I have an AngualarJS app that has an index page and some partial pages, displayed in ui-view. The app is using ui-routing. I have a button on the header (located on the index page) and on click of that button I want a small pop up open - a page displaying some data from the database, based on currently logged in user. I am trying to decide between opening a windows with window.open and sizing it to about 400x400 but that seems very un-elegant plus I see some issues with opening it. Another option I am entertaining is bootstrap ui modal but that would involve including bootstrap in my project on top of all the angular and routing includes.
Not sure if there is a better way to go, would appreciate any leads.
If you don't want to include bootstrap in your project You may use this one

I came accross a form wizard by Afrad on github material-wizard and will like to implement it because of its angular-material properties. The downside is that the text-boxes turn out totally different from the angular styling. Is there a way to fix this? what causes this and how do you go about the fix. I have tried using ngWizard as well and face the same issue. the forms display okay without being encapsulated in the wizard directive.
A link to a plunker showing the demo is on the github page. Attached below is a snapshot of the plunker.
What is the current way to do a custom button with some js in it?
We are building a custom button that needs to be able to read from the current contact (email address, phone, mailing address), and run a few lines of js. (We also need to create a call record.)
But how/where is this done in salesforce these days?
This page doesn't point me anywhere:
https://help.salesforce.com/apex/HTViewHelpDoc?id=customize_enterprise.htm
And this explanation of the new method in Lightning isn't clear where the js lives:
https://developer.salesforce.com/forums/?id=906F0000000BWr4IAG
Where is the needed example/doc?
If you are using buttons on custom visualforce page there are no any problems with defining custom JS function for it. For example, if you use <apex:commandButton/> you can use such attributes as onclick, onkeydown, onkeyup and other. See more information in documentation.
If you are using buttons on object layouts, you can create custom button and chose executing of JS as a behavior, see attached screenshot.
If you mean some other cases, please, describe it.
I'm using angularJs 1.3 with Angular Material Design 0.8.3 and I have a page that has a toolbar on the top <md-toolbar class="md-whiteframe-glow-z2 md-default-theme"> where I'm trying to put some icons dynamically. The page has some crud's and each crud has it own controller. The case is, each crud must have it specific icons at the toolbar, I'm trying to specify it through the controllers but I have no idea how can I write this cuz each icon should have it owns properties (the href link, the action function etc). Someone know if its possible to apply this idea (control the icons that will appears in the screen per crud via controllers)?
I am new to Sencha. In one of my projects I have to use a Multiselect Grid Panel and update the store to and from the Grid. I have no clue as to how to achieve this.
I will highly appreciate if someone can send me their sample code or even links that display the usage of Multiselect grids. I found a few but unfortunately those links dont use Ext JS 4.1.
Thanks guys
First, have a look at the API docs:
http://docs.sencha.com/ext-js/4-1/#!/api/Ext.selection.RowModel-cfg-mode
http://docs.sencha.com/ext-js/4-1/#!/example
Then look at the infinite grid example:
http://docs.sencha.com/ext-js/4-1/#!/example/grid/infinite-scroll.html
Oddly enough, this example uses an undocumented "multiSelect" config on the grid... but it could have been defined on the selection model per the API docs.
