$filter with custom function in angular - angularjs

How I can create a $filter with custom function to determining if match ?
This is a json sample with structure:
$scope.routes =[
{
"id": 0,
"name": "Rosa Barnes",
"origin": [
{
"address": [
{
"locality": "Madrid",
"country": "ES"
}
]
}
]
},
{
"id": 1,
"name": "Wright Montoya",
"origin": [
{
"address": [
{
"locality": "London",
"country": "UK"
}
]
}
]
},
{
"id": 2,
"name": "Pearson Johns",
"origin": [
{
"address": [
{
"locality": "London",
"country": "UK"
}
]
}
]
}
];
I want a $filter that passing one country, match in origin.address.country , is possible?
I proved this code but not works:
$scope.routesToShow = $filter('filter')($scope.routes, {origin.address.country: "UK"});
Here there are a demo:
http://jsfiddle.net/86U29/43/
Thanks

What you need is a custom filter. It also looks like you might need to tweak your data structure too.
Take a look at this:
app.filter('CustomFilter', function () {
function parseString(propertyString) {
return propertyString.split(".");
}
function getValue(element, propertyArray) {
var value = element;
propertyArray.forEach(function (property) {
value = value[property];
});
return value;
}
return function (input, propertyString, target) {
var properties = parseString(propertyString);
return input.filter(function (item) {
return getValue(item, properties) == target;
});
}
});
You could use this filter, like this:
$scope.routesToShow = $filter('CustomFilter')($scope.routes, 'origin.address.country', 'UK');
Here is an updated jsfiddle (notice the updated data structure): http://jsfiddle.net/moderndegree/86U29/44/
You can find more information on creating custom filters here:
https://docs.angularjs.org/guide/filter#creating-custom-filters

Simply.
var filter = function(obj){
return obj.origin[0].address[0].country === 'UK';
}
$scope.routesToShow = $filter('filter')($scope.routes, filter);

I can't use filter when I have objects inside an array and find last id, angular

I need your opinion in this situation:
I get from API with this function:
getRS(
idProject: string
): Observable<ResponseModel<RSModel>> {
return this.http.get<ResponseModel<RSModel>>(
ApiUrlsConfig.getRS(
idProject
)
);
}
this response:
{
"data": [
{
"id": "id1",
"state": 1,
"note": null
},
{
"id": "id1",
"state": 2,
"note": "Reason 1"
},
{
"id": "id2",
"state": 2,
"note": "Reason updated3",
}
],
"result": null
}
I need to use filter in this response because I should be get the last state for each id. For example, I want to display state 2 in item with id: id1. For this I want to use filter. The problem is because I can't use filter on it, I don't understand why.
I tried to write this code:
#Input() set jobId(jobId: string) {
this.optionsService
.getRS(
this.idProject
)
.pipe()
.subscribe((res) => {
let resId = res.filter((aaa)=>{
if(aaa.id === jobId){
res.slice(-1)[0].id
}
}
)
});
}
Not function.
Please can you share with me any idea?
Thank you
Try this logic:
Loop backwards throw it.
Loop backwards over index to the start.
Splice duplicates.
let response = {
"data": [
{
"id": "id1",
"state": 1,
"note": null
},
{
"id": "id1",
"state": 2,
"note": "Reason 1"
},
{
"id": "id2",
"state": 2,
"note": "Reason updated3"
}
],
"result": null
}
let data = response.data;
for (let i = data.length - 1; i >= 0; i--) {
for (let j = i - 1; j >= 0; j--) {
if (data[i].id === data[j].id) {
data.splice(j, 1);
j++;
}
}
};
console.log(data);
try this:
if(aaa.id == jobId){
return res.slice(-1)[0].id
}

