I have Documents they have this structure:
{id: ####,
rev: ####,
"Cam_name": "Camera SX",
"colour": "white",
"manufacturer": "Sony",
"rec_limit": 180,
"Customer": ["Mike","Ann","James"]
}
{id: ####,
rev: ####,
"Cam_name": "PXSV CAM",
"colour": "white",
"manufacturer": "LG",
"rec_limit": 144,
"Customer": ["Mike","Oliver","Mr. Rain"]
}
{id: ####,
rev: ####,
"Cam_name": "LxSV Double",
"colour": "white",
"manufacturer": "Phillips",
"rec_limit": 160,
"Customer": ["Mike"]
}
And i want to make an MAP Function query where i can see ALL Cam_Names which the Customer Mike is using.
i have a simillar Map Function but this shows only the Cam_Name LxSV Double and only the Customer Mike. i want to show all Cam_Names which mike is using.
MyQuery:
function(doc){
if(doc.Customer == "Mike"){
emit(doc.Cam_name, doc.Customer)
This query gives me not the right result.
If your query looks exactly like that, then you have a syntax error. But also, doc.Customer is an array, so you can't do a simple equality check.
But checking the existence of a value in an array is totally unnecessary, your map function can simply look like this:
function (doc) {
doc.Customer.forEach(function (customer) {
emit(customer, doc.Cam_name);
});
}
Then, query your view with /{db}/_design/{ddoc}/_view/{view}?key="Mike"
Your output will look like:
{
"total_rows": 3,
"offset": 0,
"rows": [
{
"id": "####",
"key": "Mike",
"value": "Camera SX"
},
{
"id": "####",
"key": "Mike",
"value": "PXSV CAM"
},
{
"id": "####",
"key": "Mike",
"value": "LxSV Double"
}
]
}
Now, you can use this same view to find any customer, not just whomever you specify in your map function.

I am working on a food delivery app, which uses parse as its backend. I am facing a problem while calling the placeOrder API through
PFCloud.callFunction(inBackground: PlaceOrder, withParameters: params) { (data, err) in}
Please have a look at the JSON which I need to post below.

After all this is done I call the parse function like below.
PFCloud.callFunction(inBackground: PlaceOrder, withParameters: params) { (data, err) in
if err != nil {
print(err!)
} else {
print(data!)
}
}
But this gives me error after a few seconds saying
"Error Domain=NSCocoaErrorDomain Code=3840 "JSON text did not start with array or object and option to allow fragments not set." UserInfo={NSDebugDescription=JSON text did not start with array or object and option to allow fragments not set.}"
I have searched the web with the error and made fixes accordingly but still no success. Please help me guys.
I noticed that your params var is not compatible with the JSON you sent, there are more fields and also missing fields. Moreover, menuItems and submenuItem are an Array in your JSON and an Object in your code. It is probably making the cloud code function to fail and you are therefore not receiving back a valid JSON. Try the following and check if it works. In the case it works, just replace the values by your vars.
let params = [

I am submitting a form for job posting and have skills like C# which escape in my rest API. So I encoded the skills and sending to backend.
"skills":encodeURIComponent(skills)
now when I get back the skills I am doing decodeURIComponent for my skills
$scope.skills = decodeURIComponent(skills);
but this wont work with array of datas, when I want to fetch list of jobs , the datas comes in array , my array has almost 15 key values , which will be used in table some way. Writing a new array and pushing each values into array again pushing decoded skills a big process.
Is any solution to directly decoded the value in view , that is html
I tried {{decodeURIComponent(item.skills) }} but no luck.

