i have two instances: Adventure and instance2 also I added instance name in msdtsrvr.ini but it didn't fix the issue
thank you

The ssis service does not support multiple instances. SSIS will be configured to managed packages on the first instance installed on the machine or the default instance. There is some more information about that here:
https://msdn.microsoft.com/en-us/library/ms137789.aspx
This applies to versions < 2012. 2012 and up support this storage model for backwards compatibility or you could convert to the project deployment model.

Can't connect to Azure SQL Server from 1/3 of our servers

I was trying to create a linked server from an on-premises SQL Server (BadMachine1), to an Azure SQL Server.
Code for creating the linked server
EXEC sp_addlinkedserver D365BI_Testing, '', 'SQLNCLI11', #datasrc='blabla.database.windows.net', #catalog = 'DbName'

Created fine, but when testing connection on BadMachine1, this error message:

OK, tested on two other machines we have (GoodMachine1, GoodMachine2) - all of these are in the same data center. The test connection succeeded on both GoodMachine1 and GoodMachine2, and I could successfully write a query from Goodmachine1 and GoodMachine2's SQL Server, to the Azure SQL Server.
Next test:
Tried logging into each of the 3 machines, and opening up SSMS to try to connect to the Azure SQL Db. Connection worked on GoodMachine1 & GoodMachine2. Failed on BadMachine1, with the following error message.

I don't have access to check, but I'm told the firewall rules are OK on the Azure side.
There are some characteristics that differ among the 3 machines:
BadMachine1: ODBC Driver 11, old "Microsoft AS OLE DB Provider for SQL Server 2014". SQL Server 2014
GoodMachine1: ODBC Drivers 11, 13, 17, no OLE driver. SQL Server 2016
GoodMachine2: ODBC Driver 13, recent install of OLE driver. SQL Server 2016
Could the old ODBC driver on BadMachine1 be it? Other ideas? Apologies in advance, I've never tired to setup a linked server before, and don't really know what I'm doing very well.
Turns out our IT was blocking those outbound connections from BadMachine1. Now that they're unblocked, the linked server works fine.

How to fix missing SQL connection manager in SSIS

I am trying to create an OLE DB connection in SSIS that I want to use for this package I am building which basically is supposed to do an ETL having it's source from Excel and the output in a SQL table. However, I am getting the error as below when trying to connect to the server and check in. I am using windows authentication and trying to connect locally using the '.' I also couldn't find the sql server configuration manager in my computer. I reinstalled my management studio 2018 version, but the didn't fix it either. Any insights would help on resolving this issue.
Thanks

SSIS OLEDB Connection Manager - Unable to connect to a database (No database names appear)

I am trying to create a connection manager in Microsoft SQL Server Data Tools for Visual Studio 2017 (SSDT) for an integration services project.
In the Connection Manager:
The Provider is set to: Native OLE DB\SQL Server Naive Client 11.0
The Server name is set to: the name of the local machine
Log on to the server is set to: Windows Authentication
Connect to a database is set to: Select or enter a database name. However no database names appear in the drop down box - the drop down box is blank. I am expecting the name of the database i am working on, including the master database etc to be present.
When I Test Connection, I get an error message which says:
'Test connection failed because of an error in initializing provider. Login timeout expired
A network-related or instance-specific error has occurred while establishing a connection to SQL Server. Server is not found or not accessible. Check if instance name is correct and if SQL Server is configured to allow remote connections. For more information see SQL Server Books Online.
Named Pipes Provider: Could not open a connection to SQL Server [2]..'
I am using SQL Server 2017 and Microsoft SQL Server Management Studio 18.
Allow remote connections has been ticked in SSMS.
The only thing i can see is the SQL Server Agent and SQL Server Browser has stopped / is not running and the TCP/IP Protocols for SQLEXPRESS is set to disabled - I am unable to enable it without a further Access is denied (0x80070005) error.
I have tried to follow all of the guides but cannot progress. Could somebody please offer some further guidance?
I have resolved the issue. It was an extremely silly oversight! On installation, the server name in the Visual Studio 17 Connection Manager was listed as: Local MachineName only. In SQL Server, the Server Name was listed as: LocalMachineName\SQLEXPRESS. The Server Name in VS17 has to be exactly the same as SQL Server. As i said, this is a very silly oversight on my part but have documented for future reference.

Cannot execute SSIS package in SQL Server 2016

I've seen this posted several times, but none of the fixes are working from my instance. I'm using SSDT 2015 to create the package and deploying to a network server using SQL Server 2016. The package target server version is set to SQL Server 2016 and I've changed the run time from 64 to 32 bit (not sure if this is needed, but listed as a fix for this issue). The connection managers are using my local server (different from the server the package is being executed from) and the network server where the package is being deployed. I'm able to successfully run the package in SSDT 2015, but when deployed to the server I get the errors below stating that the connection to my local server could not be established. I the validation of the connection and the data flow to delay validation and the first two tasks run, but again, it cannot connect to my local. Since I'm running the package with my credentials, I'm not sure why it cannot connect. I am a system admin for both Server instances and I've ensured that my login has ssis_admin role assigned on SSISDB. Any assistance would be greatly appreciated.

Just to update everyone, this was issues that had issues and they had their issues. First, the Integration Services on the network server had been stopped due to logon error, first major issue. Second, in order to allow the network server to have access to my local server, I had to open the configuration manager on my local SQL instance and enable TCP/IP under the configuration settings for my 2016 instance. At this point, I needed to run netstat on the command prompt using my SQL Server Instance ID to determine if it is listening to port 1433. To ensure remote access, I then had to add rules to my firewall to allow TCP 1433, UDP 1434, sqlservr.exe, and sqlbrowser.exe. Once this was all completed, I was then able to connect to my local server through ssms on the network server. Using the proxy account I created for SQLAgent, I the job was then able to process successfully.

SQL Server services not running on startup

I have a machine that no matter what when installing SQL Server 2014 Express, I get the following error installing:

Product Update:
Product Update has successfully applied KB 3058865 http://support.microsoft.com/?id=3058865. These updates have set the patch level of the Setup operation to 12.1.4100.0.
I have totally removed SQL Server from the registry, raised the user to an admin,
raised folder rights to full access in Users\default and in all users concerned with SQL Server.
Does anyone have any ideas?
