Wordpress database import issues (GoDaddy to Squarespace) - database

I am attempting to import numerous posts (around 3,500) from a GoDaddy site to a Squarespace site, but keep encountering the following error message: "Import file appears to be incomplete. Please check the file and try again." I have tried both XML and SQL files. I have also verified the content in question still exists and is accessible through the post-specific URL. Is this an issue between the two hosts?

Akeneo import failing, unable to read or upload files?

I've been trying to get Akeneo CE up an running to give it a try. It's pretty much all functioning except I can't use the import feature. If I use the upload file box on the frontend I just get "File not found at path..." error. If I upload the file manually and specify path, I just get "Unable to read the file..." error.
Installed on WHM cPanel server.
I'm using the minimal DB to start from scratch.
I've checked all permissions and they seem right.
I can export fine.
I enabled the exec function as indicated by the sys reqs regarding import/export.
Anyone got an idea?

Migrated Magento site from Localhost to Live. Getting and error

I have followed the relatively simple steps to migrating a Magento 2 site from my localhost to a live server. When I type in my new URL to see the site, I get an error screen with a message directing me to an error log.
From inside the error log I see the following error message:
a:4:{i:0;s:48:"SQLSTATE[HY000] [2002] No such file or directory";i:1;s:3133:"#0 /homepages/25/d336955856/htdocs/mfg_oldSite/product-catalog/lib/Zend/Db/Adapter/Pdo/Mysql.php(111): Zend_Db_Adapter_Pdo_Abstract->_connect()
I am not able to access either the regular public pages because of this error. I also get a 404 error when trying to access the admin page.
Any ideas? Any further info needed to make my question clear?
Check your host setting in /app/etc/local.xml
Try with changing it from "localhost" to "your server host"
have a look PDOException SQLSTATE[HY000] [2002] No such file or directory
EDIT
As per the whole discussion we have done. I am assuming that you have wrong credentials. this is why you are not able to connect to your DB.
have you checked your local.xml under app/etc or if you already done that then rename your local.xml and enter your website url on browser ,you will see installation panel, install your website again with right credentials i hope this work!!!
Hey please follow the following step it will remove the error
1) Rename the your local.xml file,
2) Delete all cache files form your system.
3) Run your site in your browser it will ask for the configuration steps.
4) Follow the steps and select the add database detail which you have updated in your live site.
It will setup all thing and the data will be same as it is.

How to restore websites in localhost

I am newbie in Composite, I already backup and download C1 websites (www.solve.sg), I also have installed (and working) Composite in localhost. So how to restore websites in localhost?.
I already used method to rename folder CompositesC1 to CompositesC1old, then extract and put extracted web in CompositeC1 folder at localhost but not working and gave me error.
Please help the right method how to read online backup websites and to read that at localhost
I dont know what Composite is, but you probably need to go back to your cPanel / backend of your webhost, dump the DB powering solve.sg and import that into your local instance.
Your hosting provider will probably have a tool called phpMyAdmin; go in there and find the 'Export' tab at the top of your DB and dump it out as a .sql file. You will then import that file into your local environment, probably also using phpMyAdmin.
You may also have to change around some of the settings files that show where your database is relative to your application.

404 Error when copying Orchard CMS

I have one knowingly good site. It works as expected. I copied all the files from that one directory to a new directory. I created a new website with the correct host header and pointed it to the new directory. When you browse to the new site you get a 404 error.
I have checked the file permissions. I have even made the two sites share the same app pool.
Any suggestions would be helpful.
If you look in /App_Data/Logs you can see the error message. As it turned out for me, it was because I was trying to run the same "tenant" twice on the same server.

Transfer dotnetnuke database data to new server

I was given a dotnetnuke v4.9.5.5 database (sql-express about 300MB) and I am trying to get it up and running on a different server. I have tried:
Installing the 4.9 version and
loading the database into the app_data folder
loading the database through the SQL page under the host login (forwards to 404 page...)
installing the 5.x version and
loading the database into the app_data folder
loading the database through the SQL page under the host login (forwards to 404 page... again..)
All of which fail. I cannot find any support on this topic at all. What is the correct way to go about this?
EDIT: wrong info please close..
Here is a good blog on the topic HOW TO: Move a DotNetNuke installation .
The basics are:
Copy all the files and the database, the two are closely tied together.
Update the connection string in the web.config.
Update the portal alias' in the PortalAlias table.
If you don't have the rest of the site files, it may be very difficult. While the database will contain most of the site content, you may be missing some important pieces like skin files, module files, and content files.
So, the first thing you should do is see if you can get the files zipped up and sent to you. If so, it should be fairly easy to get the site up and running. You may have to update the ConnectionStrings in the web.config but otherwise it should run as it.
If you can't get the original files, you could try installing version 4.9.5 of DotNetNuke and replacing the supplied database with the database you were given. You'll need to post the error messages you get if it doesn't work out or consult someone with solid DotNetNuke experience.
