Outlook Add in pinning does not work in Shared folders Outlook Web - SupportsPinning and SupportsSharedFolders - reactjs

We have implemented an Outlook Add in that uses the SupportsPinning option from Req Set 1.5 and the SupportsSharedFolders option from Req Set 1.8. Both options are working fine in Windows Outlook Native client but malfunction in Outlook.com, outlook.office365.com, OWA (tested in latest Chrome, IE and Edge).
These are the steps and the outcome:
Open Shared Inbox in web outlook
Select email
Open Add-in
Pin Add-in
Select another email
OUTCOME: Add-in window closes, EXPECTED: Add-in window remains open
The other strange thing is that if you then select another message, the add-in remains closed BUT if you select an email that you previously opened the add-in on, in the shared inbox, the add-in reopens.
Does anyone know why this behaviour is occurring? Is there a way around it??

I've also faced the problems too.
Outlook OWA still doesn't fully provide that feature.
You can check here
Docs say that this feature is not supported on outlook.com.
So, we have no choice.

Getting Error while adding File System ISE Logic App Connector

I have created an ISE Logic Apps environment, and am trying to add the FileSystem ISE connector to the Managed connectors list, as it does not appear in my default list. When I click on '+Add', I can see the File System connector in the drop down that comes up, but when I select it & click on 'Create', I get the following error:

The ISE File System connector is available. The ISE File System connector will not be automatically added to the ISE, you will need to manually add it yourself. Our engineers are working on getting that automatically added with new ISE deployments.
Here are steps from the document to add it manually to the ISE :
On your ISE menu, under Settings, select Managed connectors. On the toolbar, select Add.
On the Add a new managed connector pane, open the Find connector list. Select the ISE connector that you want to use but isn't yet deployed in your ISE. Select Create.
Only ISE connectors that are eligible but not yet deployed to your ISE appear available for you to select. Connectors that are already deployed in your ISE appear unavailable for selection.
Checkout this GitHub issue as well for details.
File system connectors is not yet available in ISE. You can use the shared connector (With gateway) in a Logic app in ISE till it is available.
It is on-premises data gateway. Yes there is already a work items for this and it is in progress and will be there in near future but this timeline is subject to change. As far as new features go, we are not able to disclose much at this time.
Also you could vote up this feedback to promote this feature to be achieved quickly.
I am having problems with the ISE Create File (Preview).
I have an API Connection defined with the Root Folder setting using dot notation, e.g. 192.168.1.23, because there is a DNS issue with hybrid cloud-on-prem lookup, or so I am told.
The Logic App portal editor in Designer mode behaves strangely when configuring the folder path in the Create File action. When using the pop-out folder picker I see "The use name or password is incorrect".
I have made sure that the credentials are correct and have tested successfully via other means.
Is there a work around?
Is this a known issue?

Office protocol handler failing after opening taskpane addin

There is some very strange behavior occuring with protocol handlers and taskpane addins from newer office versions.
I've done extensive testing and found that if I have a protocol url such as
"ms-excel:nft|u|https://office.iwriter365.com/api/getFile/test.xltx"
This protocol works perfectly fine until the moment I start a taskpane with the taskpane url "https://office.iwriter365.com". After this Excel will display the error "Microsoft Excel can not access the file...." every time I launch the protocol url.
The only way to make the protocol url function again is by closing all instances of Excel.
This has started happening somewhere around Office version 1802 or 1803.

Difficulty with SQL Server 2014 training kit

Trying to work on this training kit to get educated with SQL Server 2014.
As seen here:
https://www.microsoft.com/en-ca/download/details.aspx?id=41700
I can't get it to work. It seems to come with a pdf explaining how to get it to work on your browser. Apparently by default the browser (chrome) won't run "application that use XML configuration files when they are run from a local computer" The only way to get it to work is by placing "--allow-file-access-from-files" to the google chrome shortcut properties window in the "target" location.
Even after doing all this I still get a message saying "network error" and the message on the top of the screen on the browser saying "To run this page in google chrome, close Chrome then create a shortcut with the --allow-file-access-from-files" property on..." (basically telling me to do the thing I just did following pdf instructions the kit came with)
Does anyone know what is going on?
Thanks in advance.