Logic App - Refer and map fields on different JSON data sources

I have two JSON data sources:
Source Data 1:
{
"result": [
{
"resource_list": "7961b907db9253045fbdf1fabf9619d4,55617907db9253045fbdf1fabf9619d2",
"project": "11216",
"project_manager": {
"value": "55617907db9253045fbdf1fabf9619d2"
}
}
]
}
Source Data 2:
{
"result": [
{
"sys_id": "7961b907db9253045fbdf1fabf9619d4",
"email": "test.user1#mysite.com"
},
{
"sys_id": "55617907db9253045fbdf1fabf9619d2",
"email": "test.user2#mysite.com"
}
]
}
I want to reference "resource_list" and "project_manager" from Source Data 1 to "sys_id" in Source Data 2 and get "email" out from Source Data 2 and then compose a final Output like below:
Output:
[
{
"__metadata":
{
"uri": "ProjectCode"
},
"externalProject": "11216",
"projectCodeAssignment":
[
{
"__metadata":
{
"uri": "projectCodeAssignment"
},
"externalProjectAssignee": "test.user1#mysite.com"
},
{
"__metadata":
{
"uri": "projectCodeAssignment"
},
"externalProjectAssignee": "test.user2#mysite.com"
}
]
}
]
Is this possible to get this done entirely in Logic App without using Function App or anything to perform it rather.
I write a js script for you. For a quick demo, I omitted some data related to __metadata, seems that is some hard code, not so important here. Try Logic below:
Code in JS code action:
var body = workflowContext.trigger.outputs.body
var data1 = body.data1;
var data2 = body.data2;
var result = [];
data1.result.forEach(item =>{
var resultItem = {};
resultItem.externalProject = item.project;
resultItem.projectCodeAssignment =[];
var resourceIds = item.resource_list.split(',');
resourceIds.forEach(id =>{
var user = data2.result.find( ({ sys_id }) => sys_id === id );
resultItem.projectCodeAssignment.push({"externalProjectAssignee": user.email})
});
result.push(resultItem);
})
return result;
Request Body(your 2 data set are named as data1 and data2 here ):
{
"data1": {
"result": [{
"resource_list": "7961b907db9253045fbdf1fabf9619d4,55617907db9253045fbdf1fabf9619d2",
"project": "11216",
"project_manager": {
"value": "55617907db9253045fbdf1fabf9619d2"
}
}
]
},
"data2": {
"result": [{
"sys_id": "7961b907db9253045fbdf1fabf9619d4",
"email": "test.user1#mysite.com"
}, {
"sys_id": "55617907db9253045fbdf1fabf9619d2",
"email": "test.user2#mysite.com"
}
]
}
}

Conversion of list of JSON array to a single object in Angular

I have an array list which needs to be converted to a single object with few of the values from array list using TypeScript in Angular 8. Below is the array:
"arrayList": [{
"name": "Testname1",
"value": "abc"
},
{
"name": "Testname2",
"value": "xyz"
}
]
This needs to be converted to the below format,
data: {
"Testname1": "abc",
"Testname2": "xyz",
}
No matter how much i try, i end up creating a list instead of a single object. Can you please help on the same?
You can use as follows,
var arr = [
{
"name": "Testname1",
"value": "abc"
},
{
"name": "Testname2",
"value": "xyz"
}
];
var result = {};
for (var i = 0; i < arr.length; i++) {
result[arr[i].name] = arr[i].value;
}
console.log(result);
Try with using .reduce() as the following:
const arrayList = [{ "name": "Testname1", "value": "abc" }, { "name": "Testname2", "value": "xyz" }];
const data = arrayList.reduce((a, {name, value}) => {
a[name] = value;
return a;
}, {});
const result = { data };
console.log(result);
Use Array.map() to get a list of [name, value] entries, then use Object.fromEntries() to convert to an object:
const arrayList = [{ "name": "Testname1", "value": "abc" }, { "name": "Testname2", "value": "xyz" }];
const result = Object.fromEntries(arrayList.map(({ name, value }) => [name, value]));
console.log(result);
Please use the below code
const rawData = {
"arrayList": [{
"name": "Testname1",
"value": "abc"
},
{
"name": "Testname2",
"value": "xyz"
}
]
};
const updatedData = {
data: {}
};
for (const item of rawData["arrayList"]) {
updatedData.data[item.name] = item.value;
}
console.log(updatedData);

How to fetch data from json in angularjs Form

How to call the data from json in angularjs form without using backend. i have written this code and here m unable to find a way in last to get data from the json file. someone please help me to move forward from here.

