Why when we generate project with '--skip-server'
yo jhipster --skip-server
part of authentication is lost. (on AJS/A2).It's right?
Everytime i need to paste part code (AuthServerProvider on Angular or authExpiredInterceptor on AngularJS) for working home page
Because you did not specify which authentication type you want with --auth option.
See the doc or run jhipster client --help.
So in your case, you should run: jhipster client --auth=jwt for JWT authentication or the one you want.

I wanted to deploy a react application which is a simple auth0 login page and on localhost:3000, eveything works fine, I can click the login button and everything works, it sends me to the auth0 login page.
Here is the part im stuck at:
When I push to Github and deploy to netlify and try to open it using the link netlify gave me, I click the login button and I get this in the URL bar: https://undefined/authorize?redirect_uri=
I have checked both the .env file in the app and on Netlify in the environments section and everything has the proper env variables. here is where I am testing it: https://reactjssample-324hz.netlify.app/
Here are the URIs I have setup:
Allowed Callback URLs:
http://localhost:3000,https://reactjssample-324hz.netlify.app
Allowed Logout URLs:
http://localhost:3000,https://reactjssample-324hz.netlify.app
Allowed Web Origins:
http://localhost:3000,https://reactjssample-324hz.netlify.app
Please tell me if I need to include anything such as code snippets.
EDIT: 06/01/2022
I have added the domain and clientID to the index.js file but now I am getting this when I click the login button:
Netlify 404 page not found although I have this in the URL bar now: https://tubular-klepon-a1d5fc.netlify.app/authorize?client_id= which I assume is better than what I had before.
EDIT: 06/02/2022
Here are the endpoint settings I have for my application

Look like you have not configured the YOUR_DOMAIN in the application. Let try to configure it with value reactjssample-324hz.netlify.app
And do not forget to configure the customer domain reactjssample-324hz.netlify.app in Auth0 platform.
configure YOUR_DOMAIN
Hope it can help.
Current state: Depending on the npm start script, my web app is accessible by at the http:// address, or the https:// address, but not both.
Goal: I'd like the app to run on https://, and for any http:// requests to be redirected to https://.
App info: The web app is created with Sails for the server, and create-react-app for the UI. To run locally, I use two terminals to start each up (server on :1337, UI on :3000). To run in prod, I build the UI and copy the build into the server folder, then start the server on :84 (:80 already taken).
What I've tried:
I've tried adding redirection on the Sails server by adding middleware and policies.
I've tried adding redirection on the UI by adding a script in the HTML header, checking for window.location.protocol in index.js, adding to the http-proxy-middleware, and using react-https-redirect.
In all cases, I'm able to access the app if I go to the https:// address, but get err_empty_response from the http:// one. None of my http:// requests seem to even reach the app or server.
I've heard that using NGINX as a load-balancer may solve this, but I'm hoping for a solution that doesn't require as much set up. Any suggestions?
I'm using Nextjs for a front-end application and dotnet core 3.1 for the Web API. There are some pages that are static and other that are dynamic I followed the official documentation to achieve this. On development mode (local machine) everything works fine. Both static and dynamic routes are working properly and fetching data from the dontnet core Web API.
However, when publishing the Nextjs app following this steps:
yarn build
yarn export
An out folder is generated at the root of the project
The content of that folder is uploaded to the server
After, the deployed files are uploaded and when loging to the app, it redirects to the main page (until here is working OK), but as soon as I click on the reload page botton (Chrome) I am gettint the 404 error.
Looking at the console in the developer tools I got this:
I found this Stackoverflow link with same issue but there the answer is to use Express for server routing. In my case I am using dotnet core Web API for server requests. So, not sure how to do that.
Is there a way to fix this from the client side? Might be a configuration is missing?
The only thing I noticed while doing the export was a message saying: No "exportPathMap" found. Not sure if that would the the reason.
I had got similar issue in react when all of my pages after building and exporting had ".html" extensions. I solved it by the following code in next.config.js file.
next.config.js
module.exports = {
exportTrailingSlash: true,
}
Note: Do not work with the above code while in development. Use it just before building the project.
You can find the documentation link here: https://nextjs.org/docs/api-reference/next.config.js/exportPathMap#adding-a-trailing-slash.
UPDATE
The above code was for next.js v9.3.4 which I was using at that time. For newer versions below code should be used according to docs.
next.config.js
module.exports = {
trailingSlash: true,
}
it has been fixed update your nextjs package
npm install next#latest
based on the current version of Next js you have, visit here to see if there's any breaking change before updating what you have
I had a similar issue where after deploying the out folder created by next export all URL's would redirect me to the homepage. Everything was working fine during development and all URL's were accessible with next/link but in order to access pages with a URL I had to add a .html extension at the end of the URL.
Because I needed a quick workaround I added a useEffect block in the _app.tsx file for rerouting so that upon landing on the homepage it would act as if a Link component was clicked redirecting to the entered URL.
useEffect(()=>{
router.push(window.location.href)
},[])
When running my spring app from my IDE and running the React app from within VSCode, everything worked perfectly. I used the build script to build my React project, and then put the output into my /static folder of Spring. Then I used mvn clean install to build the .jar file. After running the entire app from the .jar file, I can access my homepage with localhost:5000. I can also use my navbar links to access different parts of the website, like the Home page and the About page... But if I try to manually enter the url localhost:5000/about I get a 404 Not found error.. What am I doing wrong?
My guess is that your Spring (webmvc?) application is not configured to listen to different URLs other than /. And while it may seem as if the navbar successfully redirects to http://localhost:5000/about, in reality the single page application uses JavaScript client-side routing to change the URL in the browser, unload the currently rendered page, and load another page.
If you are indeed using Spring MVC, you could (among other options) modify your Spring static resource configuration, modify your #RequestMapping to listen to multiple endpoints, or use a ViewControllerRegistry.
I have an Asp.NET WebAPI project and a ReactJS app stored under <web-root>\app.
The react app itself is expecting a parameter passed in the URL
http://web-root/app/my-super-parameter.
How do I configure the routing in the ASP.NET app itself so it ignores that app folder and calls it as it is? Right now I'm getting a 404 error when calling the URL.
When creating the ReactApp I use http://localhost:5000/my-super-parameter and it works as needed. The time came to deploy to production under the same website as the REST project itself.
What's the best way to accomplish this?
Thx
