I have followed the relatively simple steps to migrating a Magento 2 site from my localhost to a live server. When I type in my new URL to see the site, I get an error screen with a message directing me to an error log.
From inside the error log I see the following error message:
a:4:{i:0;s:48:"SQLSTATE[HY000] [2002] No such file or directory";i:1;s:3133:"#0 /homepages/25/d336955856/htdocs/mfg_oldSite/product-catalog/lib/Zend/Db/Adapter/Pdo/Mysql.php(111): Zend_Db_Adapter_Pdo_Abstract->_connect()
I am not able to access either the regular public pages because of this error. I also get a 404 error when trying to access the admin page.
Any ideas? Any further info needed to make my question clear?
Check your host setting in /app/etc/local.xml
Try with changing it from "localhost" to "your server host"
have a look PDOException SQLSTATE[HY000] [2002] No such file or directory
EDIT
As per the whole discussion we have done. I am assuming that you have wrong credentials. this is why you are not able to connect to your DB.
have you checked your local.xml under app/etc or if you already done that then rename your local.xml and enter your website url on browser ,you will see installation panel, install your website again with right credentials i hope this work!!!
Hey please follow the following step it will remove the error
1) Rename the your local.xml file,
2) Delete all cache files form your system.
3) Run your site in your browser it will ask for the configuration steps.
4) Follow the steps and select the add database detail which you have updated in your live site.
It will setup all thing and the data will be same as it is.

Recently I have revamped a website which is created on a development server. Then after that i started migrating it onto the main server. Initially I got a unicode error while uploading the database on the live server. I googled it and found a solution on stack overflow itself (#1273 – Unknown collation: ‘utf8mb4_unicode_520_ci’). I used the method suggest by sabba and it worked. Later when I Changed the config file and loaded that link. Its giving me a 503 error.. It error is as follows:
Service Unavailable
The server is temporarily unable to service your request due to maintenance downtime or capacity problems. Please try again later.
Additionally, a 503 Service Unavailable error was encountered while trying to use an Error Document to handle the request
Go through the steps and check it,
Enable WP_DEBUG
But since the 503 error often locks you out of your WordPress admin, we shall use WP_DEBUG and WP_DEBUG_LOG, WP_DEBUG_DISPLAY and #ini_set constants available to WordPress.
To enable debug mode in WordPress and write errors to a log file, follow these steps:
1. Open the wp-config.php file
2. Scroll down to where WP_DEBUG is defined. It looks like this define ('WP_DEBUG', false);. If it is missing, we will add it just above the line that says /*That's all, stop editing! Happy blogging.*/
3. Insert the DEBUG magic codes. Just change the above define ('WP_DEBUG', false); code to:
define ('WP_DEBUG', true);
define ('WP_DEBUG_LOG', true);
define ('WP_DEBUG_DISPLAY', false);
#ini_set ('display_errors', 0);
4. Save changes
Now, reload your site to provoke the error. Next, locate a file known as debug.log inside your wp-content folder in your WordPress directory.
This file contains all the errors on your website. If your 503 service unavailable error is caused by a custom code snippet, it will show up somewhere with details of the error.
Eliminate/replace the problematic code and reload your site. If the 503 error persists, the problem could lie in your web server.

The above error I am getting when I run " twine upload dist/* " command
Alright, I figured out:
You need to login to https://pypi.org/ instead of the old https://pypi.python.org/pypi.
https://pypi.org shows a "pre-production" warning on top, but that doesn't matter. Login to your account, go to account setting, and verify your email. The old site doesn't have a way to check whether your email is verified or not.
I am experiencing the same problem right now while trying to update a repo that's already on PyPi.
But I found this link on my profile page and on clicking it I read
we are experiencing issues with pypi.org and the upload.pypi.org
endpoint. we're actively working to resolve the issue and will update
here as we're able.
Running my application on local with dev_appserver for finding event list from Google calendar and it works fine.
when I deployed through app-engine (deployment done successful) and when I run the file it gives me below error
Error: Server Error
The server encountered an error and could not complete your request.
If the problem persists, please report your problem and mention this error message and the query that caused it.
Google lot about this error still unable to find solution for the same
my app.yaml file structure.
- url: /calendar
script: webserverflow12.py
When I run this appspot.com/calendar. It is giving me mentioned error.
Any idea what changes need to do to run my application on live?
I feel that you didn't changed your client id and client secret which u registered for appspot.com domain when deploying to appengine server. So you are getting this error.
Check your application logs from your GAE admin page.
Hopefully you'll find some info there to help debug.
I hosted one DotNetNUke Application to my production server, and locally it works perfectly. But, when browsing it redirects to the error page.
How do I set the default.aspx as my application default page? I am getting the error as below:
DotNetNuke Error
--------------------------------------------------------------------------------
Windows Vista
Return to Site
Can anyone can help me, please? Will be appreciated.
UPDATE:
Hi, I changed the Path in the PortalAlias table to the server url and default.aspx as the starting page, but it displays the error.aspx as default page.
Please help me resolve this problem..
So, the application works perfectly locally, but not when you put it on the server. Is that correct?
Make sure that your portal alias is valid. If the site is hosted at
http://www.mysite.com
then www.mysite.com needs to be listed in the PortalAlias table
If you open that table in SQL Mgmt Studio, you'll probably see an entry attaching the portal to your local DotNetNuke folder (ie. localhost). Just add a new entry that points to the same PortalID, but with the correct URL for your production server.
Assuming your DNN installation is at "mysite.com", if you navigate to
http://www.mysite.com/default.aspx
do you still get the error page? If so is any error listed?
I was able to fix the issue (for me) by taking the web.config file from a working site with the same version of DotNetNuke and modifying it to have to correct machine key and connection strings. This is my last resort something is really strange procedure.
I am using SQL Server 2008 Reporting Services and set mode remotely. All is going fine and reports running on my machine. I am not using report viewer control, but switch to browser.
Problem is that when I access the report from any other system in browser by providing required url. I m getting the following premission error:
Server Error in /ReportServer Application. Access is denied:
Description: An error is occured while
accessing the resources required to
serve for this request. You might have
not premission to view the requested
resources. Error message: 401.3 : You
dont have the premission to view this

creditinals you supplied.
I have go through all step of this article "http://msdn.microsoft.com/en-us/library/ms365170.aspx" and set remotly premession but after all changes no success and getting same error.
Please some one can tell me or provide step list, that how can I set the premession? that the report can run from other machine. Quick and detail response will
This link should give you some more steps to follow to set up the permissions as this sounds like a permissions error.
http://technet.microsoft.com/en-us/library/aa337491.aspx
Also .... does it prompt for a username and password when you visit the site from another machine? if not you may need to add the required authentication methods into IIS (just an idea)
Then create a local (or domain) account for people to use to browse reports and use the properties tab on the report server home page to add them as 'Browser' type members.
When you visit the reports site from another PC it should prompt for sign in details (may not on a domain - not sure), if it errors before showing the home page then it is a security config issue, once you get in you may have a bit more tinkering to do to get the reports to run, but you tend to get slightly more verbose descriptions then so its not too hard to figure out and it normally database security permissions related.
Best of luck.
