Wrap text into semi-circle region - winforms

I'm modifying this glass button code to allow for both a Text and a TextExtra property. The goal is to render the Text in a larger/bolder font on the top half of the button and the TextExtra in a smaller font on the bottom half.
I'm having trouble finding a good way to do this when the button is round. As written, the code uses the text rendering of it's Button superclass, which works fine even for a round button with just the Text property. I assume I'll need to render the Text and TextExtra myself, but can't think of an elegant algorithm to wrap the text into the semi-circular regions.
Any approach/pointers welcome.

Why do `TextField`s sometime include its parent `Container`s and sometimes not when they start being edited?

I have a TextField inside a Container. The Container is in the SOUTH of a Form (BorderLayout). The Form's CENTER Contains a scrollable BoxLayout.y() Container
When the bottom TextField is tapped on Android, the keyboard is shown. Sometimes, it cuts the TextField's parent Container up to the TextField's bottom, sometimes it doesn't. When it does cut it, the Form's CENTER also gets pushed up, and the Toolbar disappears. I am trying to make sure that calling the keyboard never cuts the parent Container and that the CENTER Container doesn't get pushed up
Is there a way to guarantee that the parent Container is always shown so that it doesn't get cut?

Generally this is really hard to tune positions for keyboard. We try to make it seamless but there are points where this is pretty difficult to control. Especially with a south placed text field which is static (not scrollable).
If you can isolate a test case that shows misbehavior here we might be able to fine tune the logic a bit.
Solution to prevent this consists in setting the Form's setFormBottomPaddingEditingMode(true);. Easy fix! 👍

How can I neatly line up right-aligned check boxes with with other controls?

The Visual Studio WinForms designer lets you snap together text boxes, list boxes, buttons, and so forth reasonably well. However, a check box with CheckAlign=MiddleRight does not work quite like the others, because it has two components: the built-in label, and the check box itself. If you line up the text with other labels, the check box is left floating and will not automatically line up. You can turn off AutoSize and attempt to size the CheckBox control so the check box lines up, but this is touchy and will be thrown off by custom font sizes.
In this example, I've almost lined up the check box with the other controls, but not quite:
If I had several check boxes it would be a real headache, as with AutoSize turned off the position of the check box is relative to the end of the text, so each control has to be individually sized pixel by pixel.
What's the best way to line up check boxes with other controls?
One workaround is to not include text with the CheckBox and instead have a separate Label control. However, by doing so you lose the ability to click on the label to toggle the check box. On a high-resolution screen, clicking a 10x10 pixel is finicky, a poor UX experience. You could add an OnClick event to the label, of course, but that seems like solving the wrong problem.
Here's an example of someone else with the same issue: in the preferences panel in Oracle SQL Developer, when there's a mix of properties the check boxes are handled with separate labels and boxes:
Personally, i avoid that issue by not having the CheckBoxes aligned to the right:
rather than having the caption on the left.

Image glimmer or sparkle animation

I've been searching for awhile, but haven't been able to find anything. I'd like to be able to add kind of a glimmer or sparkly animation on an image element in wpf.
Essentially the effect here I'm after here is the same that you get with trading cards that are "foil's".
I'd like to have an image, and then be able to add this animation to it at will. I'm thinking maybe some kind of user control, or template possibly. Hopefully generic enough that I can just toss an image at it and it will just overlay the image and run.
Any ideas?
A simple construction that easily can be turned into a control is by nesting the image in a Grid and adding a second Grid (on top) as a sibling.
De second grid can be given a linear gradient brush that is primarily transparent but does contain a white glimmer.
This brush can be animated; you could move it and change the opacity of the grid/brush.
This way you do not change the image.

How to Move content to next page in WPF Form

I am new in WPF if there is something wrong please co-operate.Here i require some idea from experts.
I am working on one application in which i have to show some content on WPF form after filling the fields present on the form.On the same form i also have a print option.
Check this image.This is my form here part in the red block is generated at runtime.When i click on the print button it only show the visible part on the paper and skip the remaining part.
Problem :
How i can move the remaining part of the form which is under scroll to next page when i click on print.
For example in the given image we can see only 2 bulls eye completely and next 2 partially.How i can shift this remaining part to next page only when i click on print.
The answer is quite easy : don't rely on your window to do the printing, but build the visual you want then print it.
For instance, you must have a function that creates dynamically the circles and so on, then adds them to a Panel. What you might do is to print the Panel.
Or if you prefer, you might build Dynamically a new window, where you put all the Data you want printed as you want, then print the window. The advantage of this method is that it is more flexible for the content (if you want a header/footer) and also you can watch the content easily for debug. Note that even if the Window content is dynamic, you can have a base window for printing that avoids you to do too much xaml with code (expl : you might have TextBox bound to a PrintTitle property that you setup in the constructor of the Print Window...).
Notice that visual that were not rendered on screen will not print. Be sure, to avoid the common issues, to have a look at this article from this great site, switch on the code, here :

1) If you have fixed number of bulls eyes, just make one Window for that number and Print it, this is waaaay easier.
2) To put Visuals in pages instead of rows, you'll have to rely on page Width/Height. What matters is the size of your control vs size of page. In the example, they build (in OnRender) Controls having LineHeight, LineWidth as size. Do the same : Try to put as many line of control as you can such as
(Control Height + margin )*NumberOfControlPerPage < Page Height.
Then you have to change OnRender to render controls instead of Rows made with rectangle+text. Pack your controls two by two in Horizontal StackPanels Then pack those StackPanel into a vertical StackPanel, then render. You have to keep track for each page which control was rendered last, then resume rendering at the following control.

Get airport display type transition when data changes

A client has asked for a display to flick over like an airport display screen, ie each row flicks over when information changes.
I am not sure which is the best control to use, or the method of getting each row to transform one after the other.

Here's what I would do in general concept..
Make a regular panel of, say 50px high. (This is arbitrary but this panel just holds the size in place so the control doesn't shrink with its contents.)
Create a panel inside that one that will be the 'animated' panel.
When it's time for information to animate, create a storyboard that uses a transformation to "stretch" the height down to 0, change the content to the updated information, then tranform stretch the height back to 50px. This will create the illusion that the panel is flipping over.
If you make this a user control, then you could simply add however many "rows" you needed of this control to a StackPanel to make your screen.
The best way of representing this effect easily is to randomize the text during the change.
