I have a website that displays a large grid of cards like so:
The problem I'm having is that there is usually a large gap under each card and I don't know how to fix this. I want the cards to be fitted together like a collage or a puzzle.
Here is a link to the source code of the first card.
If you have any questions or requests, please ask me in the comments.
Use flexbox it can help you drag white spaces to make it even with other rows that contain more contents.

Looking for a dataset which would contain all countries with images of their borders without any text data on it.
This is closest to what I want https://www.geoboundaries.org/index.html#tabs1-css
Problem is that these images contain frame and text around country borders:
This could be cut if it always had same dimensions but unfortunately these images differ a lot. Where do I find this kind of dataset?
All credit goes to #Mike, who has commented my original question.
After little tweaks this gets the job done:

And if you're too lazy to look at it, here it is.
*One way would be to prepare all the colorizable elements of your illustration -- the regions within the black lines -- as separate white sprites (PNGs), with the ReplaceColor effect applied. Then when the user clicks in a "color palette" sprite, store the clicked color value as a global value, and assign this to the ReplaceColor effect of any clicked illustration sprite.
Depending on the complexity of your illustration, it could be a fair amount of work to position all the illustration sprites in the appropriate positions in the layout, but it should work.
There may be other options that treat the problem more like paint fills, but I'm not aware of how to do this.* -netdzynr
Sorry for the vague title, I have no idea how to really ask this question to be honest so I'll describe what I'm trying to do
I'm attempting to make an app where users can change the colors of different parts of a car. They can change the door for instance to a green as shown, or any other color they wish. They would then be able to change the color of the hood, or the roof, etc.
I've thought about having seperate images for each component and then lining them up to match. However this seems practically impossible when it comes to different screen sizes and scales. I also thought about making a blanket white image, and then creating views over the top with the selected color.
Does anyone have any ideas how I could possibly approach this?
Thankyou
I dont know about the performance of this. But, how about, an overlay of the different parts of the car, but using the same size of the whole car. For example, you have the image of the whole car, and erase all but the door. In other image, you erase all but the hood. If you lay one image above another, it will make the whole car, and the size of the screen will not affect you, because all the images will have the same size.
Then you can use the tint style to change the color of each layer.
Is there a standardized way to create a multiline toolbar? I'm dinamically loading the items and they are usually more than enough to make the toolbar overflow. But I don't want the overflow functionality, I just want the items to span several lines. As the items are loaded dinamically, I can not create several stacked toolbars beforehand. An observation: I switched the layout from the implicit default 'hbox' to 'auto' and the items do span several lines, but then, features like separators have undesired collateral efects, like having only one item or separator on each line, and also different looks in different browsers.
I could dinamically calculate the suposed total width of the items and divide by the max desired width of a toolbar to obtain the number of toolbars I need, but I don't know exactly at what point the items get a valid useful width.
This is an old question posted by someone else sometime ago. I'm re-asking because perhaps with the latests releases of Ext JS, they shiped 'undocumentedly' the sooo needed layout solution for this issue.
Thanks!
I don't think there is an out of box component that can do all of the things you want.
The default toolbar layout of HBox just places everything horizontally spaced.
If you know that you need more space you can always put in a container with whatever layout you want for it's items. You can get creative and nest all kinds of layouts.
Personally I think this would end up looking ugly. Perhaps there is a better solution with an alternative approach to your design needs.
I need to provide space between cells in UITableview. And I am also posting an image which consists of here two cells.I have gone through previous posts, but I am unable to find a suitable answers.
Thanks coders
There are several ways to achieve this, and none as simple as you may expect, the two ways that come to my mind right know are:
Define your custom cell to add an space on bottom by playing with the foreground background. If you dont need the space (for instance at the last cell) resize the cell to hide it.
Use a grouped table with one section per cell so you can use that section as space
