published date in newsflash module - joomla3.0

I'm using newsflash module on my Joomla site and would like to have a published date shown at every article but there is no possibility to activate this in module settings. Any suggestions?
If I click read more, there I can activate date under article settings.
Thanks
UPDATE: There is also no module folder "mod_articles_newsflash" which should be there according to Joomlas help https://docs.joomla.org/Help33:Extensions_Module_Manager_Articles_Newsflash

Kylo plugin for UI is not working

I would like to extend Kylo user interface. From documentation, i understood that I can use Plugin mechanism to add new features and I am referring to the examples available here.
I have built this example code and deployed the generated jar files to /opt/kylo/kylo-services/plugin folder and restarted the kylo-services.
But I am dont see any changes in the UI. As per my understanding, there should be a new group in left hand navigation pane but there are no UI level changes in the kylo UI.
I am using dladmin userid and logs (kylo-ui and kylo-services) really did not indicate any error.
Where can I see if the plugin is really picked up by kylo? Which logs tell me what is going on with this plugin? Any suggestions will be of great help.
Thanks
Gana
The mistake i did is copying kylo UI into /opt/kylo/kylo-services/plugin folder.
The generated jar files should go into different plugin folders.
Kylo Services plugin should be copied to /opt/kylo/kylo-services/plugin folder.
Kylo UI plugin should be copied to /opt/kylo/kylo-ui/plugin folder.
service kylo-services restart
service kylo-ui restart
And its my bad that i mistakenly copied kylo-ui plugin into kylo-services folder. After I copied into correct folders and service restart, I am able to find the UI changes.
Thanks for your attention.

DotNetNuke (DNN) and Hyperlink Manager "Track the number of times this link is clicked"

I have clients using the DNN CMS (Evoq Content 7.3.2) system and are questioning a specific area in the "Hyperlink Manager". There are two checkboxes (View image):
Track the number of times this link is clicked
Log the user, date and time for each click
If checked, where do we go to view these analytics?
I found resources online that mention we have to create an API for it, but are there any out-of-the-box solutions for this?
After some more researching, I solved my own problem and I wanted to share this with anyone who was looking for an answer to this.
For versions DNN 7.3.2 and lower, the Telerik RadTextEditor includes the feature as mentioned above. To view the analytics with an out-of-the-box method, simply return back to the link and open the "Hyperlink Manager" then navigate to the new tab called "Tracking".
Alternatively, I found developers can implement a control in a custom module called UrlControl. Refer to this link for more information: Link tracking information in html editor (DNN 7.1.2)
In DNN 8+, this feature no longer exists on the front-end UI. I'm not 100% sure if it's still usable or if this information gets migrated when upgrading from 7 to 8, though.

Nativescript calendar plugin

Can anyone tell me how to use the calendar plugin in nativescript? And I am using only XML not with typescript. I need the calendar control exactly like as in Bookmyshow.
There are several options for calendar plugin.
The most extended one is the telerik-ui for NativeScript
The calendar is highly customisable and offers a lof of functionality.
You can see more about it here - keep in mind that this is a paid functionality.
Another option is to search for community-made nativescript calendar related plugins. Like this one here! Not familiar with it - it looks easy to work with.
The third option is to use date-picker. IF you are looking for a calendar in Android then you can open your app/App_Resources/Android/values-21 folder and open the file styles.xml and modify the default mode of the date picker from spinner to calendar.
Example:
<item name="android:datePickerMode">calendar</item>
You might be interested in the "Telerik UI for NativeScript" plugin. There is a free and pro version which contains a really slick looking and functioning calendar UI component.
More details about the plugins and their contents can be found here. Additionally you can take a look at the sdk examples regarding the RadCalendar component for both vanila and Angular 2 NativeScript.
I'm using this npm package:
https://www.npmjs.com/package/nativescript-calendar
"nativescript-calendar": "^1.0.7",
I juss created a wrapper over android-lib which help in rendering calendar in nativescript. checkout the plugin
https://www.npmjs.com/package/nativescript-calendar-weekview

Dot Net Nuke, custom module addition

I am new to DOT NET NUKE 6.0 and facing a problem. The scene is that I have created a very simple user control in Visual Studio(by using ASP.NET/C#). Now I just want to add it as module in my DNN portal. Task is simple but I don not know how to do. Any help, video link, site is appreciated. I am working in DNN 6.0
Thanks
There are a bunch of resources on the DotNetNuke.com site. Take a look at the wiki entry at http://www.dotnetnuke.com/Resources/Wiki/Page/module-development.aspx. It has links to a video series that should be helpful to get started.
If you already have a control, you should make sure that it inherits from PortalModuleBase, and use the Extensions module (under Host) to create a new module from the control. DNN will create the record for it, and even create a test page with the module on it for you.

Javascript library to create calendar uri/links to Google, Yahoo, Outlook , iCal?

I have seen a very specific and professional web page widget (e.g. http://whatsnextlectures-work.eventbrite.com/ and meetup.com). Please help me find the library that creates the links.
I have looked at Need a service that build calendar (iCal, outlook) links, but that answer seems to address the need for an on-screen calendar, not just the links.
thanks
Alternatively you can create below registry entry and anchor link/button to open the outlook calendar
below is the markup
<button id="outlookCalendarBtn" onclick="window.open('outlookwebcal:')">
Open Outlook Calendar
</button>
Create below registry entry
Windows Registry Editor Version 5.00
[HKEY_CLASSES_ROOT\outlookwebcal]
#="URL:Outlook Add Internet Calendar"
"URL Protocol"=""
[HKEY_CLASSES_ROOT\outlookwebcal\shell]
#="open"
[HKEY_CLASSES_ROOT\outlookwebcal\shell\open]
[HKEY_CLASSES_ROOT\outlookwebcal\shell\open\command]
#="\"C:\\Program Files\\Microsoft Office\\root\\office16\\Outlook.exe\" /select outlook:calendar"
Even I was looking for the same library Mr.Richard but after reaching for 3 days I finally found this. http://tardate.blogspot.com/2010/10/add-to-calendar-with-jquery-widget.html
But iCal is not included in this library you need to add it explicitly.
