Hamburger menu disappeared - codenameone

I have found that my hamburger menu in simulator and a on an ios device was "missing" - debugging the code on simulator the methods were being called but nothing displayed on screen.
Building against an earlier version of cn1 resolved the problem... so, has a bug been introduced in the latest code or something that changes how the hamburger menu (SideMenu) is used?

The defaults icons have been replaced with the google material design font icons, see the font image blog post
It is very much likely your menu icon color is blended with your title, try to give a foreground color to the "MenuButton" uiid in your theme

How to get rid of dropdown color hamburger menu (and if possible, loading delay) on responsive site?

This was a bug in 1.1.0. Version 1.1.1 fixes it.
Workaround is setting overflow:hidden; on the md-datepicker-input-mask class

How do you get ActionBar from SocialBoo theme to show up in your GUI?

Ok. Starting over with this. I see that the SocialBoo theme has something similar in what I want to achieve. If I find that I can work and improve. I Added a new socialboo theme and created blank GUI. Assumed it would be a Commandbehavior but that didnt do the trick, so did adding tabs. Seems like those components are not for that specific bar... However did notice another issue.
How do I get the social actionbar as displayed in the socialboo theme? (Screen shot). Assuming those images etc are part of the default theme, right.
Also, If I create a TouchCommand = bar, title or native. It displays fine in Gingerbread but not ICS. DO you know why is that? (screen shot)
Thanks, in advance.
Those images aren't a part of the theme, they are a part of the specific demo. If you add a Tabs component to the center of the border layout UI you will get thee tabs where the "icon" property will allow you to customize the unselected icon and you can customize the selected icon as well. You can see the full source/resource file of the social boo demo in the docs and demos zip in the download section.
Generally customizing commands is a bit complex because of platform specific constraints, when running on an Actual Android 4 device we use the native ActionBar by default to provide the experience Android users are used to. This is hard for us to simulate so you will only see this properly in the device build. I suggest not relying on commands, it seems that what you are trying to achieve is easily doable with tabs and its possible that's why you had difficulties in your other question.

About the application with the i icon at the bottom of the screen

I searched for this and couldn't find any references to this.
In my iOS universal app, I wanted to display the information icon (same as the utility application) at the bottom right of my main view controller and use the same both for iPhone and iPad to flip over to display information about my app and other things. On the iPadd Utility application template with XCode 4.6, the information icon is displayed as a button on the navigation bar and a UIPopOver control is used to display information.
In my case, I don't want to use a UIPopOver on the iPad but use the same flip over effect both for iPhone and iPad when clicking the information icon. Is this a valid as per Apple's guidelines or guaranteed for rejection?.
I do exactly what you're thinking of doing in my app. I used the flip transition to display my info page using the information icon as the button image. I had no problems with Apple regarding this when I submitted.

CSS3 Horizontal Dropdown Menu and Microsoft Silverlight Compatibility ... Mouseover / Hover Issues

I’m trying to deploy a CSS3-based horizontal navigation menu on a still-under-construction site I’m working on.
Hover or mouseover one of the menu’s titles and a drop-down menu appears. Move the mouse off of the title, or off of the list of dropdown items, and the menu collapses. So, the dropdown list of items stays open as long as it can ‘see’ the mouse pointer.
The menu features containers that allow for the presentation of content from the site, or even other sites. E.g., it can display images or entire webpages. I’m attempting to display an object created with Microsoft’s Silverlight platform. The object is embedded on another page of my site and, via php include, it plays well with the menu in all browsers I’ve tested it on … except Microsoft Internet Explorer 9. (Haven't tried IE10 yet.)
In the IE9 case, the Silverlight object appears as expected, but the dropdown menu collapses as soon as the mouse touches the displayed Silverlight object. I.e., the CSS3 menu loses sight of the mouse and the dropdown collapses the moment the mouse pointer touches the Silverlight object.
I haven't been able to find much in the way of help for this one.
Any thoughts or guidance are much appreciated. Thanks.
