I'm writing code for a task in a react course and after the file is saved it simply changes what I wrote and a bunch of errors appear and o I don't know why. The first pic is what I wrote, and the second one what happened after I saved the file. Can someone tell me why this is happening?
This never happened to any other code I wrote before.
Your VS Code settings are probably set to run a linter (ESLint maybe?) when you save your file. You can check your settings in the VS Code workspace settings: https://code.visualstudio.com/docs/getstarted/settings. If you hover over the red squiggly lines it will hint at the errors in your code.
It's been awhile since I've worked in React, but I think you might need to wrap your return in a string literal (backticks: ``). You also might want to use Typescript or JSX with React.
You can also post a sample on Stackblitz https://stackblitz.com/ if you want more help.
Working with react-intl and was looking to display a currency symbol only, after some text like USD$.
From what I have read so far in the documentation guessing FormattedNumber requires a default value.
Just wondering is it possible to display a currency symbol without a number value? such as $ (currently it returns NaN, due to missing number value)
Wondering has anyone run into this kind of issue previously?
Guessing there must be a simple solution.
In the meantime will keep looking for alternative solutions.
Any thought greatly appreciated.
Wasn't able to find a solution with react-intl.
So created simple helper to do the job.
Works ok. :)
I am using this command in protractor to undo the text inserted in a certain element. However, it is not working because the text is not undone. Why?
The command used is:
hotkeys.trigger('mod+z',{targetElement: $(properties.homePage.editableText)});
Thanks in advance.
I think you should try protractor-hotkeys package here, As it will help to execute same code on different os. Let me know if you need any sample for this.

Situation:
I want to train and simple configure the retrieve and rank service.
I just uploaded some PDFs and now I want to upload some questions.
In the documentation I do not find a simple information how the csv file must be structured and which are the must fields and which are not must files.
Something like: "[YOUR QUESTION (MUST)]",[DOCUMENT ID (MUST)], [RANKING (OPTIONAL)]
The document ID you will find in xyz in section xyz.
Inside the help I can not find such kind of help.
https://www.ibm.com/watson/developercloud/doc/retrieve-rank/training_data.shtml#script
Impact:
There is no chance to get a "real" documentation of the configuration outside the tutorial.
Possible Solution:
Provide additional documenation.
Maybe I was not able to find it and someone can guide me to the right place?
Ok, I found the solution for me, by try and error. Following steps do work for me:
1) You need a plain text file and the ending should be *.txt
2) Inside the file you have to write your questions like this:
What is the best place to be?
Why should I travel to the USA?
-> Don't do it like
"What is the best place to be?"
For me the help was missleading, because saying something about CSV files.
You can take a look also in the comment of #dalelane he is right, and highlight the entry text for the upload of the file.
I want to report missing values in a nice table (latex).
So is there a way to export the results from misstable summarize in the same/similar format as displayed?
Example code:
webuse studentsurvey, clear
misstable summarize
Thank you!
There is a package by Stata that creates LaTeX code in the Stata Journal style. It´s called -sjlatex-. This allows you to transfer Stata output to a Tex document just as it appears in your output window. There is some documentation here: http://www.ats.ucla.edu/stat/stata/latex/verbatim.htm. To install I typed search sjlatex and followed the links.
Then you can run something like:
webuse studentsurvey, clear
sjlog using my_missings_file
misstable summarize
sjlog close
sjlog type my_missings_file.log.tex
The Latex code will appear in the output window and will be saved in the respective file. I have no Latex available at the moment, so I couldn't test the Latex output.
