I have an react Web Application. That application needs to use authorization and authentication with SAML2 based on an ADFS IDP.
I need to use Spring Boot Security for that.
How do I integrate my react app into the Spring Boot Security Part? I need authentication / authorization on the Front-End Part for displaying menu options.
I get some Roles and Claims back from ADFS in my Spring Boot Service.

I want to add sso login in my react js application, where backend is spring boot application.
In the backend I have added sso configuration in property file and created bean for WebSecurityConfigurerAdapter. So, now my backend is sso enabled.
Now my question is how the sso will be integrated with my react application?
I am working on a webapp, the Front-end is implemented in AngularJS which talks to back-end server by invoking REST API. The back-end is Java REST Server implemented using reslet framework deployed in Jetty.
Currently, when a user logs into a web app, a REST API is invoked which then goes to the Java REST server. The server then authenticates the user.
I want to implement SSO using SAML. So when a corporate user tries to login to the app, the user must be redirected to ADFS. If the user is successfully authenticated he must be allowed to login to the app.
I want to know how do I start? I have seen sam2-js library, however it seems to be for NodeJS based server. I am not quite sure if it can be used with AngularJS on frontend.
SSO with SAML involves browser redirects so the flow is between angular and ADFS.
There's no Java backend.
So Jetty is irrelevant.
SSO has nothing to do with REST. They are two different flows handled in two different ways.
SAML is not a suitable SSO protocol for angular. That's why you can't find any examples.
You need to use OpenID Connect with ADFS 4.0. ADAL is the way to go.
I have an ASP.NET MVC5 application which has WEB API2 project with few controllers within it. I have setup AzureAD authentication for the ASP.NET MVC5 project using AzureAD and OpenID connect and OWIN middleware.
Everything is working fine from ASP.NET MVC project point of view. The WEB API2 controller are used here to process the requests coming from angularjs, Android
and iOS app. There is a requirement for a WebAPI controller to process requests from unauthenticated clients (angularjs, Android, iOS apps) which issue AJAX requests.
Prior to the AzureAD authentication setup it was configured with on premise ADFS authentication. In this case I followed the below link to by pass on premise ADFS authentication for the
WEB API2 controllers and it worked fine for me.

The web API controller is access-able for anonymous user by default. If you got the unauthenticated issue(401) when the anonymous user access that controller, please check whether there is Authorize attribute for the specific controller and remove that attribute.
I'm writing an Angular app which has Grails with Spring Security as a backend. I don't want to couple frontend with backend, so I don't use any gsp's, the communication goes only through REST requests.
Now the question comes which authentication to use.
Form authentication could be useful, but spring security redirects to the default form page and my login page is outside of Grails (in Angular project). I don't need a form page from spring security, I just need a URL where I can do my post request with credentials and get a cookie back.
So I started with Basic authentication which is easy enough, but then we have to add Authorization header to each request, which is annoying and not secure.
Spring security allows remember me cookie, but it is coupled to form authentication, so it is not possible (or difficult) to use it with basic authentication.
Stateless token authentication (for example, JWT) sounds great, but it is not clear how to configure it with Grails. The documentation for Security plugin has no mention about stateless authentication: http://grails-plugins.github.io/grails-spring-security-core/guide/index.html
So what is the best way to do authentication from Angular in Spring Secirity?
You are using default behavior of spring security. If you want stateless authentication, you will have to override the default behavior. Please go through this wiki page and also see this sample app for angular backend.
I want to authenticate and authorization a REST Spring API with Spring Security JWT for work with AngularJS App. but I confused and I don't know what should I do? I need to simple example for authenticate AngularJS app with Spring Security JWT.
I used Jhipster token based authentication with spring security, you can easily modify the code to use JWT instead.
