Setting up German language support for Pepper Robot and installing App Launcher - nao-robot

Yesterday we did a factory reset for our Pepper robot and we think it was successful. Now we wish to set up German language support in the robot. I googled some ways of doing that and found that I could set up a second language for the robot from the robot's registered account at Softbank's website which I did as you can see.
But this feature did not reflect on the robot even after the reboot. Can someone please help me with this issue. Thanks in advance.

Once the language has been installed, you need to open the settings of your robot and change the language there.

In my experience, if the update does not trigger for some reason, try installing an arbitrary app from the application store, and then press the "send signal" button under 'manage' to force an update. Sometimes this seems to be needed needed. After the update in triggered and the app and language is installed, the app can be uninstalled.

How do you check your web apps look like?

I've created a basic web-app which guides user to decide first programming language. I've created my project checking through Google Dev Tools iPhone6 view since I'm using iPhone6 also but in real iPhones appearance is not even look close. Is this annoyance only for me or for everyone also? or is there better way to design a web app for mobile? Pepper not respoding to Dialog

I am using Naoqi's dialogs and using multiple topics. I checked with
ALDialog.getAllLoadedTopics and ALDialog.getActivatedTopics
They both show that my topics are loaded and activated. But Pepper doesn't respond to most of the activated topics. When I enter the same text on the Dialog input on Choregraphe, pepper replies correctly but not using voice commands.
I guess the Speech Recognition is in a weird state ? this has happened to me before during development, and issuing a "nao restart" to reload naoqi does solve the issue.
For me mostly is happening when I switched between two languages in another package. To avoid add set language and speech recognition language to your target language. It should work.

Would someone be able to test my website checkout in IE7?

Would someone be able to test my website checkout in IE7? It is www.FoundersTelecom.com. Please add any item to your cart and try to check out. A military customer with super old browser just reported that the checkout screen formatting is all messed up and unusable. I am unable to test on that browser. Thank you so much!!

Best practices dictate that you shouldn't cater to users that are still running browsers that are no longer supported. Microsoft dropped support for IE7 a long time ago, and allowing users to use deprecated browsers will open you up to security issues.
That being said, check out IETester if you are a Windows user. It will emulate older versions of IE.

Silverlight on ipad

What are the current possibilities to run silverlight on the iPad please ?
Other than the video streaming MS demo of course.
If there's no official packages or something, I'm interested in hacks too
Thanks
Have a look at this article:

Also, perhaps you can give us more of an idea what you are trying to achieve with silverlight for a more detailed answer?
You should also bear in mind that the main issue is the support on the apple devices - a political decisions by Apple. There are ways and means to get the support unofficially, but I can vouch for them being flawed and as good as useless.
NO. There isn't anything available right now...
Try alternative solution.
With ABYTY Browser you can run any Flash and Silverlight apps for business and entertainment like on desktop.
For view Silverlight or Flash on your iPhone (iPad, iPod) you not need of jailbreaking it or installing any applications from the App Store or Cydia. You not need install flash player or silverlight on your iphone. Simply open link ABYTY Browser from iDevice and follow appeared instructions. At this moment it little bit ugly and not have sound, but working in basic on iPhone and iPod too.

wpf app appears to be blocking extended screen functionality on hp laptop

I ran into a strange issue where "fn_key -- F4" combination on my hp laptop to extend the screen would stop working once I have a wpf application running. This happens even when I create an empty app -- as soon as I run it, I can't extend my desktop to a second monitor.
Thanks!
Sounds like an issue with your video driver. What kind of video card is it? Are you running the latest drivers from the vendor?
The problem was a driver issue (as Drew mentioned above).
To diagnose an issue like this, please follow the instructions from the MSDN article (http://msdn.microsoft.com/en-us/library/aa970912.aspx) on how to disable hardware acceleration and render everything in software.
Provided your issue is similar to what I have experienced, you will be able to single out the problem by adding the necessary registry key from the article.
