Angular JS ng-pageslide not masking the parent window - angularjs

I am using ng-pageslide directive to implement the page slide.I have tried lots of ways to mask the parent page so that it will get look of pop up but feel of sliding.
is there any possible way to mask the parent window so that nothing is clickable from the parent page unless until the slide is closed.
please help me out..

Not without modifying ng-pageslide.
What you could do is append another div to the body(https://github.com/dpiccone/ng-pageslide/blob/master/src/angular-pageslide-directive.js#L81) that would be transparent and absolutely positioned, but with zindex sligtly lower than the slide have, which is 1000.

How can I wrap one React component around another

I am new to React. Basically, I have been given a HTML Bootstrap template. It is pretty simple... a left sidebar (always present), an adjacent menu (always present) and all other components fit adjacent to side bar and under menu. I have attached a pic so you can easily see what I mean.
I can display the components but my dynamic components or the components that change are rendered below the sidebar and NOT next to it.
I have tried to solve this issue for days... no luck. Help would be greatly appreciated.
Thank you
Vincent
It seems like a css issue, make sure you have your child divs inside the parent and nothing is position absolute. if you have it online I can take a look.

Polymer grid in different views

I'm not sure if this is the right place to ask because I dont have any code to show. I'm actually looking for ideas on possible ways to solve my problem.
I have an app that displays the grid on the screen when the media query has a min width of a tablet.
But when the view is in mobile mode I don't want to show the grid. Instead I have a drop down menu which has a grid option. When selected will be show in a paper-dialog (pop up)
The problem is I have to create two grids (vaadin-grid) and show the appropriate one based on the view. Is there a way to have only one grid? Can I put it in a paper-dialog but not pop-out when in tablet and desktop view?
Thanks in advance
If your grid element has every custom property then that is an element in the DOM, so you can move it into the dialog if thats needed using javascript:
let myGrid = this.$$('#myGrid');
let myDialogContent = this.$$('#myDialogContent');
Polymer.dom(myDialogContent).appendChild(myGrid);
Also if you think it a different way, then you can hide the grid outside of the screen and you can slide that in when it's needed like a drawer panel and you dont need to move the element at all in the DOM.
By the way for programming question stackoverflow has the https://softwareengineering.stackexchange.com/ site, but I think it is Ok to send it here.

Angular change ID based on Scroll Position

I have a question concerning scroll positions/behavior in AngularJS.
I have a fixed sidebar with div classes with text (three items no menu) and would like to achieve an opacity change on those classes based upon the current scroll position of the window.
For example, if I reach
<div class="example1">
My goal would be to have the opacity changed on the first item in the sidebar which for example would be called
<div class="sidebar1">
I've found plugins via github for this, but would like to achieve this purely with angular. Does anybody know how to approach this best to avoid messy code and a bloated application?
There's a module you can get via npm here: https://www.npmjs.com/package/ng-inview named ngInView. It will let you call an event whenever an item comes into view. This should get you going in the right direction.

Animation with display flex

When I open the item-accordion I have used the animation .But the item-accordion has the image that is wrap in the multiple row using display flex property of the CSS3. Whenever I open the accordion the extra content is displayed on the right during transition.So can anyone suggest what can be done to solve it?And this happens when width of the content is small
Another problem is i have used the animate-repeat animation to delete the item.But when i open the item-accordion the animation is applied to them also hence animating the image as a list.
.list .item-accordion {
-webkit-transition:0.09s all linear ;
transition: 0.09s all linear;
}
This is the animation I am using.
The demo of the code is over here:

I have had similar issues when having to meet complex animation requirements. I have used greensock for more complex animations but that doesn't seem to be needed here. The general concept is that you are going to want to animate something but change/alter the properties before and after the animation has completed. You are going to have to be using a few callback promises to run additional animation after the first part of the animation has completed or do some manual calculations and adjust properties before starting or ending.
Angular Animate
Ionic Animate
It seems like ionic is allowing for onStart and onEnd callbacks. I would hide or force certain properties onStart and reset them onEnd so that you can get around what you are trying to work with. If you are not wanting to work with a fixed width or height you are going to have to grab window/screen size and so some basic calculations based on that. So you would get your window size set the size based on the window for the animation then reset back to auto when completed.

Z-index issues in IE7

I have a login form in popup in header of my page and below it i have a navigation when i have open the popup the navigation links are showing above the popup. I have set the z-index of navigation 1 and z-index of popup is 10 but is not working in IE7. Anyone can help me
It is a known bug of IE7. Doesnt work in IE7 and IE8(compatibility view). Work around for this is: You need to check the hierarchy. Both pop-up and should be in the same stacking context/or you can say must have parent child relationship. and keep the parent/popup as relative and the z-index should be greater than the child.
you can also check the following link from where i got its example
http://brenelz.com/blog/squish-the-internet-explorer-z-index-bug/
You ll need to set the popup position as relative, IE reads z-index only when its position is set to relative, just give it a try
