How do I open a modal on top of another using AngularJS? - angularjs

I'm curently working on this piece of code, since i have a loader integrated in my site, the loader clashes with the modals, so i open the modal from my controller. my problem is if click open the modal it opens behind the current modal, whereas i want it displayed on top.

You should change the z-index css property for the modal and/or the loader.

Most probably you should add z-index to your main modal popup div.
You can try ngBootbox. It's a library for popups.

bug with modal window and desktop widget

(sorry my english!)
I use a modal window within a Tabview's page.
Check this little playground example.
Open the modal window, go to Second page, and return to First page. How can i solve this problem with the opened modal window? I need switch to other pages, return to the modal window's page, and close the modal window.
I've been trying to figure this out. The Widget Browser application, from Qooxdoo website have the same problem, with the Window page example.
Thanks.
this little modification work fine

Angular-UI bootstrap popover directive component

I developed a directive to maintain inline help for a widget from a dropdown bootstrap menu, but when I click help from the dropdown, the popover is currently bound to the element and cannot be separated, so it opens absolute from that position.
But the requirement would be if we click help in the dropdown we have show popover like below
I am not sure if it even possible, anyways I'll list down the efforts that I made.
Angular-UI Bootstrap does not help, it does not possess any capabilities to programmatically trigger like bootstrap.
However, In Angular-UI Bootstrap we can add triggers which was done by Elijen, but it would be divided into two components.
My issue would be to create a single directive housing both the trigger and the popover like the second image. I don't want to kill the sanity of bootstrap by overiding the CSS. I wanted to know either we could write a method to detect the position and move to the top of the widget or anything like that, since it would be a reusable component.
The reason why it's a single directive is, it would be packed into webpack and made a cross-cutter tool.
The angular-ui-bootstrap popover listens to the popover-is-open attribute to support opening the popover programmatically.

AngularJS nested modal templates

I have a spa developed with AngularJS (routing with ngroute). Every template have the menu, in the menu there is a back button. I want to return to the previous view with he's state (information, scroll in the page etc). If I code every button in the menu to open the next template in modal that have dimension of full screen, and the back button just close the current modal. This method can do a memory leak?
This case is an hybrid application running in the tablet, the back button is in the menu of application not that of the browser.
Why don't you use $window.history.back();
Why don't you create a template for the menu and include it into your views by using ng-include?

How to integrate Fine Uploader with React Bootstrap modal?

FineUploader is great! But I have such a problem: I use React Bootstrap as my UI framework. I need upload button, but after user selects some image file, they need to deal with the image first in a modal dialog window of React Bootstrap, perhaps rotate it, or scale it, or crop it, etc. And when user clicks "Finish" button, then the image should be uploaded to the Node.js server, and display progress bar in the modal dialog body. After the server has received all of the file, then the modal dialog should be closed.
I read through the code of FindUploader, but can't find what I need. FineUploader do have FineUploaderBasic class, with it I can pass the upload button element. But I can't turn the FineUploaderBasic object into FineUploader object, and initialize the template when the modal dialog open. I can't just make the template invisible first, and display it when the modal open. Because React Bootstrap won't add modal into the DOM before user opens the modal.
So should I define a new method to turn a FineUploaderBasic object into a FineUploader object? Or is there any other way to make it?

AngularUI Bootstrap Modal with Video flickers while loading

I am trying to display an AngularUI based Bootstrap Modal window which has embedded YouTube videos in iframes. Everything works fine but while loading the modal window flickers at least once before the entire modal content is loaded.
From whatever I researched I can understand that Bootstrap modal opens up before the contents are loaded completely and the iframes in which the Youtube videos are embedded is causing it.
Any idea why this is happening and suggestions to avoid the flicker will be appreciated.
adding ng-cloak to the template used for the dialog fixed the same issue for me.
