Nat vodafone mobile italia - mobile

I'm trying to display some cameras connected to a dvr which in turn is connected to a Huawei router that has the ability to connect to the Internet via the mobile network.
I tried with a tim card and everything goes wonderfully (the tim's ip is dynamic so I have used no-ip to be able to always access the dvr and I made the forwarding by opening the right doors outside to the inside), but as the area in which you installed the dVR, it does not take tim signal (not even wind, or 3), I had to put the vodafone's sim but from what I've read on the internet but not the public ip to mobile customers, but access through NAT ..
None of you know the way to be able to access a remote PC via a network that uses NAT?

When behind NAT, the best course of action is to establish a connection from inside the NAT to some remote machine.
There are several ways to achieve that, such as creating a (reverse) ssh tunnel or using a remote desktop utility such as logmein, teamviewer or ammyy.

Can't connect to my React app from my mobile device

I am having some issues connecting to my React app running on my PC from my mobile device. I remember being able to do it awhile back, but for some reason it's not working anymore.
Both devices are on the same WiFi network. I have mesh routers and I verified they are connected to the same one (not sure if that matters). I'm running Windows 11 and trying to connect from an Android device.
I'm getting a connection timeout when trying to connect to my app from my phone (ip address below is fake):
This site can't be reached
192.559.2.27 took too long to respond
Try:
Checking the connection
ERR_CONNECTION_TIMED_OUT
I verified that the ip address I'm trying to connect to is the correct one and I am attempting to connect to the right port. Any thoughts on what the issue might be or some settings I could check?
The answer here was to simply set my home WiFi network as a private network. Windows 11 sets the network type to "public" by default, which prevents it from being discovered by other devices on the network.
On Windows 11, go to Settings -> Network & Internet -> Wi-Fi -> properties
Change the Network profile type to private
Obviously, you'll only want to do this on a trusted network and not a public Wi-Fi or anything.

Why can't I see my react-app through local network?

I want to see my react app in my local network, but I can't. When I run npm start to start the local host and see my react app, it gives me two URLs. One for my current device and the other for the local network. When I open the local network URL on my phone, I just see that the page is loading. It doesn't give me any errors. I've ensured that my IP address is correct. Previously I was able to see the apps through local network, so not sure if I'm missing something trivial.
Follow these steps:
Setting -> Network & internet -> Wi-Fi -> xyz propeties (here xyz is connected wifi name) -> Network Profile Type -> check as private
Firewall & network protection (search it and open it) -> Private Network -> Microsoft Defender Firewall turn off
Hope it will work...
The best way to test your ReactJS app on your phone is to Follow the following steps
Run your using npm start
After Go to the CMD in your windows machine and type the command ipconfig then enter that IP address with:3000 port in your Smartphone browser
For Example, if your IP is 192.168.1.101:3000. the IP address should use a 3000 port
Note:- Make sure your PC and Smartphone are Connected on the same Wifi network

aws_sdk: how can I identify if my device is connected to the aws server

I have a device (esp32s2) which is IoT enabled and communicating with AWS server.
The device is connecting to the internet via router. I want to check from the device, if the router is connected to the internet or not. If not connected, I need to disconnect mqtt broker instantly.
I know there is aws_iot_yield happening, but it is taking too much of time to change the client state (~5-10 mins) after disconnection. So, is there is any other way in which I can come to know if the device is connected to the mqtt broker or not using AWS sdk?
I want to avoid using pinging to some address/server as it will increase the usage of resources.
Thanks in advance!
Since the connectivity to the AWS server trough internet depends on the network elements, the only reliable way to know if you are connected to internet is to send a package to a know address and receive the response. Simplest way to do this is to use ICMP (ping) protocol. Usually the most reliable destination to ping is the Google DNS server 8.8.8.8 or 8.8.4.4 which is a cluster service and it's always replying on the ping.
You can control the pause between two pings and how many pings you will send in one session in order to preserve the resources.
Alternative approach is to use a router that can send messages to a monitoring device that the link state was changed (by example SNMP trap). But this is not fully reliable method since the router can not detect all scenarios where the connectivity to your AWS server is lost.

How to use local macbook server to allow multiple devices to view Reactjs page?

I have a local server running Reactjs on my Macbook. (newbie in React)
1) How could I change the http://localhost:4001 name to something else (e.g. http://www.test.com)
--> I'm using webpack-dev-server --port 4001
2) How could I allow up to 500 iOS/Android device to connect to this local server? (e.g do how to setup a router to broadcast this?)
--> Found this ReactJS-and-ngrok but not sure what's the concurrent users it's able to support.
3) How to allow the device to connect to a wifi without internet access?
First, see what IP is your Macbook in your local network. System Preferences->Network. Suppose your Macbook IP is 192.168.1.70 and your server is on 4001 port. Then you can start your webpack-dev-server with the following options: --output-public-path="http://192.168.1.70:4001/" --host="0.0.0.0" --public="192.168.1.70:4001". You can still access it via localhost name on Macbook, but on other devices use full IP + port number as address.
Can't say anything about setting domain... may be you can configure your router somehow? Sorry, newer had to face such a task

How to connect socket via external IP (Mac )

My question is, how to connect to socket on romote mechine?
I can only connect sockets on same network..
I wrote a simple code (in c), that simulate a server (open socket and listen for client). in Mac.
I'm trying to connect this socket as a client from iPhone (with simple objectiv-c code).
If my internet on both, server and client, is on the same network (WiFi) and in client I trying to connect to 192.168.1.x, it's working.
But when, in client, I'm trying to connect via external IP (with the same port) connection is failed.
I never did this bofore. Maybe I miss somthing.. I've tried to turn my FireWall off. It did not help.
Thanks.
Edit: If it's not clear.. my Mac is connected by router.
In a setting like this, the "external IP" would typically be the IP of the router. In all likelihood you'll need to configure the router to forward the relevant port to the internal IP address.
It could also be the case that for the port forwarding to work, the request has to come in on the external (WAN) interface. This depends on how the router is configured. If that's the case, you'll need to make sure that you're accessing the external IP via the cellular network and not the Wi-Fi connection on your iPhone.
If you're connecting to your server via a local IP address (i.e., you're connecting to another machine on the same local router via a delegated DHCP address), then your issue is on the network, not the IP-stack of the local machine.
You'll need to look into your router settings ... many routers will block a number of services, especially those on custom ports, in order to prevent malicious attacks from sources external to the local network.
