Is there any specific way of finding out the Hybris version of a server.
I know that the hybris version appears in logs during server startup but I was wondering if it can be found somewhere in hac or backoffice. That way I will be able lookup the version deployed on a specific test machine.
I also know about the hac foot note which opens the popup mentioning the OS, the number of CPUs, and the version. But for older versions of Hybris the version is not included.
You can check the hybris version by navigating to hybris\bin\platform and opening the file named build.number. It should have content similar to the below content :

You can see the platform version from hac -> Platform -> Configuration and look for the build.version property. The value should be the hybris version, and I think that still work for 5.x versions.
Or you can download some console logs to check for the startup version (using the uptime as a guide for what to download) also via hac -> Platform -> Support
Also, when the Hybris server starts, you can check the version. It would look something like this-

You can go to hac > Platform > Configuration and search for version.
There are two more options that can be used:
"ant -p" should render also the Hybris Version
Open hybris/data/build.number

I am using Eclipse 2020-06 (I have made a fresh install of Eclipse instead of upgrading it from an earlier version of Eclipse) and JDK 8 (1.8.0_261). My OS is Windows 10.
JAVA_HOME is set to C:\Program Files\Java\jdk1.8.0_261
When I download "Codename One" plugin from Eclipse Marketplace it shows the version as 6.0 and it says "Installed" at the end of the installation process.
However, when I go to "Help -> Eclipse IDE -> Installation Details" under Eclipse, CodenameOneFeature version is listed as: 1.0.0.201409151325
When I select CodenameOneFeature from this list and hit Update, it says "No updates found". So basically I cannot force it to update to 6.0.
I can confirm that I have the earlier version installed also from the setting of the Codename One projects I create: when I go to Properties -> Java Compiler, the compliance level is set to 1.5 (also 1.5 is used in build.xml file).
BTW, I have also tried installing Eclipse 2019-06 (instead of 2020-06) and/or installing JDK 10 (instead of JDK 8) and/or modifying the eclipse.ini (by adding -vm option) so that it uses the version of JDK I want (instead of setting JAVA_HOME). But no combination of those has solved the problem.

I found the problem. I broke the update site with a commit a couple of weeks ago. This should be fixed in a couple of hours once server caches refresh.

With Eclipse at this time we only support JDK 8. We're experiencing issues in updating the eclipse plugin to the latest version. Once installed I think you can also use JDK 11 but it doesn't matter since we don't support JDK 11 features.
Once a reasonably new version of the plugin is installed you can press update in Codename One Settings and it will update our libraries to the latest version equivalent to the other IDEs.
During 3 days I have been trying to install mongo BD in AWS ec2 instance, today finally managed to install it in Ubuntu, now I can't launch it in AWS environment, after numerous attempts to check the status in aws environment terminal I get errors:
What I have already tried do:
installed mongodb on Ubuntu 16.04 (Xenial)
launch mongo as a service (Ubuntu)
sudo service mongod start
sudo service mongod status
Go to AWS environment and do attempts to check if I'm connected to DB, and get errors:
sudo: mongod: command not found
mongod: unrecognized service
sudo: apt-get: command not found
bash: mongo: command not found

I am pretty sure that Шоира is dealing not with Ubuntu OS but Amazon Linux or so.
So, if she is dealing with Community Edition version of it, the actual docs for every *nix based OS can be found here (MongoDB Docs)
And if I remember this fact correctly, AWS instances comes with Amazon Linux by default, so the documentation guide should been read for Amazon Linux (here), not Ubuntu.
To ensure that she is using Amazon Linus, she must type command grep ^NAME /etc/*release in terminal. If so, the reply should be: Amazon Linux or Amazon Linux AMI
Also, I don't know does it matter or not, but MongoDB Atlas provides also free-tier (as EC2 instance) servers in (almost) every data centers from GCP / Azure / AWS, so sometimes it's better to dealing with Cloud Service (which includes Compass and Realms by default, out of the box) instead of using the Community edition of the -raw DB, and write code and https API for it, later.

Thus, please double check and ensure that you follow the instructions from the link. The instructions are correct.
Also please make sure to use Ubuntu 16.04:
This means that, you are trying to connect to the mongod process running on the local host which is binded on the default port of 27017
I'm a front-end developer and I need to do a Ckan Theme. To do so, I need a working source install of CKAN on my system. I'm using Mint 18.1 and installing Ckan 2.6.2.
Following the steps of the installation of ckan's docs I've got a warning and an error at step 6 as shown on the image.
As you can see the last line says SOLR schema version not supported: 2.7. Supported versions are [2.3] and I can't proceed with the installation. Searching on the Internet I found people having the same problem, but using Docker (have no idea what is this) and their solutions didn't work for me.
Because I have a really short time to build this theme I gave up CKAN 2.6.2 and installd 2.5.2 and everything worked fine.
The SOLR schema that comes with CKAN 2.6.2 is version 2.3, so somehow you have got 2.7, which is provided with later versions of CKAN. Maybe you installed CKAN master and the schema is lingering from then.
Here are some steps so that you can find out where the problem is:
You can check the version of the schema in the CKAN source repo on your disk:
grep 'name="ckan" version=' /usr/lib/ckan/default/src/ckan/ckan/config/solr/schema.xml
You would have then installed this file into Solr (in Step 5, using the 'ln' command). You can check the version in Solr:
grep 'name="ckan" version=' /etc/solr/conf/schema.xml
(When this file is changed, you need to restart SOLR (i.e. jetty) for it to take effect - see the docs again).
You can see what schema SOLR is actually using:

It sounds like your Docker container for SOLR is a newer version than that is not compatible with CKAN 2.6.2.
I tried trying to install mongodb and php extension on my server with Ubuntu 14.04 and plesk 12.5 but without success of php extension. Anyone can help me with a simple tutorial on how to install mongodb driver and Mongo db php extension on my dedicated server?

Mind that you install every PHP version independently with its own extensions.

You probably found a reference from somebody's code where they are using a local repository. As of November 11, 2016, mssql-jdbc is in Maven central. Much nicer to work with. It would appear that the 4.x versions are no longer officially available. All reference links that I have are redirecting to their new JDBC homepage.
Version 4 is not in Maven central, so you'd have to obtain it and use it locally. Here are the SQL Server JDBC drivers in Maven Repo.
