine remotely also, except for an issue with the checkout. (the original reason for taking it down.) I had to refer to a backup copy of the site, make some changes to get it to be more recent and then post it. That's when I received the WSOD and Php Fatal Errors.
If you have any advice on how to fix or where to proceed, please let me know. Also, let me know if you need any more info.
Thanks again.
Jason
You need to make sure that you're working with the right module and theme versions. See what you can do to update Delta to fix it, also update Omega.
To start with, I would like to stress that I do know how to define XML Namespaces correctly in my XAML files. This repeated error is not caused by an mistake in my code. The problem does not stop my project from being built successfully, or running and the mentioned Converter class works perfectly.
When I build the project, the errors disappear. However, the designer show the familiar error message:
When I click on the 'Reload the designer' link, the errors return. The worst part of this problem is that I lose all Intellisense on these views.
The error highlights these namespaces:
But you can clearly see that they have been declared correctly:
I'm sure that I have found a solution for this problem before, but after an extensive search just now, I can only find a million posts relating to this error where users have actually made errors. Please also note that this was a brand new WPF Application and not downloaded from the internet or a network drive.
Is the project ON a network drive? XAML has issues with projects stored on a network drive. In corporate environments your Documents are often remapped to a network path, causing this problem for the default project folder.
Try like c:\projects\yourprojecthere instead?
WPF Project on a network share with clr-namespace
i am trying to figure this out for a long time now, but so far no luck, maybe somebody can help me.
I have a 2.2.2 cakephp installed on my computer (localhost) and everything works perfectly. But now i want that same project to be online on remote server. I upload everything, set mysql path but i get a blank page when trying to access the site.
If i upload a fresh cakephp it works, but my project doesnt. The debug is set to default, think that should be 2? I also deleted files in cache/tmp, but still no errors or anything, just blank page.
Any info would be helpful, thank you.
I hate when that happens :). Usually it does if there is an error somewhere and you can't see it because the errors are turned off, so you should call phpinfo() and see if display_errors is on. Changing the debug mode doesn't work every time since display_errors is set from php.ini.
Unfortunately, if this is the problem and you don't have access to edit the php.ini file, you might need to ask the hosting provider to change it and restart the php service.
You can also try this: error_reporting(E_ALL)
I uploaded changes to my cakephp website and discovered that all actions for a particular controller returned a blank page. I discovered what the error was and was able to reproduce it with another controller.
The problem was that in the first line of my controller file I had a space before the opening php tag.
One space cost me hours.
Just uploading all files won't cut it. Make sure you work through this checklist:
First and foremost, check the error log file located under app/tmp/logs/error.log, this usually holds some very good pointers as to what is wrong.
Make sure you have uploaded the app/Config/database.php file with the proper details. Local installs usually have user root without password. Online servers (obviously) do not!
To that extent, also make sure you actually have a database with your hosting provider (either your host sent you the info or you need to create it yourself using their control panel).
Make sure you also uploaded all .htaccess files (the one under the root directory and /app and /app/webroot), some FTP programs don't show this "hidden" file by default.
If all else fails, contact your hosting provider for further support as they usually have access to more verbose server logs that can also hold clues.
The real problem was only the coding I used in notepad++. All my files were encoded with UTF-8, but they should have been UTF-8 without BOM. After I changed it to UTF-8 withot BOM, everything started to work perfectly.
