NTLDR error message and the WPF - wpf

I am building an application using the WPF. This application is for presentation purposes, the user can draw shapes, write text play audio and video ...etc. but I have an error message about the NTLDR when I am running the application on the Windows XP and actually I do not have any clue of where I can find the problem.
I would appreciate if anyone has any hints regarding where I can search in the code to find the problem or any suggestions.
Thanks

That NTLDR is nothing to do with your WPF application, that is a boot loader problem, it sounds like the boot sector is kaput and could not find the boot loader file called NTLDR which is 'NT LoaDeR' responsible for bringing up the system. You may be well advised to read the contents about NTLDR on wikipedia as there at the bottom of the page, a useful link to how to fix up the 'NTLDR is missing' error message.
This link is replicated here for your convenience on how to troubleshoot this problem. Also is this link that explains how/why it happens.
Hope this helps,
Best regards,
Tom.

Thanks a lot Tom for your reply, actually I found where is the problem, it was from the NSIS installer. I use the NSIS istaller instead of MSI to install the application on the client's PCs, and after many searches I found that people who use the NSIS installer face the same problem and that the NSIS remove the NTLDR from the root folder during the setup process (I do not know why) :)
Thanks again for your help, Hamzeh.

Can't open/create my Salesforce projects with Mavensmate anymore

I used to connect my Salesforce projects without any problem since today.
Now everytime I want to create or open a new project through Mavensmate. I get this error :
Error initializing project: client identifier invalid
I don't know how to solve it. I have googling without finding any solution. I thought this could solve my issue, but it doesn't work.
Please help!
Not sure if this is related or already said but it sounds like MavensMate has finally died. Related conversation/details here. If I knew how to build the windows version of the MavensMate source I'd try myself but seems like there is a security issue that would have to be applied too which I don't have time for (plus possibly out of my expertise reach).
So I'm now biting the bullet and starting the move from Sublime to VS Code using a couple different articles (here and here). Pretty sad about this but seems no other way. If possible I'll loop back to Sublime in the future but no idea if that will be feasible or not. If anyone finds a fix for MavensMate or a new way to do SFDC work in Sublime please let us know!

Can't create DotNetNuke module in VS2010, template issue?

I've been following the tutorial videos for DotNetNuke and i am at the part where i am now creating my own modules. I've installed everything i need to and put the template in the required folder, but whenever i try to create a project it comess up saying
"The local IIS URL http://dnndev/desktopmodules/... specified for Web project ... has not been configured"
It then asks me to create a virtual directory but says i cant because the server "http://dnndev" is not on the local machine.
I've searched for answers for a while now and have tried editing the template file and the host file but no matter what i try i always get the same message back. Does anyone know how i can fix this?
Thanks
If you follow these steps for setting up your Development environment than the templates should work as is.
http://www.dotnetnuke.com/Resources/Wiki/Page/development-environment.aspx
If you are using a different path for your website I would recommend customizing the templates.
http://www.dotnetnuke.com/Resources/Wiki/Page/Customize-Project-Template.aspx
I assume you are using dotnetnuke wiki page link which seems confusing. For better steps go to: http://www.dotnetnuke.com/Resources/Blogs/BlogID/16.aspx and locate "Let's Build a Module #1 - Project Introduction" which is a first video in step by step series of videos which will help you to clearly understand the process.
Let me know if you need more help.

tumblr mobile not working with prettify.js

So I wired in Prettify.js and Prettify.css into my new Tumblr blog. It works out great in chrome, IE, and Firefox but I was astonished when I went to my Android Phone and suddenly the code inside ... looks like an atrocity.
I was about to go digging but figured before I spend hours trying to solve a problem someone else already fixed I would see if my ol' Stack Buddies have anything to say on the matter.
aquamoogle.tumblr.com
Any solutions will be greatly appreciated and if none are posted I'll likely toss up a solution by the end of the weekend.
Clarification EDIT This is viewing the post through the Tumblr Android application. I don't think it has anything to do with phone version but because someone is bound to ask it's a Motorola Droid Bionic running Android 2.3.4
Alrighty, since nobody came along with this one I'll throw the answer out there. The Tumblr application after decompiling it off the APK does not use a standard web frame. This means that javascript execution is not embedded in the view for the mobile application.
Sucks I know... Another possible solution would be to use straight CSS for formatting but alas this doesn't even work in the mobile version as the CSS sheets are overridden with mobile style sheets for more compact formatting.
So this one goes down as "unsolvable" due to the mobile application not operating within the same boundaries as the web driven blog does.
If someone does by chance have a solution to this that will work however, I would be interested in hearing it but at this time I don't have a valid solution. But, it's good to know.

wpf app appears to be blocking extended screen functionality on hp laptop

I ran into a strange issue where "fn_key -- F4" combination on my hp laptop to extend the screen would stop working once I have a wpf application running. This happens even when I create an empty app -- as soon as I run it, I can't extend my desktop to a second monitor.
Thanks!
Sounds like an issue with your video driver. What kind of video card is it? Are you running the latest drivers from the vendor?
The problem was a driver issue (as Drew mentioned above).
To diagnose an issue like this, please follow the instructions from the MSDN article (http://msdn.microsoft.com/en-us/library/aa970912.aspx) on how to disable hardware acceleration and render everything in software.
Provided your issue is similar to what I have experienced, you will be able to single out the problem by adding the necessary registry key from the article.
