Configuring EDI Validation by Message Type - azure-logic-apps

In a Logic Apps workflow, I am working with a customer on an 856 that does not require segment PRF, element 1 which is otherwise required. I have found out how to set up the Agreement's receive settings to skip enough of the 856 validations to allow it through.
However, I figure this suppresses validation I do want. Is it possible to do something more fine-grained in the validation? For instance, can I configure a 856 message type that is just like industry standard 856, save the requirement of this one element?

The validation settings in the Agreement only cover a few global settings, like leading and trailing spaces.
You can fully customize any specific transaction by modifying it's schema before uploading to you IA.
In this case, open the 865 Schema in Visual Studio and do two things:
On the <Schema> node, change Target Namespace to something you app owns, like uri:MyApp. This is to differentiate it from the default schemas.
Navigate to PRF under HLLoop1. Set Max Occurs to 0. The default (blank) is 1.
Replace the Schema in the Integration Account and PRF will no longer be required when 856 is received for this Agreement.

VK_FORMAT_FEATURE_COLOR_ATTACHMENT_BLEND_BIT on swapchain ImageViews

I updated my nVidia drivers and suddenly started getting the following validation error:
VUID-vkCmdDrawIndexed-blendEnable-04727(ERROR / SPEC): msgNum:
-1979288290 - Validation Error: [ VUID-vkCmdDrawIndexed-blendEnable-04727 ] Object 0: handle =
0x5eb05e000000003b, type = VK_OBJECT_TYPE_PIPELINE; | MessageID =
0x8a06751e | vkCmdDrawIndexed: Image view's format features of the
color attachment (0) of the active subpass do not contain
VK_FORMAT_FEATURE_COLOR_ATTACHMENT_BLEND_BIT bit, but active
pipeline's pAttachments[0].blendEnable is not VK_FALSE. The Vulkan
spec states: If rasterization is not disabled in the bound graphics
pipeline, then for each color attachment in the subpass, if the
corresponding image view's format features do not contain
VK_FORMAT_FEATURE_COLOR_ATTACHMENT_BLEND_BIT, then the blendEnable
member of the corresponding element of the pAttachments member of
pColorBlendState must be VK_FALSE
(https://vulkan.lunarg.com/doc/view/1.3.211.0/windows/1.3-extensions/vkspec.html#VUID-vkCmdDrawIndexed-blendEnable-04727)
Things still render correctly, but I'd like to fix the validation issue.
I am a bit confused as to how I set the VK_FORMAT_FEATURE_COLOR_ATTACHMENT_BLEND_BIT flag or if its part of the format vkGetPhysicalDeviceSurfaceFormatsKHR returns.
If it's the former, how do i set it and if it's the latter, how do i draw to it with blending enabled and not get validation errors?
Thank you!
Format features are not something you set; they're limitations that the Vulkan implementation informs you that you must work within. In particular, format features are properties that restrict how you may use any image with a particular combination of format, tiling, and so forth.
Swapchain images are subject to the same limitations as user-created images. The specification details what the equivalent VkImageCreateInfo would be for a particular vkCreateSwapchainKHR call. So those are the parameters you will need to send to vkGetPhysicalDeviceFormatProperties to see if your implementation supports some particular use of the swapchain image.
Blending is such a use. Apparently, whatever format you used to use allowed blending under the old driver, but this changed. And your code never verified that it was allowed.
Well, I missed another validation error that gave me the clue to find the issue. I had to update the VkApplicationInfo apiVersion to VK_API_VERSION_1_3. Leaving the answer here in case it helps anyone else.

How to remove all keywords except specific from robot framework test report

I want to limit the keywords that are reported in the output.xml / log.html
Something like, I don't want to log keywords like SET VARIABLE or QUERY, etc., but log only specific keywords that create a meaningful test report
checked multiple questions on StackOverflow
How can I prevent the logging of all keywords except Log keyword in robot framework?
How can I tell robot framework not to log a keyword?
This provides a very close answer at the end, but it is not working and getting into the LOGGER is perhaps not my cup of tea
Have tried FlattenKeywords, removekeywords options, but they dont completely help, as I need more dynamic control over the logging
Tried the SET LOG LEVEL keyword also, but that just removes the information within the keyword, does not remove the whole keyword
Expected results should log only the specific keywords that i mention in the script, something like only the checkpoints are reported and not all the steps
If --removekeywords and --flattenkeywords don't work for you, I can think of two possible solutions.
For one, you could write your own script to filter out all the keywords you don't want from output.xml, and then generate the log.html and report.html after you've run the filter.
You could also create your own log file. You can create a listener that can decide at runtime whether a keyword should be logged or not. You can then write the keyword information to your own custom log file.