encodeURIComponent is a JavaScript built-in function, you can not access it directly in your AngularJs template. Convert that into a $scope function then try accessing from AngularJs template.
I would suggest you to have a filter for the same instead of $scope function.
Filter:
app.filter('decodeFilter', function() {
return function(input) {
return decodeURIComponent(input);
};
});
Template:
{{item.skills | decodeFilter}}
If still you want that as $scope function then try below code:
Controller:
$scope.decodeComponent=function(value){
return decodeURIComponent(value);
}
Template:
{{decodeComponent(item.skills)}}
Also, please check this plunker for sample scenario with the above examples.
I have a noSql (Cloudant) database
-Within the database we have documents where one of the document fields represents “table” (type of document)
-Within the documents we have fields that represent links other documents within the database
For example:
{_id: 111, table:main, user_id:222, field1:value1, other1_id: 333}
{_id: 222, table:user, first:john, other2_id: 444}
{_id: 333, table:other1, field2:value2}
{_id: 444, table:other2, field3:value3}
We want of way of searching for _id:111
And the result be one document with data from linked tables:
{_id:111, user_id:222, field1:value1, other1_id: 333, first:john, other2_id: 444, field2:value2, field3:value3}
Is there a way to do this?
There is flexibility on the structure of how we store or get the data back—any suggestions on how to better structure the data to make this possible?
The first thing to say is that there are no joins in Cloudant. If you're schema relies on lots of joining then you're working against the grain of Cloudant which may mean extra complication for you or performance hits.
There is a way to de-reference other documents' ids in a MapReduce view. Here's how it works:
create a MapReduce view to emit the main document's body and its linked document's ids in the form { _id: 'linkedid'}
query the view with include_docs=true to pull back the document AND the de-referenced ids in one go
In your case, a map function like this:
function(doc) {
if (doc.table === 'main') {
emit(doc._id, doc);
if (doc.user_id) {
emit(doc._id + ':user', { _id: doc.user_id });
}
}
}
would allow you to pull back the main document and its linked user document in one API by hitting the GET /mydatabase/_design/mydesigndoc/_view/myview?startkey="111"&endkey="111z"&include_docs=true endpoint:
{
"total_rows": 2,
"offset": 0,
"rows": [
{
"id": "111",
"key": "111",
"value": {
"_id": "111",
"_rev": "1-5791203eaa68b4bd1ce930565c7b008e",
"table": "main",
"user_id": "222",
"field1": "value1",
"other1_id": "333"
},
"doc": {
"_id": "111",
"_rev": "1-5791203eaa68b4bd1ce930565c7b008e",
"table": "main",
"user_id": "222",
"field1": "value1",
"other1_id": "333"
}
},
{
"id": "111",
"key": "111:user",
"value": {
"_id": "222"
},
"doc": {
"_id": "222",
"_rev": "1-6a277581235ca01b11dfc0367e1fc8ca",
"table": "user",
"first": "john",
"other2_id": "444"
}
}
]
}
Notice how we get two rows back, the first is the main document body, the second the linked user.
Hi I am implementing a chart in my Angularjs Application, You can see this plunker http://jsfiddle.net/fusioncharts/73xgmacm/ The thing which I want to achieve is to change the value attribute to profit. How can I do this ? I want to display profit not values.
Regards
After 2 days I finally find out the answer. The thing is You cannot change the Fusionchart attribute value but you can change the attribute of your API once you fetched. I used a loop after I fetched the API and replace the 'profit' attribute with value in this way I made the chart. Yes The thing which i had been ignoring was the use of 'variable' instead of scope. If you see this example you would understand Example Here. I am sharing my code May be it helps someone else too.
Give below is my json array which i called tps.json
[
{
"index": "1",
"variantoption": "fan-green",
"company": "sk fans",
"quantity": "650",
"profit": "78296",
"loss": "8457",
"year": "2016"
},
{
"index": "2",
"variantoption": "fan-white",
"company": "al ahmed fans",
"quantity": "450",
"profit": "78296",
"loss": "8457",
"year": "2016"
},
{
"index": "3",
"variantoption": "fan-purple",
"company": "asia fans",
"quantity": "350",
"profit": "78296",
"loss": "8457",
"year": "2016"
},
{
"index": "4",
"variantoption": "fan-yellow",
"company": "falcon fans",
"quantity": "250",
"profit": "78296",
"loss": "8457",
"year": "2016"
}
]
and here is my controller
$http.get('js/tps.json').success(function (data) {
var chartdata = data;
var arrLength = chartdata.length;
console.log(arrLength);
for (var i = 0; i < arrLength; i++) {
if (chartdata[i]['profit'] && chartdata[i]['index']) {
chartdata[i].value = chartdata[i].profit;
delete chartdata[i].profit;
chartdata[i].label = chartdata[i].index;
delete chartdata[i].index;
console.log(chartdata);
}
}
console.log(chartdata);
FusionCharts.ready(function () {
var tps = new FusionCharts({
type: 'column2d',
renderAt: 'chart-container',
width: '500',
height: '300',

I've been looking at some StackOverflow cases such as this case, but I cannot find an example with a document structure close to this one.
Below is an example of one document within my collection artistTags. All documents follow the same structure.
{
"_id": ObjectId("5500aaeaa7ef65c7460fa3d9"),
"toptags": {
"tag": [
{
"count": "100",
"name": "Hip-Hop"
},
{
"count": "97",
"name": "french rap"
},
...{
"count": "0",
"name": "seen live"
}
],
"#attr": {
"artist": "113"
}
}
}
1) How can I find() this document using the "artist" value (here "113")?
2) How can I retrieve all "artist" values having a specific "name" value (say "french rap") ?
Referring to chridam answer here above:
db.collection.find({"toptags.#attr.artist": "113"})
