Standalone flash player for Windows CE - mobile

Are there solutions to get de flash player ( doesn't matter what version ( higher = better :) )) running on windows CE in standalone mode ( so not activeX plugin for IE )
or flash lite perhaps ??

You can contact BSQUARE. They have a solution for a standalone flash player based on flash-lite 3.1. I couldn't find anything freeware though.I saw their solution work on an evaluation board by TI (OMAP arm).

(Resolved) Eclipse Repeats actions that produce pop up windows

Downloaded & Installed/unzipped Eclipse 2020-9 to see if my old version ( Mars ) was broken.
When I do something simple like
Add a Folder
I get two "create folder dialogues"
2 popups
Same when I right click to delete a folder, I get two delete dialogue boxes.
these are just two examples, I'm guessing most actions will have two reactions!
Cannot debug a target get an error ( Stop the first session before staring a new one )
guessing Run->Debug is fired twice too.
I'm a long time eclipse user, so really curious why this is happening
issue started when I got a 'new' win 7 pc, discovering this bug while setting up my environment
any hints are welcome.
Used OpenJDK and Oracles Java 8 same issue ( Tried two versions of eclipse, same issue )
Eclipse is used for C development with ARM MCUs with OpenOCD and Gcc for ARM.
Many thanks for taking time to read this.
Regards
Alan
Solution:
Fixed nVidia graphic driver application software was the culprit, the one that makes enhances the user experience by making windows go transparent when you drag them, good useful stuff like that. Uninstall nVidia desktop enhancing tools and Eclipse (and Notepad++ ) work perfectly Eclipse was never the problem, just the side effect.

Quartus 18.0 Lite MAX10 device board model number not listed in programmer menu

I have an assignment at my university which involves using Quartus - they use Quartus 18.0 Lite.
The board is a terasiC DE10 -Lite board which uses the chip 10M50DAF484C7G
I have installed this on both my windows and linux machines with the same issue.
I download Quartus with the MAX10 device .qdz file so it should be in there.
Note: When creating a project I can set the device to 10M50DAF484C7G but when it comes to uploading my logic circuit design to the board it is not listed in the choices. I have attached a screenshot for clarity:
If anyone is able to help it would be greatly appreciated as it means I cannot test my work on the weekends as our electronics lab is only open 9am to 5pm weekdays for obvious health and safety reasons.
I see "10M50DAF484" is listed, you can probably use that, since the C7G just indicates the operating temperature (basic), fabric speed grade (medium), and version (production).

Virtualy Test WPF Compatibility

I am running Windows 8.1 on a Intel core i7/8GB hardware configuration.
I had developed one WPF application which is running absolutely fine on my machine, but my some of clients have different low end configured devices like Intel ATOM dual core/2 GB on which the application is lagging.
My question is how do I create a virtual environment like my client's and test the application on it.
Does anyone know how to achieve this without or with a VM? Are there any features in Visual Studio to support this type of testing?
Using VM is OK. there are no any tools in VS to solve it.
Just create VM with 1 GB of RAM and 1 CPU

Adb not detecting my sony xperia J

I am trying to debug my android application in sony xperia J but the
adb devices
returns no devices
I have enabled USB debugging, Mass storage and installed sony pc companion.
I also allowed to install external applications.
I tried with enabling USB teathering.
Is there any additional setting I am missing?
I guess I have installed drivers for it but I am not very sure.
Can somebody help me on this it is really irritating.
You have to be sure about drivers installed or not.
in my job I see many devices that are not recognised by adb at first.
I have noticed that this is happening due to an auto-mount of the sdcard on the computer.
make sure there are no mounted drives on your computer and that should fix this
You can use PC companion software connect Phone to PC for debugging
Link: http://www.sonymobile.com/in/tools/pc-companion/
and also try it
Settings > Xperia > USB Connectivity > USB Connection Mode and select MASS Storage, not MTP
If your USC pc connection is to Media device try changing it to Camera (PTP) or Vice Versa.
First you have to configure your phone not to install PC companion when connecting to PC by deselecting it from the phone menu. Also enable USB debugging and Mass storage, then connect the phone to the PC. Delete all devices that look like your phone in the Device Manager by uninstallling them. Then right-click and scan for hardware changes. Go to Android, right-click and Update driver. Browse folder until sdk/extras/google/usbdriver. Then Let me pick... Select Android phone, then have disk browse until sdk/extras/usbdriver. Select android_winusb.inf. Open, then select Android Composite ADB Interface. Next install. Wait until it is done and reopen Eclipse. You will find your phone there under devices.
I am running W8.1 x64 Pro and all above solutions had failed because Windows would not recognize a driver inside of sdk/extras/google/usbdriver even with a manual install.
Anyhow, my solution was to use Sony's PC companion tool, which was able to automatically download the drivers for my PC.
Official doc: http://dl-developer.sonymobile.com/documentation/other/Get_drivers_through_PC_Companion.txt
Now the abd interface is installed, and the phone is detected in adb devices.

Tools to operate a mobile using a desktop PC

I have used software named my mobiler which displays the screen of any Windows Mobile connected to a desktop PC and allows the user to control the mobile from the desktop.
Are there other similar software available in the market for S60 or Series 40 Nokia mobiles.
My Mobiler is very cool - like Remote Desktop but for a phone.
The Nokia PC Connectivity API doesn't quite do the same thing, as it provides a set of APIs to let you control the phone and get data from it. Neither do the Series 40 or Series 60 emulators, as the phone is emulated rather than real.
Given the significant technology differences between S60, S40 and Windows, I'd be surprised to see this change any time soon.
Now, Maemo (as running on the N900) is a different kettle of fish altogether. Quite remarkably someone has ported VNC there which should do the job just nicely.