How can I keep changes in the index when I use DIH fullimport?

I'm using Solr 6.5 to index files from multiples ftp files into multiples cores (having one core for each type of document, like audio file, image, software, video and documents).
The situation is that I'm doing this to populate an app that in its front end has a social networking approach in which every user can add new tags or modify other metadata without restriction.
So when I execute again data import handler to add new files to my application, it erase the index that previosly was modified for the user and set up with the data-config default configuration.
My question: is there a way to tell DIH, if the id exists, continues without importing and just adds the files which don't have an id in the index?
If this is not possible, can I do something similar in a different way?
Thanks for everything!
Sounds like you are doing a full import with default settings. One of them is clean, which defaults to true and deletes the whole index before the import.
Try setting it to false and also look at preImportDeleteQuery and postImportDeleteQuery for even more precision.

ClearCase Checkin Message

In ClearCase GUI, when I tried to check-in, an empty comment field will be shown, which I can fill in check-in messages.
Is it possible to set template for this message?
For example, when the team need to checkin, below message will be shown, and each team member can just fill in the commit message.

There is no native template mechanism that I know of.
You can try and see if the ClearCase environment variables could help, like setting in a pre-op checkin trigger a:
CLEARCASE_CMNT_PN
The path name of the file in which cleartool and multitool cache the most recent user-supplied comment. Defining or removing this EV enables or disables comment caching.
(and make sure that file contains a message template)
That thread from 2005 though mentions:
The CLEARCASE_* environment variables are effectively read only (changes to them have no effect.)
Some potential options are:
A) reject comments that do not meet your template and make the user fix them and redo the checkin/out
B) put a wrapper around checkout/in operations to meet your template needs
C) use 'ct chevent' to change the comment during a postop trigger
D) use attributes, hlinks, or labels to store the information instead of using the comment field. (You can apply the attributes, hlinks, or labels during the preop)
I'm thinking that C or D might be your better choices.

Sitecore country ISO in url

I have created a site with multiple languages in sitecore... I the content editor (system > languages) I have specified three languages (Dutch, English and German). No I have 2 problems.
When an item has, for example: an English version but no German and Dutch version and I type the address to the German site: www.testsite.com/de I get the German site, but without content. In this case I want a 404 page to be shown.
Another problem is when I go to language that is not specified in system > language and also on the item is still get an empty site. In this case I also want a 404 page to be shown. Sitecore shows the page as long as it is a valid ISO-code.
I'm using Sitecore 6.4
Does anybody has a solution for these problem(s)?
Thanks in advance!

My LinkManager is specified as follows in the Web.config:
<add name="sitecore" type="Sitecore.Links.LinkProvider, Sitecore.Kernel" addAspxExtension="true" alwaysIncludeServerUrl="false" encodeNames="true" languageEmbedding="asNeeded" languageLocation="filePath" shortenUrls="true" useDisplayName="false"/>
Unfortunately you have to manage both of these scenarios manually in Sitecore, they both have quite simple solutions but will require some development on your part.
For the first (accessing of pages without translations) I think you would need to extend the current ItemResolver within Sitecore and have it explicitly check that a version exists for the language that has been selected. I haven't implemented that myself but that's how I'd look at handling it.
The second (only accepting certain languages) is something I have handled, and it really bothered me that Sitecore couldn't handle it itself (though perhaps it does and I missed it). For this I created a step in the pipeline immediately after the LanguageResolver called PermissableLanguageChecker. This checks to see if the current language of the request is one of certain allowable values, and if it isn't it sets the language back to the default language, or in your case throw a 404.
For the "allowable values", I read them from the site config with a new property there:
<site name="website" ... permissableLanguages="pl-PL,en" language="pl-PL" ... />
That permissableLanguages property is handy as we can also use it later on in the site when presenting a language selection control to the user.
You may want to take a look at the Language Fallback module in the Sitecore Shared Source Library. As it covers some of your scenarios.
