I have developed my app using codename one.User Interface of my application looks different in Android and IOS.Some textboxes size gets change .Images looks different in android and IOS .Every thing should display same and properly for all OS.What should I do for that?
Thanks in advance

That is intentional: https://www.codenameone.com/blog/tutorial-theming-basics.html
You need to override the elements that look different, you can install an Android simulator and preview in both Android and iOS to get the desired result. You can also switch the mode of the designer tool to display the UI as it would appear on an Android device.

How to configure a specific setting of ios or android phone in th background if my react native app is open in foreground?

First of all I'm new as React-Native programmer. Currently I want to add a button to my React-Native(Expo) app, in which the user can turn off or on a setting. Is this possible and if so, how can I do that? For example in Android > Settings > Mobile Networks > Turn off mobile roaming?
Thank you in advance
I have tried to use HeadlessJS or a module called background actions. But there are no well documented examples and I also don't know if those modules answer my question. Because my task is more "straightforward" since I keep the app running in the foreground.

Use a Codename One app for a tv box with tv remote control

I tried to install a Codename One app on a tv box that runs Android 7. It works, except the fact that I cannot use the tv remote control to switch from a Button to another (I need to enable the mouse pointer simulation to tap the Buttons, that is not user friendly).
Any idea to manage this use case? Or the problem is that I'm using a BrowserComponent?
I’ve just published in the Play Store my first Codename One app for Android TV (I hope that it will be approved). I confirm that it can be used with the tv remote control if I do a simple navigabile UI, that can be tested in the Simulator using the arrows. I’ve done tests with an Android TV Box. My problem was that I used a BrowserComponent, that then I replaced with a simple standard UI composed of Buttons.

Iphone resolution on ipad howto using codename one?

I've submitted a CN1 generated app to apple's app store and got an error:
Binary Rejected
Guideline 2.4.1 - Performance - Hardware Compatibility We noticed that your app did not run at iPhone resolution when reviewed on iPad.
I was wondering if there's a build hint I cant set to make the app show a narrow interface on an ipad? many thanks!
It's probably similar to this: iPhone only app rejected for not running on iPad
You can constrain the app to be iPhone only in the Codename One Settings UI under the iOS settings section.

Custom Fonts on Opera Mobile Emulator

I am working on a Responsive Coming Soon page. It looks quite fine on several devices like iPad or iPhone, but to test them on multiple platform I am using Opera Mobile Emulator.
It is not detecting the Custom Font retrieved from Google Font API used in CSS. It's rather showing the fallback font come as default given within CSS. Problem is within emulator I can not see if the font has been loaded or not using the resources timeline.
Was testing the Emulator for Samsung Galazy Nexus.
What might be the reason behind this? Can anyone help? Thanks in advance.
From what I can tell from this page: http://dev.opera.com/articles/view/opera-mini-web-content-authoring-guidelines/#typography Opera mini doesn't support custom fonts, specifically:
setting font-family will have no effect

Mobile devices web browser simulator

I'm looking for iPhone, iPad, Android and other mobile and smartphones web browsers simulators on x86. I would like to check how my web application written for standard web browser will be displayed on these devices.
The dev kits for these platforms include platform emulators, in which you can run the browser for that platform and load your web site to see how it will look.

I'm programming a web application for mobile and I use JQueryMobile.
You can have more informations here :

if you just want to quickly view how a webpage would render at various mobile device resolutions then synthphone.com is a nice little webpage...
http://synthphone.com
you can even link directly to a url via query strings. for example, here is one that should load the Sencha Touch 2 carousel. Use your mouse like a finger to slide around the images etc.

have fun!
