I need to develop a website and the website need to be responsive. I haven't developd a site since 2011. I always developed with 960px, but now I already did some Google search now and I view some statistics that say that nowadays the resolution most used is 1366x768. So maybe its better develop for 1366x768? Whats your opinion?
You can use StatCount to give you a idea how much market are you losing (the link points to screen resolution statistics for North America in the last year period).
First you can try to support all screen resolutions you can.
Now, how much work do you need to add support for lower resolutions and how that ill affect your site? It depends a lot on what do you want and how do you develop your sites.
It's a trade off and only you can tell if you need to support that resolution or if it a waste of time and money.

I decided to make an application that like statechart simulation tool or flowchart (such as yEd, MS visio etc.). It will be a diagram scene application. But, I have'nt decided to platform that I will use yet. Which one is suitable for this jobs?
Qt,
MS WPF,
Python
Others
well, I have only WPF platform experience but I'll share my experience in those area.
I worked almost 2 years for developing in desktop application using WPF(I know it was 1~3 millions $ project). and some portion of my job is developing and maintaining diagram based canvas with telerik libraries.
but the first, I want to recommend you to choose your program going to be a .net-based/cross-platform/web-based.
If you choose that you are going to make windows application and those diagram chart, then WPF and telerik may be a one of good choices.

I was wondering what your opinion is on choosing the right tool for implementing a grid in my react project? It should support paging, filtering, adding new data, editing the existing data (in a new view). I already know that all two options support all the things I need, but I have 0 experience in all of them. So I was wondering, which one do you think is best?
ag-Grid: Absolute winner! It is feature rich, good looking and well documented.
The below link has explained the Rendering Time, Frames Per Second (FPS), Memory Consumption, Live Updates capacity in detail.
https://www.crankuptheamps.com/blog/posts/2020/01/23/grid-comparison-2/#
You can check the popularity of different grid in the below link
https://jspreadsheets.com/
From experience I can say ag grid has the best documentation so the learning and implementation will be easy. The documentation is so good that you can learn to implement all the features in just one day.
Size-wize, ag-Grid is larger than much of the competition. This may be a deal-breaker for some people.

So, I have a desktop site that has lots of features and design specific contents which are not really suitable for mobile view (loading speed etc).
So, I want to have a separate mobile site, such as m.example.com.
I am thinking of somehow detecting that it is in either mobile or tablet view.
What would be the most appropriate tutorial that is up to date?
As for a good overview of what you might want (to do further research), you might want to take a look at this question: How to make Mobile website like m.yahoo.com (Mobile Version)?
For a good tutorial, I'm not sure if you're asking for a text tutorial or a video tutorial. I find that text tutorials give you options to go at your own pace and dive deeper in the subject. Therefore, I would suggest this tutorial: http://www.html5rocks.com/en/mobile/responsivedesign/
Wish you best of luck with your developing

AMAZON VS GOOGLE
Compared to the prices and features and service
what platform should i go for if i want to host a small sql db some small apps webservice and a small storage?
What are the main differences between them?....
Has anybody experience with the these services and would like to share some Information ....
Everything is welcome!
Since you've used the word "small" 3 times, I will venture to say that, in my opinion, GAE is the best fit. Small apps remain inside the free quota on GAE, and you can't beat $0 a far as price goes. Also, GAE handles more of the messy, time-consuming backend tasks. I doubt you want to spend much time maintaining or setting up a "small" app, so having to deal with fewer of these tasks is beneficial. I have some small apps on GAE which I have not even touched for a couple of years. Time is money.

i am currently undergoing the branding of a place that is in the outskirts of a major city. the situation at hand is that the place is unknown and not easy to get around, so my associates and i have planned to develop a gps application with specifics eg safari lodges, conference venues of this area and make it possible for people to download it onto their smartphones (nokia, iphone and black berry) and be able to navigate their way around.
the issue is how much would it cost to develop such an application and run it?
need an answer ASAP. thanks a mil.
The answer to this question could be 1000$, but it could be 100.000$ as well. There are so many details to a project like this that must be taken into account that it is almost impossible to answer your question more precisely.
To give an example - consider details like (but not only):
who will supply the necessary content
does the content need to be updated on a regular basis -> CMS
should the app navigate the user around in turn-by-turn style or should it be more like an interactive map
These three details alone would make a huge difference. So, the best thing you can do is contact a company or a freelance developer, brief him precisely on the matter and see how much it'll cost you.