$scope.newPreAuth.splice($scope.newPreAuth.indexOf(preAuth), 1);
getLocalStorage.updatenewPreAuth($scope.newPreAuth);
$scope.count = $scope.newPreAuth.length;

I created sample ,it worked this way
// Code goes here
var app = angular.module('app',[]);
app.controller('sample', function($scope,$http){
$scope.name = "advaitha";
$http.get('test.json').then(function(data){
console.log(data.data);
});
})
here is the plunker example
using HTML5 localStorage would require you to serialize and deserialize your objects before using or saving them.
For example:
var myObj = {
firstname: "kisun",
lastname: "rajot",
website: "https://www.kisun.com"
}
//if you wanted to save into localStorage, serialize it
window.localStorage.set("empData", JSON.stringify(myObj));
//unserialize to get object
var myObj = JSON.parse(window.localStorage.get("empData"));
Created a plunker based on your code am able save and retrieve the json data with your code. Please check here

AngularJS - Filter out single object in nested data structure

Data
var data = {
"records": [
{
"name": "Spectrum Series",
"seriesid": "SpectrumSeries",
"book": [
{
"name": "White Curse",
"bookid": "WhiteCurse",
"image": "book1"
},
{
"name": "Blue Fox",
"bookid": "BlueFox",
"image": "book2"
}
]
… other series
}
Controller
dnleoApp.controller('BookCtrl', function ($scope, $routeParams) {
$scope.mybookid = $routeParams.bookid;
$scope.myseriesid = $routeParams.seriesid;
$scope.serieslist = data.records;
$scope.compareSeriesID = function($series) {
return $series.seriesid == $scope.myseriesid;
};
$scope.compareBookID = function($book) {
return $book.bookid == $scope.mybookid;
};
});
html
<div ng-repeat="series in serieslist | filter: compareSeriesID">
<ul ng-repeat="book in series.book | filter: compareBookID">
<li>{{book.name}}</li>
</ul>
</div>
I use nested ng-repeat with filter to filter out a single book of a series using the seriesid (unique) and bookid (unique) from the url. This approach works well but is there a cleaner way to do this?
I used nested forEach in the controller to filter out and assign the book object to a scope variable.
HTML
<div>{{selectedbook.name}}</div>
Controller
dnleoApp.controller('BookCtrl', function ($scope, $routeParams) {
$scope.mybookid = $routeParams.bookid;
$scope.myseriesid = $routeParams.seriesid;
$scope.serieslist = data.records;
var keepGoing=true;
angular.forEach($scope.serieslist, function(series){
if(keepGoing) {
if(series.seriesid == $scope.myseriesid){
angular.forEach(series.book, function(book){
if(book.bookid == $scope.mybookid){
$scope.selectedbook = book;
keepGoing = false;
}
});
}
}
});
});
if you change your data to
var data = {
"records": {
"SpectrumSeries": {
"name": "Spectrum Series",
"seriesid": "SpectrumSeries",
"book": {
"book1": {
"name": "White Curse",
"bookid": "WhiteCurse",
"image": "book1"
},
"book2": {
"name": "Blue Fox",
"bookid": "BlueFox",
"image": "book2"
}
}
},
"Series2": {
"name": "Spectrum Series",
"seriesid": "SpectrumSeries",
"book": {
"book1": {
"name": "White Curse",
"bookid": "WhiteCurse",
"image": "book1"
},
"book2": {
"name": "Blue Fox",
"bookid": "BlueFox",
"image": "book2"
}
}
}
}
}
Then you can just do serieslist[myseriesid].book[bookid] to get the book.
check this fiddle jsfiddle.net/devjit/wdtk370z/5
Or you can set the selected book in controller like
$scope.selectedBook = data.record[$routeParams.seriesid].book[$routeParams.bookid];
and in HTML
{{selectedBook.name}}