PhoneProductId in appxmanifest: Upgrade from Silverlight to Runtime vs. Map Service Application Id (wp RT 8.1)

I'm updating an app from Windows Phone Silverlight 8.1 to WP Runtime 8.1 and got an issue with the "PhoneProductId" in the Package.appxmanifest:
1) Either I provide the Id from the old Silverlight version of the app. Then I can update it in the console via "AppDeployCmd.exe" /targetdevice:de /update MyApp_1.2.3.4_AnyCPU.appxbundle" with no user data being lost. But when I run MapRouteFinder.GetDrivingRouteAsync(...) I get an InvalidCredentials-error, since I haven't provided the proper Map Service Application Id, which in RT needs to replace the PhoneProductId (in Silverlight, it needed to be provided via c#, alongside the Authentication Token).
2) Or I provide the Map Service Application Id and can use MapRouteFinder.GetDrivingRouteAsync properly. But then I can neither /update the app (error message "Application is not installed" in the console) because of different PhoneProductIds in the two app versions. I also can't /install it without first uninstalling it ("Could not register package").
Anybody got a way out of this dilemma?
I've now uploaded soulution number 2 to the store, with GetDrivingRouteAsync working before the upload. The update did work, without any user data being lost, so no problem here.
However, when using the version from the store, GetDrivingRouteAsync is again not working (same problem as in solution number 1).
Seems to be exactly the same issue as this one:

Cannot login to Oracle Enterprise Manager Express

I have downloaded Oracle Developer Days Database 12c virtualbox image. I can boot it and access the desktop. When I try to log in to Enterprise Manager (EM) Express using the URL http://127.0.0.1:8888/em I am asked to install Adobe Flash. I install it and get to the login screen.
If I try to login as SYSTEM I get the following error:
But when I try to log in as user SYS I get a strange error: Security token does not match. You must login again..
To me it looks like the credentials for SYS are OK, but there is something wrong with the user in the database. Is this correct and if so how can I fix it? Or is EM Express just not setup on the image?
This document from Oracles Metalink solves it. The solution contains 3 steps:
Make sure that XDB_WALLET is recreated successfully.
Make sure XDB is installed successfully and the appropriate roles, EM_EXPRESS_BASIC/ALL is applied.
Use IE 11.0.9600.16476 with compatibility view.
Mark Stewart's answer covers step 2.
The first two steps are not strictly necessary. It looks like they have already been applied to the image in my case. All I had to do was use a different browser. Opera, Chrome, and IE all worked, but Firefox didn't.
The fact that Oracle installs a browser that doesn't work with EM Express and that Adobe Flash is not installed when it's required is very strange.
Set up a personal user ID, grant DBA to it, and try granting EM_EXPRESS_ALL role to your user ID.
After making sure that a desired account has EM_EXPRESS_ALL granted I just accessed Enterprise Manager using New Private Window in Firefox.
In Microsoft Edge, no problem accessing Oracle 12c EM
In Microsoft IE 11, no problem accessing Oracle 12c EM
In Firefox : Security Token does not match
Found a solution for Firefox on Is there a way to make Firefox ignore invalid ssl-certificates?
Go to Tools > Options > Advanced "Tab"(?) > Encryption Tab
Click the "Validation" button, and uncheck the checkbox for checking validity
Be advised though that this is pretty unsecure as it leaves you wide open to accept any invalid certificate. I'd only do this if using the browser on an Intranet where the validity of the cert isn't a concern to you, or you aren't concerned in general.
I faced this because of the cookie data stored by Adobe Flash. Browsing on Private mode or Incognito did not help. Here are the steps to remove the stored data and start using EM on Chrome:
Go to Settings>Advanced>Content Settings>Cookies
Coose See all cookies and site data
In the cookies search box, key in the hostname used to access EM. I run EM on my localhost and hence filtered by localhost:
You can see Flash data being listed
Click on the item to expand and delete the item related to EM:
The same error still exists in 2019 on EM with Chrome Version 76.0.3809.87. My solution is to add EM URL to the "Allow" section in the Cookies section.
Use internet explorer to login to EM .
The other browser are not compatible with enterprise manager
