I have one .ics file in which there is some event in it and i m sending this to user. So when user clicks on the file it is asking him/her for the confirmation to add event. I just want to remove that stage. That means the event should get auto confirmed and set it in the user calendar.
If any other solution then also appreciated.
Thanks

In Google Calendar, I can select an event, click on "publish event", and obtain a URL that another user can use to add the event to their calendar. However, that is a static copy of my event. If I edit my event, the edits are not propagated to the other user's calendar. How can one add an event from another calendar, and then have that event dynamically updated whenever the original is edited?
One approach is to invite every single participant, so that they can individually accept or decline the event. However, that is burdensome when the attendee list is unknown, large, or changes frequently.
This answer is not relevant because I am starting from a Google Calendar, not programmatically creating an iCal event feed.
This answer from 2010 says to manually export the .ics file, put it on a website, advertise it to users, and manually update the served .ics file periodically. Is there a better way today?
As we are able to track OnSend event on send button. Is it possible to track delete event on delete button while deleting the event? Please see the below screenshot for the same.

Currently delete event is not a part of the product.
We track Outlook add-in feature requests on our user-voice page. Please add your request there. Feature requests on user-voice are considered, when we go through our planning process.
I'm trying to get the event when the developer/tester/admin click on the messenger plugin to start the chat.
these are the selected event with my app:
Selected events: messages, messaging_postbacks, messaging_optins
from these 3 events, two are working perfectly. but messaging_optins isn't working.
from the documentation:
https://developers.facebook.com/docs/messenger-platform/reference/webhook-events/messaging_optins
This callback will occur when the send to Messenger plugin has been
tapped, a user has accepted a message request using customer matching,
or a user has opted in to receive messages via the checkbox plugin.
I'm tapping on the start chat button with a different developer account. but every time it fails to send me the webhook for this. but other 2 hooks are working perfectly!
Can you guys please help me with that?
We are using SharePoint Calendar of Office365/OWA to book Conference Room. We are trying to auto-populate the name of Room in calendar event new form.
We have setup a link in our intranet portal, when user clicks on this, it automatically opens the new calendar event form, but we need to auto select specific room.
How can I achieve this? Please provide me suggestions/ideas on this.
You'll have to create an Outlook web add-in to do this. Here's a good example:
https://msdn.microsoft.com/EN-US/library/office/dn574750.aspx
But note that there are no events that fire when the new calendar event is created, so you cannot auto-select a room. But you could simply put a button in your add-in's UI to choose the correct room for the user.
The Windows 10 mail app also displays your calendar if youre configured for an Exchange server. Any idea if it's possible to add a subscribed calendar -- i.e. a shared calendar sent with a link like webcal://...? I sure don't find anything obvious in the "New Accounts" options or via internet search
Go to http://calendar.live.com and log into your account
Click “Import” on the top bar then click “Subscribe” on the left
Paste your iCal feed into “Calendar URL”
Click “Subscribe” to add the feed

I have been able to get an ical/webcal in after a few attempts:
All you need to do is add your calendars to your live mail account.
Then remove and readd the account from your Windows 10 Calendar, and you will see them in there.
So it is not a direct method, but it works :)
Instructions updated for March 2020:
First, subscribe to the calendar at Outlook.com:
Go to https://outlook.live.com/calendar/ and log in
Click Add calendar on the left sidebar
Click Subscribe from web on the left sidebar of the dialog that appears
Paste in your iCal URL, add a calendar name if you want, and click Import
Then, if you haven't already add your Outlook.com account (Calendar > Settings > Manage Accounts > Add account) to your Windows 10 Calendar app. Note that your subscribed calendars will not appear under the default Microsoft account calendar.
Then, in Calendar, press the Ellipsis at the top right and press Sync.
